- Oh my, I finally took the plunge and bought the iRestore Professional Hair Growth Laser System. I've been looking at different types of hair growth devices for a couple of years. My plan is to keep everything the same for at least 6 months. If my results are favorable, I'll rely on the iRestore device and quit using the hair growth products. I started the IRestore right before the pandemic so I didn't go to my salon for about a year and a half. My stylist was amazed at the difference in thickness and asked what I had been doing. I use it without the battery every Mon Wed Fri with my first cup of coffee. Relax and watch RUclips.

I lost a lot of hair after I had Covid. I bought the iRestore and used it 5 days a week with special shampoo conditioner and serum. My hair came back as thick as ever. Sure hope you are continuing to improve, Teresa. Yes, if I changed up my shampoo, and too their vitamins I wouldn't be able to the LEDs & Lasers improve the thickness of my hair. I don't like it when "additional" products ($$$) are recommended. But, you know me, lol. Hate to hear you are still losing hair. Jim lost so much hair after having 2 sugeries 6 months apart. I just purchased the Omnilux face mask last month. I could tell that it was really helping my 75 year old skin! I’ve had to temporarily stop while I heal from upper and lower blepharoplasty! I think the helmet would be a great addition but for now definitely out of my reach! I’ll be interested to see what you think of it though! Blessings! ❤

I'm excited to hear how the iRestore product works. I really hope it works. I've been using castor oil smudged in from time to time for a night or day/night, and at night on my eyelashes and eyebrows, and it seems to be helping, although I have been needing to clean out my brush nearly every time I use it. I totally agree about the LED Mask. I just love mine and find myself wearing less makeup because my skin is looking so much better. I am nearing two months ( started Sept 10th) of the Current Body Hair Helmet. Like you, I struggled with taking photos and I can see what the camera can not see. I like your thinking I just want to see what a product can do with out all the add ons. It’s simple does it do what it says it will do.

Mary Ellen, I started adding two scoops of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (blue container - Costco) to my one cup of coffee every morning. No taste, no change in texture in the coffee. Mary Ellen, your resolve to combat thinning hair is encouraging, especially the lengths and expense you are taking. My hair continues to thin, mostly around the temples. I'm currently experimenting with Aloe Vera. There are no conclusive studies showing Aloe helps with thinning hair. Although some who have experimented with Aloe have seen results. I use Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray, which contains Aloe Vera, and I've noticed my eyebrow hairs growing in. I might try the Moisture Surge on my temples and see if I achieve results there. You look great. I am 72. I bought an LED red light mask a few months ago after doing my own research very well. Dermatologists recommended NOT to get a flat silicone mask, so I decided AGAINST Omnilux. After much research I bought the hard mask by Cleopatra. It's wonderful and I am loving it. It not only has red light therapy, but 8 colors. (I only use the red so far). You have 5 different strengths as well. The only down side were the hard plastic eye protections which were horridly uncomfortable. I got rid of those and got myself some LED goggles which are cheap and perfect. The mask has self timer. I got a great deal on mine. I have battled hairloss for many years and it's caused me so much emotional pain over the years. I tried everything out there, Rx and otherwise to no avail. The hair restore helmet is NOT affordable for me. I DO do microneedling on both my face/neck as well as my head with the punch method, using the wonderful Dr. Pen, and I highly recommend that.

My mother was not a vain woman, at all. When she started loosing have in her mid 60's it really bothered her. My hair is thinning drastically on top. I tried the HairMax LaserBand for 4 months and saw no difference. So now I'm trying oral minoxidil and I feel like I'm getting new growth. Will determine by end of year if I want to continue. I don't find these hair journeys nearly as fun as make-up and skincare device journeys. Look forward to hearing your update on the iRestore!

Thank you for all the information. I’m using Dr. Shapiro’s 2% Minoxidil twice a day, morning and night; and Sephora Strenghtening Hair Serum at night, before bed. I be stopped dying my hair about 6-8 months ago, because I kind of gave up on trying to look younger, plus my hair was (and still is regardless) falling off a lot, though one by one strands. When I wash my hair and comb it before using the roller dryer (I love it) I put a bunch of L’Anza Neem Plant silk serum to add as much grease as possible and my hair drinks it thatbu cannot tell I put on anything.
I notice that when I massaged my scalp w/my fingers, to help the products penetrate the skull, the hair fell off more, so I stopped the massage a couple of days ago and just press any product into the hair shafts.
Saw my dermatologist and she just smiled and told me that the re-growth is much slower now w/age, so I’ll just hav to accept the inconveniences that come with it.
My hair is extremely dry

You are so organized, have schedules that you adhere to, as well as being very consistent. Hey Mary ellen, I had that same mark on my forehead but on my box just just as I was opening it it did say that I could order a different sized pad if it was too tight or too loose and I went ahead and did that because I didn't like the red mark on my forehead. You know those things stay forever and it's hard to cover that up. Glad that one of your viewers informed you that you could change the size of your pads

Good morning MaryEllen! Congratulations to the winners!🏆 I'm very interested in knowing what the helmet will do for you. My hair started shedding like crazy over 25 years ago and never stopped. Luckily, it grows back (or I'd be bald by now) but it never reached the thickness I had before it started falling out. I actually dread washing my hair (which I do every 4 or 4 days too) because of all the hair that falls out when I do. 😢 If I could just keep the thickness I have and shed a normal amount, I'd be thrilled! I tired of using it without seeing any huge changes, but your video has inspired me to try again 🤞🏻. I started losing handfuls of hair in 2019. Oh MaryEllen, another great video. I too am having a problem with hair thinning. UGH! it's so upsetting. I use the Maysama LED comb but I use it dry and I don't know how it's doing. Forgot to take pics. I also put the Omnilux on my head for 10 minutes, when I think of it, but now I'm looking into having a small topper made to cover the crown. At 79 I probably shouldn't be bothered but I want to look the best I can at this magnificent age. Have a good week and good luck with the cap.

I am really interested in your results. I'm happy that you share your findings. Your hair looks lovely by the way. I'm 76 and my hair goes through periods of shedding then stops. I've seen the helmet but always thought the cost was prohibitive for me. Even at $200 for almost a year of testing (if it goes back) it's still pricey. I wonder what they do with their returns??? If you compare the cost to the cost of RL treatments at your derm, I'm sure it's a great deal! I know nothing about the company, but... read the terms of that refund carefully because sometimes the warranty is void if you don't use their add on products. My hair is fine an thin, lately the temples have bald patches. I took biotin..... but it only helped a little. But Gin Amber said dermaroll on wet hair only, and it's coming in really well. Can't really afford the I restore......but I've seen others use and I know it works.
