US Probes into China's Maritime, Logistics, Shipbuilding Industries Outright Protectionism

China is strongly dissatisfied with and firmly opposes the United States' Section 301 investigation into China's maritime, logistics, and shipbuilding industries, said a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman on Friday.

Yes that is why the US is declining.
The US Congressional Research Service published a report in 15 Nov 2023 in which it found in 2020, 2021 and 2022 US built 4, 3 and 5 ocean going ships annually. The figures for China were 1,216, 1,708 and 1,794 respectively. One would have thought the Americans would want to find out why US build so little and start to build more. No US has no intention to do that or to find out its own shortcomings but to put a halt on the progress of China.
US does not want to develop itself but uses all its resources to "contain" other countries from developing. How stupid can that be? This sort of behaviour unequivocally proves US has already reached its own limit, further development is impossible and the only option is to prevent other countries from developing to their own potentials.
