- The purpose of me requesting they react to songs like these is just to expose them to music they may or may not have heard before, to expand their horizons and to sate my curiosity over whether they will like them or not. As such I don't really care about likes/dislikes on these video postings or even the popularity of my channel or theirs for that matter.
Also nothing is monetized on my channel so I make no money from posting them, they do these for me and I just post them here in case other people are curious what they think of these songs too after they send me them and I have watched them myself. As mentioned this is not their channel, if you wish to visit their channel it can be found listed below.

This sounds as elegant and timeless to me as it did in 1980.
Say a lot about them that they felt talking about soda is more important than the beautiful song tagged in the video.

I don't know what is the point of exposing songs like this to people who have clearly grown up in a barrel, who are not AT ALL open to anything beyond the sandbox they play in. These two must be some of the most disinterested and uninteresting people (presumably) alive. Yawn indeed.

Of course they have no idea where the city is. After all, 2 seconds in he was calling it Veena. These two are a prime example of why people shake their heads at the youth of today.
I've watched a few videos on this channel now (I thought I'd give it a fair chance) and this is the first time I've ever seen the wonderful pleasure of listening to music made to seem like such a tedious, soul-destroying chore. Even the more positive reactions I've seen, seem to resemble all the enthusiasm of someone opening an overdue utility bill. If your heart isn't in this 'reaction video' stuff, why bother?

I don’t mind them not liking the song. It’s a personal thing. I am bothered by the fact they thought their video is interesting enough to post it. It’s hard to be relevant if you have no education to comment intelligently nor modicum of passion to convey to the public.

This was sung by Midge Ure who co-organised The Live Aid concert with Bob Geldof and was hugely successful, only kept from reaching No1 by "Woman" by John Lennon which was released shortly after he was shot.
And ridiculously the novelty record Shaddap Your Face! Ironically it's probably been extra remembered in peoples consciousness for that and probably more so than if it had hit number 1. Deserved to be at the top of the charts though.

An example of younger generation who have not an inkling about music.I don't blame them because music from the noughty's onwards has gone really downhill with no musical artistic value but on the up note I think in the past 3-5 years it has improved and I think it's getting better with a few decent artist now coming up.

must be the bestsong ever to come out of the 80's and Ultravox are a brilliant if not perfect group ever. today is 22 Aug 2021 and it was released in 1980 and still today 40 years after it is still in great demand. it features on the RSD drop this year and the year before. if you dont like this you have blocked ears. go listen to the album...
Don't forget guys,Americans are blinkered to outside their own country,they like fast paced music such as rap or r n b ect and not what us europeans have listened to for the best part of 4 and a half decades of absolute class,some of us go back further into the 70s where there were many genres of music from this side of the pond.

I’m 71 and Ultravox is one of the best bands of all time. Try Dancing with Tears in my Eyes…up tempo. Vienna won numerous awards and was number 1 in numerous countries in Europe.
In the UK it was blocked from number 1 for 3 weeks by Joe Dolce, people with terrible taste in music have always existed!
Inspired entertainment, watching people watching a video they don’t like and having nothing much to say about it.
Ultravox were pushing us into future soundscapes at the time. Vienna is ambient music, so best not reacted to when your already feeling as sleepy as if youde been up all nite. It will only rock you to sleep. For something upbeat and fast by ultravox try "Sleepwalk" ...its definately NOT sleepy... it was used as a Speed Skate song at the Roller Rinks in Oz. As for Vienna, for many of us it was a song to smoke with. Ambient, dreamy, spacious vibes.

At no point during the song did he realise it was VIENNA not Veena. He probably doesn't even know it's a place! Best bit though is Mrs Smiley pants trying to look classy by sticking her pinky up when drinking the soda but then dribbling it down her chin and vest, priceless!

83 ummmm no, You mean 1980 + 81 as album of same band name in 1980 was a hit after there other hit singles: Sleepwalk, Passing Strangers in 1980, + was 3rd single release in early 1981

What a boring couple. What a boring reaction . This is what I call music but you don’t know it. It is of no importance whether it is slow. It’s about the quality, the class. One of my favorite tracks of the 80s.
