Ahh the aegis, it was my first kit, and i believe it was the High grade version i got, i also had the Forbidden Gundam, the Duel Gundam, the Raider Gundam and the Buster Gundam, sadly those 5 kits are now unrepairable, and most of their pieces are missing.
i have a problem clipping the rifle onto the hand manipulator. it seems like there isnt a snug fit. i needed to readjust the positioning of the thumb to firmly have the hand grasp the rifle
Hey jabman025 i sorta broke the part where the leg attaches to the hips of my red frame kit. Maybe to much posing. Is there a way where you can order new parts??? Thanks
the aegis is a really weird mobile suit. since I'm moving into a small apartment, I really need to reduce space. I'm thinking of selling off my kits and starting fresh with only master grades since I can have fewer models, but more complexity. I'll probably start with collecting the five ew gundams from wing.

The transformation on this thing is SOOOO complicated. Finished mine last week and still can't get it right. It's the damn transforming chest; head doesn't seem to want to go in place.
Weird, my MG AEGIS gundam hooks onto the actionbase via a piece under the rear skirt armor, but its a HUGE pain in the ass to keep that buttflap from falling off
Probably the Sinanju. That thing is simply amazing and almost without flaws! The FA Unicorn is incredibly unstable and the Aegis does seem to have it's fair share of problems as well. So from a pure quality point of view the Sinanju is the superior model by far.
Question, since the front and back skirt keeps falling would gluing it be adviceable then? Planning to buy this... Also I don't like the the hollow look and AG feel of the back of the shield
Its ironic that this kit has a different frame when in the Seed show its actually stated the Aegis is build on different frame that the rest of Gundams lol. Just a bit of trivia.

For a second at the end I was expecting you to say "Size comparison with a tin of pop.... it's about the same size as a tin of pop"
if you're getting burned out on building "Gundams" this is a really refreshing and very different build experience
I think it'll look cool if you put the effect parts on the spikes while the Gundam is in the mobile armor mode.

its not as hard of a build as he states. my 4 year old and i built it and only broke one piece. which was easily fixed

Well Aegis was most unique of original GAT machines so its so of course MG kit would also be most unique from those.
