People keep talking shii about this. Can't we just appreciate that fact that they did what they did because of their kindness despite of the numerous circumstances? That girl whose hijab fell off, whatever the reason is that she's wearing it, THAT'S NOT THE POINT. Those girls who covered it up, stop criticizing how people call that as feminism, THAT'S NOT THE POINT.
The point is that we're brought by the world from different paths and the best that we could do is respect people.
Exactly. Ppl over here ranting about how Islam is horrible and why should a hijab matter- just don’t. They did an amazing thing when helping her- especially with all the Islamaphobia around here. Justina Ross Once muslim/islamic woman go through puberty it is highly encouraged for them to start wearing their hijabs (hair covering) and niqabs (face coverings however not everyone does the face covering! it’s their choice (; ) Therefore males are not allowed to see their hair or face. So when her hijab fell off it is usually awkward and they feel exposed. Just a reminder it’s THEIR choice completely, it is not forced to wear a hijab the choice is between them and Allah (god) 😊

I love how the girls who helped are not wearing hijabs themselves. They have enough respect for another’s culture/religion etc that they know its not right for that to happen and they know its because only some can see her without it and they know they can help by shielding her with their bodies. Hijab enhances your value, never makes you old fashioned
I guess my value isn't enhanced until I wear a hijab. I'm so glad there's a quick fix to enhance my value!!
@@angiet7380 You cannot give enough ups for that :)
The Hijab was originally worn (in the time of the prophet Mohammed) as a means to ward off potential rapists and molesters. Over the years, the original message may have been misconstrued to suit the times.
Hijab also refers to the general covering a woman wears when traveling abroad.
It's not an obligation. It's a choice.
@@ashleighorange3721 Close, but no cigar. It is MANdated in Qur'an twice (24:31 and 33:59). Yes, 'revealed' 1400 years ago, those two ayat have not been abrogated, and the only 'choice' Muslim women have had since is to comply--or not (think Iran).
@@fredschwarz9502 Arabic is a vast and deep language. Many different words could potentially mean the same or similar thing. Some messages get lost in translation. For instance, there is mention of Khimar, not hijab. Hijab, is not a head cover, khimar- a "shawl" like garment- is used to cover the head as well as breasts.
The whole thing of wearing the hijab is for modesty, normally in my daily life whehn I wear a hijab and cover my body, other kids my age would normally ask my religion out of interest, sometimes boys would ask why do I cover my hair or if I have any at all, and in Islam we are all brothers and sisters, but still, we cover.
Even if the other woman may not follow the Islamic religion, I think this shows a great example of sisterhood in Islam and other religions. 👍
Please educate me, because I truly want to know: what is immodest about hair?
@@tsukuyomimodo The Hijab isn't solely to cover the hair, the Hijab is like a veil, so that is covers what most men would look at a women to judge but instead insists they look at character and what's beyond physical beauty. But it depends, but if you wore the Hijab you'd mostly see that it also covers the back and the chest of a woman.
@@reesiereese9454 but in this, it didn't cover her face?
@@tsukuyomimodo There is a specifically made item to cover the face and it's called a niqab or even a Burka which also covers the face. But you do not have to wear them. But even as I say the hijab is to cover what most men judge, a part of that is also natural beauty as well. I should have made that clear, it isn't forbidden in Islam but it is forbidden for a woman to wear makeup to attract attention to her face. But sometimes, hair by itself could also change one's views of another. Because it may not be to your liking. Now if a woman is judged by character for the most of it, that is what the hijab would push most of your attention to.

Not everyone covering their hair is oppressed, and I can tell you from personal experience it really is a modesty issue. I live in the USA. Before I covered my hair I received much unwanted attention from men. Ever since I went back to covering my hair about 5 years ago, the unwanted attention ceased immediately.
Its a shame when women are forced into covering, but it's also a shame when we are judged for not wanting men to hit on us. As a Jewish woman, I, of course, have my own private opinions of Islam. Regardless I find this to be a beautiful example of women supporting women, not a promotion of female oppression. Women understand...why else would many of us spend so much time and money on our hair if it's not sexy or powerful???
Woman to Woman it’s unfortunate that woman have to go to such extent. Man should be taught how to respect a woman and to control their sight.
It’s the condition of man to fall so easily to sin and it’s pleasurable insistence. Only through God can we have self- control in the midst of lust.
I’m here in the states and I have always asked myself why does a woman have to submit or opt to take certain actions. My Christian belief is very different,
Roberto Santibanez As a Christian it always confused me that men are supposed to protect women, yet they have to take insane measures so men won’t do anything and stumble
Because we like spending money on hair? Even if you're living alone in the woods, there are things you will do just because you like them LOL
I'm a Hindu girl brought up in a very liberal home. I'd started wearing a scarf to cover my hair from dust during my college days as I'd had to commute a long distance in public transport. The scarf weirdly gave me a sense of comfort and security at that time. I felt like i was invisible to the public eye and at that point in my life i really enjoyed that feeling.
Respect ladies... I am certain that your parents are proud... These five girls brought tears to my eyes. Bravo ladies.!!!!

i just love this
Everyones making a mockery and not acknownledging how completely and utterly beautiful this is❤
Are you suggesting that her body should be looked at by anyone and everyone then why don’t you go around naked with no shame
@VIII Maus It's her religion. If she didn't believe it was the right thing to do, she wouldn't wear one. This is very beautiful.
@VIII Maus She's not being treated like an object, the exact opposite actually. Also, I reiterate, it is her choice to wear a hijab or not, whilst religion isn't an excuse to be treated a certain way, she has every right to make that decision for herself.
@VIII Maus You are incredibly dense.
@VIII Maus I hadn't "admitted defeat", I just realised that my time was better spent elsewhere. A hijab isn't a symbol of oppression. It is a symbol of religion. Just because in some extreme cases women are oppressed through the use of hijabs, doesn't make it "a symbol of oppression". She is allowed to express her religion however she wishes to, and in this case, she is wearing a hijab. She isn't "normalizing" oppression. In fact, by choosing to wear a hijab, she is completely disregarding any oppression by making a decision on her own.
TLDR: You are incredibly dense.
I cry everytime 😭😩 just makes me so happy that people can still be so kind to one another.
Love this, you don’t need to agree with there religious views or understand them fully. You just need to understand when a human believes in something so strongly, you should support them when things like this happen regardless, because kindness doesn’t rely on religion. ♥️👌

It’s like if your pants fell down while out in public, it’s that level of “OMG, I’m exposed”
They believe they will go to hell if their hair or skin is exposed to public. Strange mentality but one we must respect
This is a serious question & I do u understand that the hijab is worn for very person reasons, but the woman looked really upset like she was crying or something.
Is it because her hijab was falling off? I ask because 1. It didn't come all the way off 2. She just seemed really upset.
Thanks much love.
I think she was just trying to cover her hair as much as possible. To my understanding, When a Muslim woman is unmarried she is supposed to keep herself covered, hair and all, and a man is never supposed to see it unless it is her husband, or family (I think just father and brother(s) but I don’t know for sure). Other Women can see but not other men. It’s a very important aspect of their religion. So I don’t think she was crying, I think she was just doing her best to cover her hair as fast and as much as possible. That’s why the women huddled around her - so cameras and the audience couldn’t see her hair while she fixed her hijab.
