Thanks for the video I did it to my 2018 Nissan Maxima and no issues or problems plug and play. Totally worth $700 makes it looks a lot better with all LED now
You can replace the headlights but there would be about a 1 inch gap between the bumber and the light, you would have to get rid of the old front bumber and put the new one on in order to get rid of the 1 inch gap.
I have to replace one of my tail lights, I think I hit something while backing up. I will get the part from Nissan dealership, does the tail light come with bulbs. My bulbs work but the LED the surround the break light does not
Looks great but I can’t justify spending $770+ on tail lights even used on eBay they are expensive Plus I’m going to lightly tint mine this month I bought the strobe LED brake lights and Diode dynamics Amber anti hyper flash LED turn signals. Looks 5x brighter and 10X Bretter for $100 once there tinted not sure you could tell the difference
Where did you get those door lights and what modification did you do to your exhaust? I’ve been wanting to do a muffler delete for a while, I just can’t decide if I want to do that or have the shop weld on a different type of muffler.
Sorry I didn’t see your comment! I got the logo door lights on eBay. I currently have both mufflers deleted and had a shop put a smaller 12 inch resonator instead of the stock 24 inch resonator. I like the sound but there is some drone, after a while you get used to it. If I were you I would just start with the muffler delete then go back to the resonators that’s what I did. Hopefully I’ll have the exhaust video up soon!!
I have a 2017 maxima. If you have an 8th gen they will fit, so any year from 2016-2018. If you have a 2018, the new 2019 tails that I am replacing in the vid will fit
I was just looking at 2019 Maxima Platinums for sale, and with how much money it would cost doing the mods like updating to the 2019 tail lights and going full LED headlights and turn signals up front, and then adding the 19" SR wheels to a 2017-18 Platinim... For about the same $ or possibly less, I could just buy a 2019 Maxima Platinum which has those SR 19" wheels on it. I'd just add a factory rear spoiler if it didn't have one already. Man, those 2019 Maximas look sick! I'm definitely going to consider going that route.

Anyway, I had a modded '15 Infiniti Q50 3.7 Premium RWD that I wrecked after hitting a deer at 60 mph unfortunately. When I upgraded my rear turn signal bulbs to red LED, I had to buy and install hyperflash resistors. I didn't see if your Maxima needed them? IDK if the '16-18 Maxima had factory LED Rear turn signals? That's why I was curious... The only lights on the exterior of my Q50 that weren't LED from the factory were the rear turn signal and license plate bulbs. Both of which I upgraded to LED of course. Even the reverse lights were factory LED on my Q50. I'm thinking about buying a low mile 2017-18 Maxima Platinum and upgrading to the '19 tails like yours. I also would like to buy some 16-18 Maxima 19" SR wheels and possibly have the SR paddle shifters installed if possible? If not, at least you can still shift with the shifter like my Q50. I'd just buy an SR, but I love the features of the platinum like the rear shade, the dual sunroofs, full leather etc etc. Anyway, sorry for the long comment.
Hey man, the 16-18 do not have leds that’s why I did the upgrade. I love the Q50s they sound so nice with a good exhaust. As far as the wheels if you look at my newer video I have 20 inch Rohana Rfx 10s, is you join the maxima Facebook group you can find someone who’s selling wheels for sure

Anuar Hernandez If you want to put 2019 Headlights on a 8th Gen you will have about a 1 inch space between the bumper and the headlight itself. I personally would not like that but only way to avoid that is putting a 2019 bumper on. I also like how the front end looks on the 8th Gen.

2019 Nissan Maxima tails can get them online from bay ridge Nissan, that’s where I got mine, but I’m sure you can get at any nissan online part dealer

4 years later, these rear tail lights are now just under $300. Not bad.

the lights that go in the trunk do not need a resistor .. but those that go in the quarter panel to cancel the hyper flash
so do you need a resister or an adapter so the turn signals don't hyper flash?
Mines went in fine no hyperflash. I added LEDs for the reverse lights. My black ghost is niiiiiice right now

I have a 2017 maxima. If you have an 8th gen they will fit, so any year from 2016-2018. If you have a 2018, the new 2019 tails that I am replacing in the vid will fit

I don't think removing the 3 tabs in the corner compartment was necessary chief.
Does it hyper flash though with the engine running? I like the 2019 and up tail lights but I'd be worried about hyper flashing.
i dont have any hyperflash issues with the car running or off.
