They did scream and yell and “woo!”. The phone’s mic is automatically adjusting the input volume to the average level of sound. The playback of the music in the stadium is MUCH louder than the crowd, which causes to drown out any sound nowhere near the level of noise that the music and even fireworks are emitting. Also, the camera is only capturing a couple of heads that are near, the rest of the audience is too far to tell what their expressions are. Notice at the end of the video, when the music ends, how the level of the crowd goes up by a lot? Sometimes, when there are fireworks, even the music goes down because it’s adjusting its peaking levels to the fireworks, which in those moments are actually louder than the music. Also, when the camera kept turning to record the screen behind him, those people on the bottom of the screen were having a blast. Who knows how many other people were doing the same, but we weren’t there to say whether or not the crowd was dead. I do think that people are always too preoccupied with recording on their phones anything they see instead of enjoying things.
Well most of the people there were football fans and men who paid top price to watch the game and really don’t cars for Jlo or Shakira. Don’t get me wrong I live for this superball and would totally go crazy at a performance like this but it’s so sad that you have to generalize this and act like Americans don’t know how to party. Don’t be so proud to be latin when almost every country in south America is a thousand miles behind the U.S.A. Be humble. And this is coming from an european.

They did an amazing job with the lighting, cueing the fireworks to the music and transitions between songs and most importantly Shakira and JLO did an outstanding job with their performances. Definitely one of the best halftime shows I've seen.

*watching this, I think one of the reasons this was one of my most loved shows is because it entirely appeals to the tv audience, which, let's face it, is the only audience that matter during the SuperBowl. They focused on just a tiny circle and put on an amazing shows, unlike when Katy Perry or Justin Timberlake tried to incorporate too much of the field.*

They did an amazing job with the lighting, cueing the fireworks to the music and transitions between songs and most importantly Shakira and JLO did an outstanding job with their performances. Definitely one of the best halftime shows I've seen.

*watching this, I think one of the reasons this was one of my most loved shows is because it entirely appeals to the tv audience, which, let's face it, is the only audience that matter during the SuperBowl. They focused on just a tiny circle and put on an amazing shows, unlike when Katy Perry or Justin Timberlake tried to incorporate too much of the field.*
