Two little tips; 1. never glaze/spray or laque/polish the beetle with something, to 'protect' it, because that removes it permanently. And second, be aware that nailpolish will (if you extensively rub it) chip off again. So use paper with a pattern (youknow, paper with.. I don't know how the English say it. Paper that is not entirely smooth) and don't rub it/touch it too much, don't put it in between a stack of other papers that then will get shuffled and moved a lot.

Great tips! You must speak from experience 😉
Yes, I did the same trick with rocks, I think that might've been a tip I got from you as well? To put rocks in the iridescent nailpolish?@@Randomona
@Widdekuu91 yes! It's cool that you tried it out 😉
Im English, we often refer to rough paper as having "tooth". These are great tips!
so cute :)
Thank you! ^^
Love them! ❤
Thanks! ☺️
The iridescence really reminds me of the beetles I would catch.
Yay! Thank you 😊
Cool
Thanks! 😊
What sort of papers will work with this idea? Can black construction paper work ?
That sounds perfect! Pretty much any paper should work and thick paper is better 👍
