Thanks for the videos at Van Nuys. My father flew a B-25 into this Airbase in 1945 and had to dodge Antolopes and Deer on the dirt runway! He fell in love with UCLA after the war and became a Teacher/Football Coach /Principal for LAUSD but kept his plane at Whiteman and VanNuys through the yrs. I soloed at VanNuys in 1976 at 15 yrs old in a Cessna 152. That Airport is the bussiess in the world now with all the private and commercial aircraft there now!! Thanks for filming.
