It's always windy out in those parts of town. So we had to pour a low slump with a dry subgrade. Didn't want a dry surface while the inside of the slab is wet. Funny thing is the wind died down some while we poured. Allowed us just enough time to get that picture frame pattern. I really wanted to do checkerboard but it just set up too fast for that.
@@jmconcretecoloradosprings yeah I get it. It's was windy in my vidio to that I'm posting tomorrow u will see. I wasn't hating. It's always better to have more help than not.
great job ,when U tie the reo tie it diagonal tie every bar ,but only tie every second row ,U will tie it twice as quick ,that is how we do large jobs ,nice work.
Tie 1 yes then 1 no the 1 yes? I never thought of that. Problem is this Fiberglass rebar moves a lot. I might try that on a smaller job. Thanks for the comment and support.
Damn homie, I don't know how you bigger channels do it. I can barely handle a video a week. Keep it up. Im waiting for that mile long wall video that you will eventually post.
@@jmconcretecoloradosprings ohh ok. Yeah we use a string and a tape. Same idea💡. Like the idea of teaching new guys to screed. Tomorrow I'm dropping a bad ads vid bro. Anyways great video
Thank you for the beautiful piano music, very nice. Patio turned out great!
Thank you, the piano is very relaxing. Glad you enjoyed the video. It was a very straight forward project. But it was still a huge patio.
Yeah u got to have plenty of help for that type of pour looked amazing great video Joe. Good call on all the help. And a good low slump. Great work

Can I ask why u guys grade like that instead of w a string jw brother. I will probably have another comment 😆
Grade the base with a string? Usually we do it like it's concrete. It comes pretty close and gives newer people a chance to learn how to rod and muck.
