They chose to use their own butts because they didn't like how so many music videos exploit and objectify women, so they decided they wouldn't ask women to do anything they wouldn't do themselves. Chris Rupp came up with a list of songs, took it to Layne Stein from VoicePlay, who arranged it, then Chris and Adam finessed it a bit. Despite how silly it is, the vocals are still spot on.
This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level.
Yeah these guys used their own butts to not be called out for exploitation of women. The guy in the overalls dancing is Buegs...one of Rob's (bearded guy) best friends. He and Buegs have a really good podcast that comes out about twice a month called "The Avid Indoorsmen" and they review movies & TV shows...often have on members of Home Free or other folks as guests. If you catch one with Tim Foust he is excellent at the trivia game they play.
Who needs instruments or a DJ when you have Adam? He’s an amazing beatboxer. He has a video on RUclips called Adam Rupp Drum Solo. The boys are crazy and I love them. The guy in the overalls is a friend of Rob’s (glasses) and is in some other videos of theirs. This is just too goofy and still sounds wonderful. Good reaction Tex.
These goof balls are hilarious beyond a doubt. They sing, they perform and they make you laugh all the while having a good time." Check out Home Free Undivided, My Country 'Tis of Thee, One Man Band and Bless the Broken Road
If you enjoyed Adam Rupp's beatboxing...you will flip with "Adam Rupps's Drum Solo"
I'll check it out. Thanks!
