I hope my comment doesn't get lost! lol.. I started as a striker but figured I wasn't very good, so I converted to a center-back. I realized I was a beast when it came to 1v1 situations. I was nicknamed "No One Passes By" in high school because even the best dribblers found it difficult to get past me. I'm 15 years old and 179 cm tall. I don't know if I'll grow taller since my parents aren't tall, but I'm already taller than both of them. I have good ground passing skills, but my long balls are below average. I receive a lot of accolades from friends and sometimes coaches, but some later discourage me because of my height. I feel like when I join a really good team, I might get disqualified or benched because of my height. I recently joined a new academy and won the MVP of the season. I played CB, CDM, and RB. My speed is okay or average. I want to send you my video where I played CDM and a few sessions as CB. I would like you to analyze it, and I don't mind paying a few dollars for your analysis. I also need your advice on whether I should continue playing as a CB or CDM. Thanks.
Never be discouraged! You don’t have to be tall to be a great center back or you can always be CDM or Fullback but yeah I will analyze it, shoot me a DM on Instagram @footballfundamental
Well i was winger for like 4 years and i have one of the best techniques in my school im very fast Im a natural winger i prefer right food so im a right winger
Coach i got good vision and long passes and good strength and alright ball control and alright defendingand good shooting but the down side of me is not being quick and skillful
It sounds like you have a lot of great skills to work with! Keep practicing and improving, and you'll become a well rounded player. Try to play CDM or CM, you might enjoy with your abilities as long as you are good under pressure
Hey coach my strengths are speed , dribbling , game IQ , passing ; what position is recommended i don't have any neutral position now but i used to be a Left winger. ❤😊
I'm 5'7 quite skinny but have surprisingly decent strength. Strengths: -Very Quick and Agile -Great at Dribbling in Tight Positions -Linkup Play -Jumping -Endurance -Defensive Contribution Weaknesses: -Concentration -Awareness -Composure (can be on and off) -Confidence -Decision Making
i have almost the exact same stats as u, 5'7 and a half, skinny but barely lose physical challenges, fastest player on the field, great stamina cuz i swim and bike alot, i love dribbling, not that much good at jumping since where i play we dont play crosses more tiki taka, and defending is what im naturally gud at since its how i got into football.
I have decent passing, good close ball control, have great tactical acumen, have somewhat good shooting, great pressing and interceptions but my overall passing range is bad, I don't have a lot of strength or speed, and my dribbling is 50/50
I’m good at dribbling I’m quick and I’m alright at defending it’s pre season now and we’ve been doing training with the best team in the age group and my team which is 2 leagues below that to find out which team everyone should be on but I’m not that smart I don’t know when to do all the stuff and there trying me out at fullback what do you recommend
Respected coach, I just want to know which position I am suitable for. My stats are as follows :- Passing - Yes, I am quite good at passing and I have acceptable vision. I am left footed and pretty good at passing with my left foot. Sometimes, when necessary, I can also manage passing with my left foot. Shooting - I am also acceptable at shooting, but not always. I can do finesses and straight shots as well. Dribbling - I am not so good at dribbling but sometimes, I get away from defenders with a bit difficulty. Pace - I have moderate pace and can carry out some individual runs. Though, I am not very good at it. Defending - Sometimes, I can defend pretty well and handle the attackers. I am not so good at slide tackling but I can stop attackers with ease sometimes. Physical - I have moderate physical. I have my balance on certain times when defenders try to send me down. Although, I get tackled pretty easily. Yeah, That's all. A kind reply from you will be my greatest achievement. Yours Respectively, Your Subscriber. 🤎🤎
@@footballfundamental Thanks, Coach! Sorry, but I also forgot to mention that I'm a bit shorter than other players in my team and I have great stamina. If there are any changes in your choice, please kindly inform me. I'd surely appreciate it! 🤎
My coach plays me both CAM and CDM. CDM: my coach only plays me in this position when he play a physical strong CM to cover my physical short comings. I'm really creative and my friends and coach say I play like Pirlo and I'm good at Interceptions. CAM:is the position I mainly play. I act like a Second Striker when our striker is double teamed(which they do quite often). And I'm extremely fast and have the most shot power in our local league(I'm top 3 at the very least)(my coach Instructs me to shoot if the box is full and never touch the box unless I'm sure I can dribble pass them) I'm good at: Passing(Pirlo) Speed(Neymar) Dribbling(Zidane) Creativity(Guti) Aggression(Gattuso) My Physically is horrible😭 And I can't for the life of me, play a full 90 cause of my low stamina and my explosive speed. Without a good striker to pull defender or make runs I can't play to my fullest abilities. I've been thinking to add another position to my current ability. Got and advised?🤷🏾♂️
Hey, I'm new to soccer and I want to have great Game IQ and very good dribbling skills. +good passing and sometimes shooting skills. What position should I play?
I have great game sense and last season I played centre back and commanded the defence even though I’m below average height and not very strong. I played winger briefly for a season and often made some good runs. Otherwise I’ve just been filling in where my team needs me.
Coach i would like to know what position suits me the best. My stats are as follows : Pace - I am a really fast player although i have a stamina that is not too good but not too bad Streght - I am a little stronger than average Passing - I am excellent at passing. Shooting - I am not that good at shooting Dribbling - I have decent dribbling abilities. Defensive ability - I can defend decently well Extra note : I am tall I have good vision Does not play well under pressure I dont get tackled easily And thats all. Thank you! I hope you see this comment and reply since i really want to be good at football
Hey! With your speed and passing, I’d say you’d make a great winger or central midfielder. Just keep practicing, and you’ll get better at handling pressure in no time! You got this!
Amazing video, very helpful information! I am looking to get back into playing football for my university team, but I have only played ultimate frisbee competitively in the past several years. I used to play pretty much any position, even keeper, but I tended to to be played mostly at LB, RW, and any midfield position. I am 173 cm and I have always been pretty light, so when I play physically, stronger players can easily push me around, but I do play very aggressively. I have asthma, so stamina is one of my biggest weaknesses. I am one of the faster players in the high school ultimate league I played in, but I would say quickness is one of my main strengths, with being able to change direction and beat my mark off the ball. I was often the captain, and I am always giving orders and information to help my teammates. I am the type of player who would rather get a great assist than score a goal, but my finishing isn't terrible. I tend to be a little indecisive, so having to make very quick decisions after receiving the ball is not great for me. I think I am a patient player, and I am able to wait for higher percentage opportunities both on offense and defense. I can also tackle pretty well, but my ball control needs a lot of work. I think I can pick out good chances and through passes/ short passes then moving into space, but sometimes I don't scan as much as I need to. What positions do you think I should focus on trying out?
Hey coach. I'm 5'5.Right footed can use left foot pretty good as well. Have great speed. I think I'm physically strong and have good finishing skills and score using headers and volleys too. I used to play as a winger when i was younger. I thought about switching to midfield but I can't find happiness in that positions. I want to be in attacking positions. Which position would suit me??
I am a player that generally plays as a Left Winger or No. 10 as an Attacking Midfielder. My Strengths: 1) Speed 2) Short, quick passes. 3) Long crosses from deep midfield 4) Ability to take on upto 2 defenders at a time 5) Game IQ 6) Penalties and Corners My Weaknesses: 1) I lose the ball often if more than 3 defenders are on me 2) Stamina 3) Maybe Strength but I am not the weakest on the pitch but also not the strongest 4) Sometimes I tend to play very slow paced Please advise on my position as I am confused between Attacking midfielder ot Winger
can you help choose which position should i play? strength: very good dribbling very good pace shooting defending communicating weakness first touch looking around/ awareness of where the players are passing (especially long passes)
Maybe a winger, just try to improve your first touch and your passing( to improve both make mid strong passes close to a wall and try to receive it to another direction)
Two most important things to be aware of footballer, first touch and scanning. You can’t have these two as a weakness! Do what it takes to improve them then maybe a winger!
Coach I Have a Great Defence Good Heading Great Dribbling Decent speed Great technique But I have bad Finishing Where should i play usually i play mid to make dribbles and Defend if the opponent attack is strong
What position should I play? I am good at dribbling and I'm pretty fast I also have good vision and passing pretty good in defense as well. I'm also pretty good at positioning. All this my friend said.
I'm 5'7, quite bulky, and have a bit of speed on me. My strengths: I'm good at heading, I'm good defensively, my passing is okay, I have a lot of concentration and I communicate. My weaknesses: I lose concentration after a while, I'm not very skillful, I am not a good dribbler in congested areas and I am too eager to get on the ball
I make the right decision on the ball I’m super solid defensively and always know what’s happening on the pitch I’m alright at getting out tight spaces (I’m improving on that)
My strenghts are: pace, IQ, dribbling, tackling , creativity, passing. Grey area: defending, off the ball movement, vision. Weaknesses: Injury prone, crossing, long balls physicallity. Where should I play? My main positions are: CAM LW RB, maybe I should try something else?
My soccer abilities include -Lightning fast -Endless stamina -strong on ball (although skinny) -amazing tackles and slide tackles -physical -accurate passes -ok skills -ok game iq -5’0 (quite young) I think I’m a central midfielder but what do you think?
I currently play as a fullback and 13 years old and 5,7 height and my weaknesses are first touch, agility, decent/mid speed, and short passing, mid finishing, mid dribbling My strengths are 1v1 defending, acceleration, and long passing What position should I play
Not great at football, lack of confidence, used to play on the wing when young but as grown older i have become afraid to get the ball and afraid to fail everybody by making mistakes so transitioned to defence so i dont get the ball much. i want to go back up the field but i feel like i might not have the courage
Hey coach I play LW,I’m great at dribbling/skill moves, run really fast, great at passing, jump high, and im tall for my age (5’9 at 13). but I’m not really good at shooting. Am I good for the position or should I switch?
Coach I'm 5'11 and weight is 55 kg, i used to play as a Right winger in school Strength is kicking power , speed , I'm physically strong and i can do basic dribbling and passes My weakness is controll, balance and stamina . Also my vission isn't good , i can't make quick decisions, sometimes i pass ball to the wrong player.😢 What should i play ?
I am playing as a Lw right know i used to be a great cb and a great leader i am fast and physically strong for my age and my passing are good And i became a Lw since its my dream what you think?
Skills: I am known pretty well for my decent dribbling; if I need to beat the man in front of me, I will. Passing wisely, I would say I'm good; I believe I'm able to give some long balls as well as short passes to break the defence. Shooting is one of my decent traits; this is something we must talk about. I am well known for being right-footed, but lately, I've realized that my left foot is really good at shooting, so I'm like, why not use my left foot more often? For the second goal that I scored in my second match of playing as a striker, I used my left foot to curl the ball around the keeper on a breakaway, sending the ball to the bottom left corner. Now, tackling is pretty decent; if needed, I can send the man with the ball out of the area, but I'm known more for joking and being able to control the player with the ball. If I'm in a 1 vs. 1 scenario, I can position myself to take the ball away from the defender. On my team, I am well known for being the highest jumper, and I am more than capable of hitting the ball with my head in the air. Now, crossing isn't one of my greatest traits, as I've never played as a winger or anything like that. Physical Attributes: I don't know my maximum speed, but I've been known to be a fast player, as it is one of my traits. I'm not that strong, but if a player were to make me mad or angry, I would be able to boast an extremely high level of strength, even though I'm only 120 pounds and 5 feet 8 and 1/2. I'm not sure if I have a lot of stamina, but you could say that I have average stamina. Tactical Awareness: I can tell what will happen during a game, for I do have that so-called "Soccer sense." Most of the time I can tell what the player will do and I have a natural sense for positions that I often play for, but for striker, it just comes to me naturally. Preference: Most of the time, I enjoy playing up top at striker, but sometimes I enjoy CB as well. But usually, I like striker. Past experiences: I remember playing CB a lot and enjoying 1 vs 1, but I hated just waiting and staying at the back. I remember when we were doing a scrimmage back at Richmond Hill, and I was playing as a striker for the first time. I was able to score, which sparked the first signs of me playing as a striker. Of course in Richmond Hill, I was never given the chance, but at KO without even asking my coach allowed me to play striker.
Hey coach, i currently play fullback, i used to play striker as a kid but changed positions last year, i play winger sometimes but im thinking about changing back to striker but im not sure, im decent at defending, great pace, great stamina, decent shooting and kinda like a natural finisher, bad dribbling, decent first touch but bad at controlling the ball from the air, physically decent, decent passing, not the best under pressure tho im improving that, also improving my game iq thats all ig should i stick to being a defender or change my position? ppl say that im good at defending but these past weeks i havent been the best at defending but i think its js prob because i stopped practicing my position and im trying to improve in other areas but i believe if i return to practicing my position i will be great at it again and also im great at marking players, attackers get annoyed that i mark them so well. i hope u can reply to this comment, thanks.

I have a great physique, passing, speed defending (because I started as a Defender ), game IQ ,dribbling What position should I play????? Please help me
I currently play as LB. I’m fast, good at shielding the ball and protecting but not the strongest, I can dribble pretty good and my most used skills are: croqueta, Ronaldo chop and step overs and they always help me in situations, I can send long balls and can cross in good, I can also shoot very hard and have good accuracy. The things I struggle on are juggling, sometimes confidence and strength, I also run a lot and in the match I run from each boxes and I’m probably Everywhere on the pitch. Because sometimes I’m on the right flank or uptop or in the middle.
I currently play as a cam at 12 and my strengths are speed, sometimes powershots, defending, sometimes crossing, heading, long passing and acceleration My weaknesses are dribbling, short pasing, strength, and my left foot What position should i change to?
Im very good on passing with pings, im heavy boned (skinny at 72kg and 5'11) im on the more medium speed alot of leg power not afraid of challenges but cant slide tackle lol, Extremly high game IQ a 7/10 on dribbling many faints but not much skills very simple to get by aggresive off the ball and ran multiple marathons so cardio is high. used to be afraid of advancing due to not trusting my capabilities but i dont mind going through 3 people now and 100% take the long shot without a care 6.5/10 speed around (28kmh) 7.5/10 shooting 7,5 passing 7/10 dribbling 6.5 defending 7/10 physicallity ATTRIBUTES -mid dribbling -Can figure out where and when to pass at all times -Can see and pass to the runs of attackers -Not much skillful but decent ; good at needed ones like feints, lane change, etc. -above average at defending -Good at pace -Good at shooting (knuckles, curve, low ) +good at shot from outside the box -Nice control -Nice link ups -Good agility -Good switch -Can take on in 1v1 - WORKHORSE high endurance -positioning WEAKNESS -playing CM once and felt like i was in a middle of a war barely had ball time -can pass from short and shoot from inside the box with weak foot -Heading( somewhat afraid of collision)

Hey coach i am 14 and 60 kgs 5’8 good runs also have insane passing accuracy and vision good shooting also I play midfield and attack midfield I can say I am fast my crossing is also good
I have run , a good vision quick ball recovery good tackling and mostly shaping my team when I’m with the balland most of the time I feel I need to get a goal I feel I’m a midfielder but then my coach sometimes use me as a winger or a center back I don’t know sometimes
It sounds like you have a lot of great skills that can be utilized in different positions! Just keep communicating with your coach about where you feel you can contribute the most.
Hey coach! I have good stamina and speed. I can make good and accurate passes. I have some defensing abilities too. Plz tell me which position I should play.
For sure everyone on my team says am very technically on the ball have good dribbling ability and I am very fast but sometimes I mess up and dont pass them and they tell me I should play as a striker when my finishing ability is low and my position is on the Right wing so my question is should i play as a striker or continue playing as a right winger and cross much often?
So what they say is basically you decision making abilities are not very good! Why don’t you improve it? I have a video on how to improve decision making check out my techniques playlist! I would stay right wing but try to improve those abilities!
I always see CM/CDM as best for me. I don't have the courage to be GK, I don't have *that* good communication skills to be a CB, stamina is one of my weakest so FB is out, my crosses ain't necessarily the best so wingers out, and let's just say I have little to no composure in front of goal, so ST is tough. Tho CDM requires a lot of stamina too, I feel that it's the best way to help improve my def and attack style, and forces me to keep and play the ball in congested space. I have been putting in the work, as of right now, I am not necessarily standout, but I hope one day I can ball out as a CM, preferably CAM.
Honestly yes adaptability is incredibly important, you shouldn’t restrict yourself to be cm, cdm only but also CAM as well. I think you are on the right path.
Sir I am very fast and has excellent dribbling and close control with the ball i am able to cut in with both feet and shoot with them my weak foot is almost as good as my strong foot
Hello, i hope you could answer me I actually like the video and it really helped me out. However, i'm still not quite sure if i should play as an RB or a CM or a striker. What should i do and how can i decide ??
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad the video helped you out. When deciding on your position, consider what you enjoy most and where you can showcase your skills best!
Coach am a short guy and am good at speed and am quick at dribbling have good technique and I perfer playing LW but my coach say I need to play CM. What should i say 😢
So pls help me out iam fast mid shooting(good finish but no power) amazing dribbling and pass(specially through passes) bad physical and defence good game iq and technique wat position should i play???? Pls help me
With your skills in dribbling and passing, I think a central attacking midfielder (CAM) or winger position could be great for you! You can use your game IQ to create chances and support your teammates.
@@footballfundamental i am infact kind of a sweeper 😂 the only thing i can’t do tho is dribble the ball 😔. i can pass both short and long, i got the vision, i can tackle and i can also shoot powerful and accurate shots. i just can’t dribble… that’s why i’ve been put at CB. but i am usually a utility sub as well, cos my coach subs me in any position 😊
Coach my best attribute is my dribbling ability, I'm quite fast and i've got a good vision of the field even when my head is down. I make a lot of unexpected passes that breakup the defensive structure, thank you for your time. I'll be grateful for a response
i have a strange problem- I'm good at both dribbling and passing forward, but if i decide to dribble past someone, then its so hard for me to look up to pass the ball forward, so i keep dribbling until i score, or get tackled, or give up and dribble back and pass back. I think this is because when you play in casual matches in school and even in clubs, it's harder to have a map of the players so you can know when to pass without looking up, because people are sometimes in random places. It's much easier for me to play with people I've played with for a long time because I instinctively know where they are: this is probably a major factor in influencing the chemistry of a team.
My strengths are that I am good at longe range shots (not good at short range shots), I can also defend pretty well, I don’t get pushed around on the field, I am good at short range passing, my sprinting and acceleration along with my stamina is pretty bad, I am not scared to attempt to make those long overhead passes for my wingers, I am 5’7, I don’t like to scream on the field like a CB would or good at heading/leadership skills, I am also not the best at dealing with pressure when getting pressed by those fast players in the field, however when there is space I am not afraid to drive the ball forward to create opportunities, even if I’m slow at running, my dribbling is also ok and my crossing can be worked on, since it’s in the middle. Based on the information What position should I play coach ?
@@footballfundamental yes I play CDM, after asking my peers they decided that my attacking is better than my defending even though I’m slow😅 and initially thought I was good at defending.
If your are physical and good at striking maybe you should be a striker, but you will also need to know how and when to make the runs behind the defense and have a good first touch
Im 12 and 5'1 not skinny whatsoever but also not fat high physicality Strenghths awareness composure confidence making decisions dribbling shooting inside the box short passes long passes cutting in going back to defense weakness shooting outside the box (depends) crosses Skillmoves (half a strength half a weakness) heading the ball defending slide tackling power shots that's about it so what position do you think suits me
I have an eye for passing. Carrying the ball is a skill I want and am working towards. Left footed player playing left back. Not that great at defense due to lacking that first step quickness against defenders sometimes and get beat. My friend has told me one thing that I am is that I’m calm on the ball. I also consciously read where the game will go, such as I know where the ball is gonna be passed to, allowing me to get a head start when going against opponents. I’m not a great footballer, but I still would like to know what you think.
I have a unique problem. I am one of the best defensive players for my school. I'm talking fullback,cm, and cdm( positions I have played, but I player attacking positions for my local club team. I would say my strengths are: -Dribbling in tight spaces -agile and fast( one of the fastest if not fastest player in all teams I've played for) - awareness - defense - positional awareness - good communication - good a scoring - playmaker -good soccer iq Strong Weakness: -first touch(been working on it for a while, getting better) - shooting(sometimes also working to be more consistent) -Terrible at headers - Long passes. Ik I sound like a bragging but I have played every position and have been amazing in everyone( my coaches don't know what position they should play me 😭) they just play me wherever
I’m fast and creative, good ball dribbler not so good at tackling but I am quite good at defending…I have good technique and good communication. What position should I play.

It sounds like you have a lot of great skills to work with! Keep practicing and improving, and you'll become a well rounded player. Try to play CDM or CM, you might enjoy with your abilities as long as you are good under pressure

-Great at Dribbling in Tight Positions
-Linkup Play
-Jumping
-Endurance
-Defensive Contribution
Weaknesses:
-Concentration
-Awareness
-Composure (can be on and off)

i have almost the exact same stats as u, 5'7 and a half, skinny but barely lose physical challenges, fastest player on the field, great stamina cuz i swim and bike alot, i love dribbling, not that much good at jumping since where i play we dont play crosses more tiki taka, and defending is what im naturally gud at since its how i got into football.
I have decent passing, good close ball control, have great tactical acumen, have somewhat good shooting, great pressing and interceptions but my overall passing range is bad, I don't have a lot of strength or speed, and my dribbling is 50/50
Maybe CDM

amazing
I’m good at dribbling I’m quick and I’m alright at defending it’s pre season now and we’ve been doing training with the best team in the age group and my team which is 2 leagues below that to find out which team everyone should be on but I’m not that smart I don’t know when to do all the stuff and there trying me out at fullback what do you recommend
I agree with you playing fullback personally!
Same
Middlefield seems good for you ngl
Respected coach,
I just want to know which position I am suitable for.
My stats are as follows :-
Passing - Yes, I am quite good at passing and I have acceptable vision.

Hello! I think CM is a good position for you!
And I'm extremely fast and have the most shot power in our local league(I'm top 3 at the very least)(my coach Instructs me to shoot if the box is full and never touch the box unless I'm sure I can dribble pass them)
I'm good at:
Passing(Pirlo)
Speed(Neymar)
Dribbling(Zidane)
Creativity(Guti)
Aggression(Gattuso)
My Physically is horrible😭
And I can't for the life of me, play a full 90 cause of my low stamina and my explosive speed.
Without a good striker to pull defender or make runs I can't play to my fullest abilities.
I've been thinking to add another position to my current ability.
Got and advised?🤷🏾♂️
Maybe winger too
Hey, I'm new to soccer and I want to have great Game IQ and very good dribbling skills. +good passing and sometimes shooting skills. What position should I play?
CM or CAM
I have great game sense and last season I played centre back and commanded the defence even though I’m below average height and not very strong. I played winger briefly for a season and often made some good runs. Otherwise I’ve just been filling in where my team needs me.
Try CDM too!
Coach i would like to know what position suits me the best.
My stats are as follows :
Pace - I am a really fast player although i have a stamina that is not too good but not too bad
Streght - I am a little stronger than average
Passing - I am excellent at passing.
Shooting - I am not that good at shooting
Dribbling - I have decent dribbling abilities.
Defensive ability - I can defend decently well
Extra note :
I am tall
I have good vision
Does not play well under pressure
I dont get tackled easily
And thats all. Thank you! I hope you see this comment and reply since i really want to be good at football
Hey! With your speed and passing, I’d say you’d make a great winger or central midfielder. Just keep practicing, and you’ll get better at handling pressure in no time! You got this!
Thanks coach!!
No problem
I used this in my season that just went and was st and i got captain bc how i play in this pos thanksss alott❤
That's awesome to hear! Congrats on becoming captain! Your hard work and dedication really paid off. Keep it up!
Potentially winger or CAM sounds like a good option for you
@@footballfundamental thanks, I'll let you know how it goes for me in those positions!
@@domish5 sounds good!
I think right or left winger would be great for you and right or left forward if your team like to play 433.
I like to dribble as well as showing of my skills but i also have a good vision with good passing abilities ! Which position should i play ?! Mate
I am a player that generally plays as a Left Winger or No. 10 as an Attacking Midfielder.
My Strengths:
1) Speed
2) Short, quick passes.
3) Long crosses from deep midfield
4) Ability to take on upto 2 defenders at a time
5) Game IQ
6) Penalties and Corners
My Weaknesses:
1) I lose the ball often if more than 3 defenders are on me
2) Stamina
3) Maybe Strength but I am not the weakest on the pitch but also not the strongest
4) Sometimes I tend to play very slow paced
Please advise on my position as I am confused between Attacking midfielder ot Winger
@@SudhanvaAdur-hj7hy same strengths and weaknesses
I would say CAM, Winger, or RW, LW
thanks for this video i can play both striker and a winger
That’s great
can you help choose which position should i play?
strength:
very good dribbling
very good pace
shooting
defending
communicating
weakness
first touch
looking around/ awareness of where the players are
passing (especially long passes)
Maybe a winger, just try to improve your first touch and your passing( to improve both make mid strong passes close to a wall and try to receive it to another direction)
Two most important things to be aware of footballer, first touch and scanning. You can’t have these two as a weakness! Do what it takes to improve them then maybe a winger!

Maybe CDM

I am playing as a Lw right know i used to be a great cb and a great leader i am fast and physically strong for my age and my passing are good
And i became a Lw since its my dream what you think?
That’s sick, man! Going from CB to LW? You’re gonna be a beast out there! Just keep doing your thing and enjoy the game!
Skills:
I am known pretty well for my decent dribbling; if I need to beat the man in front of me, I will.
It sounds like you could play Winger, CAM or a striker or even maybe CM

Hey coach! I have good stamina and speed. I can make good and accurate passes. I have some defensing abilities too.

CM, CDM or Fullback

Coach am a short guy and am good at speed and am quick at dribbling have good technique and I perfer playing LW but my coach say I need to play CM. What should i say 😢
I would play you winger for sure!
My speed is okay ,dribilling is okay too i dont have experience im not good at defending and prefer attacking what position should i ply?
Probably a winger or one of the high forward positions. RF or LF
i have transitioned from ST to wide midfielder to wingback/fullback to CB. now i am a CB for my team even though i am not tall nor physical 😂
You don’t need to be big as long as one of the center back is big! You could be a sweeper
@@footballfundamental i am infact kind of a sweeper 😂
the only thing i can’t do tho is dribble the ball 😔. i can pass both short and long, i got the vision, i can tackle and i can also shoot powerful and accurate shots. i just can’t dribble… that’s why i’ve been put at CB. but i am usually a utility sub as well, cos my coach subs me in any position 😊
Well thats a good thing!
I was first Left winger but now am playing Attacking Mid
How is that working out for you?
Coach my best attribute is my dribbling ability, I'm quite fast and i've got a good vision of the field even when my head is down. I make a lot of unexpected passes that breakup the defensive structure, thank you for your time. I'll be grateful for a response
winger or CAM
Winger or CAM potentially?
i have a strange problem- I'm good at both dribbling and passing forward, but if i decide to dribble past someone, then its so hard for me to look up to pass the ball forward, so i keep dribbling until i score, or get tackled, or give up and dribble back and pass back.
I agree and I think thats a common problem with a lot of players. That’s why I always say to know and understand your teammates.
Winger precisely left wing, am fast with elite finishing, spacing
LW or LM sounds like great option
@@footballfundamental thanks
Based on the information
What position should I play coach ?
Have you tried CDM?
@@footballfundamental yes I play CDM, after asking my peers they decided that my attacking is better than my defending even though I’m slow😅 and initially thought I was good at defending.
@@footballfundamental regardless though I don’t lose the ball often and I can practice on my shorter shots if needed
Definitely but have alternative positions that you can play too dont be stuck playing 1 position
I'm good at dribbling, passing but not that fast what position do you think I should play?
CAM or Striker
ive got excellent vision shooting and crossing what position should i play. i want to play right mid but i dont know if thats the right position
I think you can play winger
I still do'nt know which posistion. i'm have a physique and i'm very good at defending but i'm also good at attaking and schooting? What should I be
If your are physical and good at striking maybe you should be a striker, but you will also need to know how and when to make the runs behind the defense and have a good first touch
I agree!
Can you do a video explaining the role of a midfielders
Check out my improve positioning playlist! I have many..

that's about it so what position do you think suits me
Winger, wingback probably
Hey coach! I am fast and good at passing and pretty good dribbling, what do you think would be best for me?
Possible winger or if your defending is good a wingback
I have an eye for passing. Carrying the ball is a skill I want and am working towards. Left footed player playing left back. Not that great at defense due to lacking that first step quickness against defenders sometimes and get beat. My friend has told me one thing that I am is that I’m calm on the ball. I also consciously read where the game will go, such as I know where the ball is gonna be passed to, allowing me to get a head start when going against opponents. I’m not a great footballer, but I still would like to know what you think.
Try wingback!
@@footballfundamental thanks
@@footballfundamentalwould it be a bad idea to try midfield as well?
I have a unique problem. I am one of the best defensive players for my school. I'm talking fullback,cm, and cdm( positions I have played, but I player attacking positions for my local club team.
I would say my strengths are:
-Dribbling in tight spaces
-agile and fast( one of the fastest if not fastest player in all teams I've played for)
- awareness
- defense
- positional awareness
- good communication
- good a scoring
- playmaker
-good soccer iq
Strong
Weakness:
-first touch(been working on it for a while, getting better)
- shooting(sometimes also working to be more consistent)
-Terrible at headers
- Long passes.
Ik I sound like a bragging but I have played every position and have been amazing in everyone( my coaches don't know what position they should play me 😭) they just play me wherever
I would suggest you play wingback or winger but you can’t have first touch as weakness whatever position you play
I’m fast and creative, good ball dribbler not so good at tackling but I am quite good at defending…I have good technique and good communication. What position should I play.
I think you would make a great CDM
I’m great at RW and so my coach put me there but my entire career I’ve been CB which I’m great at GK too
Nicee! Which one you like the most?
My attributes are speed, crossing and passing and I'm a right winger
Thats perfect!
