Lucid Gain would have been better with this build, it procs on Geyser Spout so you can spam it indefinitely.

@@JamesonGarner-h2g Omega cast explodes the moment you charge it, when your cast explodes, Lucid gain gives you 50 magic or more if you stand in it (which you basically always do if you use Sprout). So basically you never run out of casts as long as you don't overprime.

@@tatesmith4527 when u have this vow on, out of the 3 boon options u get, the 2 unselected wont show up again (u can see on this vid that they turn red before disappearing, eg 1:25 )
@@tatesmith4527 but u need to have defeated chronos already to get vow options, they make the runs harder just like in hades 1 with heat
Here's what happened with the Demeter Boon offerings:
1. took sprint, banished special and snow queen;
2. rare crop, banished attack and gale force,
3. Natural selection, banished frosty veneer and plentiful forage,
4. Offered 2 swaps....
didn't get offered cold storage because he had no freeze boon; didn't get offered weed killer because of no attack boon, didn't get offered local climate, because he had geyser spout I guess
Yeah it seems like because Geyser Spout makes Omega Cast activate immediately, Local Climate can't make it follow you?
oh it might be straight up incompatible with Poseidon Spout. sometimes boons are incompatible but you dont know until the fact

I think u cant have local climate and geyser at the same time, they take the cast modifier slot from each other
You can, there is no cast modifier slot but you can’t have 2 boons that have contradicting abilities except lightning lance and the gratis cast mofifier

@@lukasgalli i wouldn't say it is that good becsuse he didn't have any mana problems. 400 damage is kinda like eh. hephaetus special boon is that at base and poome few times is about as good as this entire build+ it has duo boons that support increasing its damage.
I have been loving this build since the latest patch! I always go for lucid gain and then you never have to think about magic. Then it also opens up sunny disposition.
I wish there was a selene curse that was just spawn ghosts since it is an unused mechanic that could fit quite well on the curse slot.
It coukd work as the pilon destruction attack
Trusty Shield Does work when you have armor. It adds to the armor you have.
I'm really shocked you didn't go for Lucid Gain. You weren't gaining any magick from Aphro because you never stopped channeling.
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but the fact that Phase Shift works on Chronos is ironic and hilarious.
i think you need an incantation for it
at the start it doesnt work, and he mocks you for trying to slow down time (as well as the arcana that lets you slow down time when charging omegas)
after patch 4, there's an upgrade/incantation that lets you overpower Chronos' time slow nullification. one for allowing you to Pause, one for allowing you to slow down time. Chronos gets pretty flustered about those.
27:25 - plugging in The Charismatic Voice. Elizabeth is a classically trained opera singer so she does vocal analysis (mostly) on known (or not always known) roch/hard rock/metal songs. She drills deep into vocal technique and also sometimes offers good insights on composition, along with the general bedazzlement classical musicians get when they see a 90k+ filled-to-the-brims stadium moshing to a "hit" metal song. Try her channel, you might like what you see.

Well, they'll probably nerf Mint Condition on the next patch, because I see a direct connection between what you are saying in your vids to the patch notes
To be fair though, one reason why we take mint condition isn’t just that it’s got good value, its also because the rest of them are a lot weaker I reckon. Hephy can feel a little underwhelming sometimes.
@@Mr_Sting he is super strong if you pick as opener. I'd almost argue that he is best opener for dagger. dagger has terrible clear and picking his attack or his special is probably best early game that dagger can get. you poome his boons. After that, you get choice between running special burn -> arctic ring for slow cooker for aspect of pan or appolo's legendary in the second zone. Picking appolos gives you benefit of getting duo boon that cleanses +200 damage on daze while picking hestia gives you the chain reaction duo boon. even his legendary is also good. i think it gives 200% backstab on regular dagger and extra daggers for aspect of pan. all that stacks super well for building burn or stacking it with appolo's exceptional talent.
Heph sits on a very, VERY peculiar power curve. His main damage dealers/Blasts are rather lackluster for more seasoned players, but is pretty nice for starter players who can only poke and run for a long time. But his supporting boons are rather insanely good.
Get a bunch of armor and nulls knockback.
Prime some magick to get a little armor each room (which effectively lets you get a one free hit against heavy damage dealers)
Be straight up invulnerable for 8 or even 16 seconds depending on rarity and level
Maybe he needs a bit of rescaling like how Hera's Born Gain was rather insanely OP back before it got nerfed. maybe mint condition needs Priming, or has other drawbacks, or just reduced duration. but we'll see?
@@Yasha_U uh no. if you run excellence and divinity which is epic rarity+rare rarity. the odds of getting heoric attack are very high alongside keepsake. i believe cooldown is something like 6 second primary and like 10 seconds for special.
with just 2-3 poomes, primary is 3 seconds. it can go down to 1 or 2 if you get to level 5. With appolo's duo that makes it deal +200 damage when clearing daze, you get like 400 damage every few seconds. with one of his boons, he can get like 50-100 damage extra on boon and it increases AoE.
I don't think heph offensive is good for staff, axe and torches because.... none of those weapons struggle with clear but it is pretty much the go to for dagger. The defensive boons are just + for dagger. Skull doesn't need clear and if it took anything, Zeus blitz is super easy to put on special+it actively goes for cast builds.
Is it a good idea to be able to reject boons? When you banish all those boons, sometimes being forced to swap boons really ruins the build...
Was going to say the same thing. 19:30 is pretty rough and feels unintended.
At the very least, if there are less than 3 boons remaining, "Gain 90 gold" should be offered in the empty slot(s).
The whole point of the oath is to make your life worse by choice, and Forsaking already has the upside of making it easier to get a particular non core boon
I mean, I've had it happen without forsaking as well. I ended up getting forced from born gain to tranquil gain, and it was literally the only option even after a roll. I don't think it's intended
Wows basically are meant to be a challenge and not a normal gameplay. Being forced is justified
@@chibi5694 It seems like a strange dynamic to me that if there's 3 boons left you only have to pick 1, and same if there's 2 boons left, but if there's 4 boons left then you have to pick 2.
I get the argument that "whatever is the most annoying is the way the vow should work" - it is supposed to be a challenge - but even with this vow, the game is still fundamentally about choices, and removing choice just seems wrong. At the very least, with 1 boon left you should be able to pick between boon or gold.
First time I used twitch was for Tip of the Hats, which started as a charity event run by Team Fortress 2 players to raise money for kids with cancer
They stopped doing it a while back, right before I could get a better job than Dairy Queen and actually want to donate :/
Lucid Gain + Heart Breaker makes this build goofy.

Sun Worshipper and Night Bloom sadly do not work together (might have changed in the last patch) as when you summon an enemy via Night Bloom it just replaces the Sun Worshipper summon kinda like how a new Night Bloom summon overwrites the older one. It's really unfortunate and I hope they fix that.

@LonninMori I've legit never seen sun worshipper summons die unless they are really bad mobs like the little dudes in fields, their hp/defense boost is usually too high. If they do end up dying then night bloom will summon a new mob regardless but since sun worshipper only summons one guy that doesn't really conflict with anything

do you play on Mouse and Keyboard?
Pretty sure if you take trusty shield it always adds 10 armour, and last time I had it I noticed that it applied any armour lost to that first. So if I had 9 from another source for a total of 19, and I took 5 damage, in the next chamber I'd have the full 19 again. Not sure if that got changed in any patch.
To be fair that was Mike Portnoy of Dream Theatre who had to learn Pneuma. He's probably one of about three people on the planet who had a chance at playing it after just one sesh.

You have to trigger the thing and then stay out of it until it reaches 0. After that you get transported again to oceanus but without the reward. It saves you quite a bit of time tho it really sucks when you actually want the reward
Is omega move speed the same as channel speed?
Not really no, not sure on the specifics, but I believe channeling is the charge up only, and the rest is counted as the omega.
