  • Once again we head north to The Highland Wildcat trails in Golspie.
Fresh sections of track lie in wait for the young shredders.
Friday track set up was the usual Hard-line weather. Monsoon is being kind to say the least but the drainage did well.
Saturday soon arrived with more rain to start but it soon gave way to the great big ball of fire in the sky.
The slop turned to mud and by race runs you could almost say it had dried to a firm dough you could make pies with.
Race runs were equally as hot with some awesome racing from the young shredders, tackling everything the track threw at them.
Roots, rocks, gaps, jumps, Oh and the heckling from Ewan whilst running the gauntlet through tombstone alley.
Sunday was notably different starting of dry but overcast with the wind gathering pace as the day went on.
Practice came and went and the mud stayed at bay we were beginning to wonder, have the weathermen got it wrong?
    how wrong were we?
the wind kept coming as the racing commenced. With First runs coming to a close the first spits of rain graced our goggles.
Here comes the rain 🌧️ we though in our best Beatles impersonation and boy did it come.
half way through the second race runs the heavens opened and the slop returned.
Tombstone alley turned into something out of the slide show but made for great spectating even given the conditions and gave Ewan all the ammunition he needed for an afternoon of heckling, true hard-line style.
