FAQ:
Did I get a certification/attend a bootcamp for QA?
No, my company hires manual QA as an entry level position and then provides the training.
Do I need to know code?
For my testing specifically, I do not need to know how to write code.

Hey I am a QA automation engineer from Greece.I really love your weekly vlogs!Keep them coming!
Hey I feel you on work life balance. It's tough especially coming from the WFH life. I know companies want to get rid of it due to real estate value, worker accountability, etc., but it really blows. We went from WFH to hybrid (3 days office, 2 home), which I can't complain. The reason my company has buildings all over the country (zero of my team members are in my state) and we need to build relationships and grow as a company together. BLAH! Anyways, I hope your company opens their eyes to a work/life balance because it definitely helps employees in the long run. Maybe keep insisting or have focus groups within your company? Idk.
anyways I just wanted to say thanks for the QA tips and insight to your work life because they have been helpful since I'm new to it all. Thanks a lot and I hope you guys at least get a hybrid schedule so you can keep your passions strong without feeling that burnout.
I'm glad you're getting more involved with the work and learning more facets of QA. It's good to see you keeping the fitness going along with the intentional lifestyle. Gym time and a run after work every day seems alot but if you can do it that's wonderful.
Thanks Sal! The fitness stuff does take up a lot of time, but the mental health benefits from it are worth it for me for sure!
you are so pretty! lovee the vlog 💗
Hey Girl!! You are so cute!! I just wanna say I've been watching your videos, and I worked for Apple TV and Pay in QA! I'm now pursing full-time like you, and I love your little vlogs! I love QA, and you motivate me to keep it up! Good job girl, thanks for all you do
omg thank you so much!! 😊 It's fun to connect with other people in QA like you!
Welcome back! Great vlog - loving the realistic style!
Thanks so much Sarah!💛
Great content ❤😀
Hi Madeline,
Could you tell which tools you use for creating test cases, bug reporting and tracking?
Which is the most used test management tools for manual testers in general?
What company do you work for ? I am on my road to joining the QA space , I took a bootcamp type of class at the end of last year . I am now studying on my own while applying for Manual testing positions . Your vlogs are cool, I like seeing what it can be like in the role 👍
Do you mind answering the question…which boot camp did you attend?

Lol you are an analyst.. why do you need to be in an office?
SQL queries nice! Definitely helpful in QA! What app do you use for automation testing?
It’s fun to learn and start making sense of all this stuff! I currently don’t do automation, maybe in the future 😊
How did you get into the industry? Bootcamp? Any advice on the topic is appreciated. Thanks
Hey! Madeline I was eagerly waiting for this vlog and I really love this vlog so so much you are my inspiration and I wish you reach 10K Subscribers very very soon!💞☺️💫
Thanks so much friend!😊
@@MadelineElaineYT please give me heart comment once 😭
What program are you using to train for you half marathon? You’re the 3rd person I’ve seen planning on doing one this year so I think I’ll give it a try too! Found the Nike Running Club program… thanks for the push!!
I'm using Nike Running Club actually! I'm really liking the guided runs they do, I feel like it helps me have a better mindset toward running in general.
Good luck, you've got this!!💪
Hi Madeline! Please guide us how to start QA job where to start? I’ve less than a year experience in QA while back in India. I’ve done couple of certifications. But honestly don’t know how to start. How to stand out in crowd
Do a boot camp…Practicum, Careerist, etc.
Hey Madeline! can I ask where are you working?
Oh nooo…no more WFH⁉️😭 A sad day for the introverts.😑
Hahaha there are definitely pros and cons! I’m surprised how much I like working in office actually…but I’d say I’m pretty 50/50 with extroversion and introversion 😊
@@MadelineElaineYT that’s a blessing that you can either be in the peace of your home working or with ppl you don’t mind being around in the office. Thx 4 your videos about work! Plz keep us updated on your MQA journey. I’m just starting out in a Manual QA boot camp and with all the news of layoffs in tech it’s good to know that QA’s are still working and thriving. Even if it’s just 1. Gives me hope! 👍🏼 liked & subscribed! 🙂
I really love all your vlogs, showing your lifestyle as a QA Analyst, I’m in the look for a job in this field, and it is nice to see people from this community here, there’s not a lot of QA RUclipsrs lol. Btw do you have Instagram ? It would be nice to follow you there too and chat someday, I’m looking to make new friends within this field ☺️
