Hi @flyrish, Throughout years, did you use normal E10 petrol or was it 95% Octane ? I read on teambhp forums that turbo charged engines (especially Direct Fuel Injection ones) are sensitive to the type of fuel. Due to the corrosive nature of ethanol mixed petrol, teambhp forum members advise against using E10/E20 fuel for TGDI engines. The thread was quite active in 2020-2022 and although the facelift Sonet 2024 is E20 compliant I’m not sure how these turbocharged engines would turn out to be if someone always uses E20 fuel (as government is pushing hard for it and 95% Octane fuels aren’t available at all petrol pumps) Also, there is a thread on teambhp which discusses reports and experiences of multiple owners reporting failures of Hyundai/Kia fuel pump failures. Abroad, I think there was a call back also in Hyundai/Kia cars for TGDI engines fuel pumps. Did you face that issue ?
Hi Bro, Few questions. 1.What about wear and tear and rattling if any. 2. I see interiors are beige are they difficult to maintain. 3. How is the cooling with this sunroof being there in Delhi heat. I'm planning to purchase HTX-Imt and it costing me 13.23lac on road... Is this car worth this price.
As of now my car is 3 years and 3 months old and I have driven 40 KMs already. No issues so far. For beige interiors I have put on seat covers of black and beige color and using 3M products to clean Cooling of Kia is outstanding Sir. So far even on 40 Degrees, if I set it for 23 and car is really cool. If all 5 people are sitting in the car, in that case i have to set it up at 21 Degrees. So far I have never put it's AC on lowest i.e. 16 Degree. I am a big fan of Kia and is a proud owner, I would always recommend this car in this budget.
@@flyrish Can you help with the average in city and highway ? And also have heard that the pickup is little jerky when we start the car in 1st gear. Can you confirm these things please, will be really helpful as I am thinking to purchase Sonet IMT 2024.
I purchased HTK Plus imt Sep-23. I want to know one thing i faced gear stuck issue twice and observed it only on the highway. Did you face any such issues where you feel jerk on gear 1 or 2. It got auto auto-resolved if you park the car for 5-10 min while keeping the engine on.
When u are on bumper to bumper traffic...try to change to neutral when ur vehicle is stationary..put first and if possible try to give small acceleration instead of crawling. When stopping, again change to neutral... Constantly changing to first and second causes this issue..
Sir, I would always recommend to change gear when you are not giving accelerator. I know the clutch is not there however, sometime I also developed habit of changing gears without leaving accelerator and that was the point where my gear got stuck 2-3 times. Now, I do not do this and change gear only after leaving accelerator I have not faced any issue like this.

@@royvipul01 Sir, Thank you for your comment. It’s a great choice as you are a beginner. Basic things about IMT is, it’s easy and fun to drive, very convinient. Just keep engaging gears as per the speed to get best mileage. In city and traffic, don’t expect mileage at all. It almost drops to 7-8kmpl

Hello Sir I am myself driving IMT for almost 3.5 years now. Driven 37000 KMs. No problem as of now and have not heard even a single case where gear box jams or any kind of problem related to it. It works really fine.
Yes, you are right I faced this issue within 4-5 months of purchase. I visited service center as well but they did find anything and want me to record video next time and sahre.

However, if you need power then go for Mahindra. Kia service is far more better than Mahindra as of now. IMT AMT me aapko thoda mileage kamm milegi, but ride comfort bohot hoga, specially traffic conditions me.
Sonet will give you all the features and extreme premium feeling, Breeze lacks there. However, Breeze can give you fairly good mileage if you compare it with Sonet.

Gave me insurance, 5 years extended warranty and 3 years maintenance free on preface lift. How is the deal .Getting overall 17+ city and highway mileage .feeling comfortable on driving seat. @@rataneshkumar2483 1000 km done 20 +over all , city +highway + hilly area. Diesel smoothness is best , go and test yourself . on highways I achieved 24 + on highway for driving 125 km. I rejected nexon diesel and grand vitara for many reasons . good to go .
