i bought a 1500 supposedly used as a golf course spreader. im looking for any information on it. it looks similar to yours but a narrower front end. anything i could get would be greatly appreciated.
@@jefferybarker7388 I just bought a 1500 as well. Mine is a 1988 model. I found out any and all parts are discontinued from Deere on these. Deere made them from 1987 to 1990 and quit supporting them in 1991. I had an axle seal go out that too the axle bearing with it. I found a number on the bearing and was able to get one from timken. The seal is a crap shoot and won't be an exact replacement but close enough. I have to JB weld the brake lining to the shoe since the axle oil delaminated it. Needless to say, these 1500's are a project where ingenuity will need to come into play.
This is exactly what I need for my project. I want to build a ride on, self contained high pressure surface washer. I wish your bed still tilted as I'd LOVE to see better how this is built.
I just bought one myself and plan to build a similar bed. It's going to be very handy around the farm. Thanks for your video.
