If you’re cutting on a 45’,your rise and run will be the same length. So,you can simply multiply that number x1.414 and then you get your travel length. If you know your travel length and you want to find out the rise and run, simply divide the length of the travel by 1.414. This only works out for a45’ angle which is the most common for average fabrication and building projects around the house. 1.414x Length if rise or run = travel length.
Love it, I remember the day very well when my tutors were teaching me about this on roofing work and in the job site
The goats 🐐 wishing I work with you gentleman
Amazing!!!
Pythagoras was also a great philosopher and mystic. 🌌 like...really

Yes I do actually it was the one thing I can remember from school
Time to build a house then. 😁
Very cool. Can also use this in other things too like, to find 208 volts in a 120/240v transformer.
Very cool! I didn't know that. Thanks!😁
Never trust a carpenter that wears sandals. Lol
Just means they have nothing to prove. 😉
Is sarcasm a requirement for carpentry?
Absolutely! 😁
A squared plus B squared = your a square! 😅
WTF did you just say? 😊
