We drank the water there, straight from the stream, back in the late '70's. (Sigh.)
The drone footage of the waterfall was really beautiful. I have lots of good memories of that area. I may never get back there...so nice to see it again. Thank you for taking us along! Names out there can be tricky. It's Shah-SHOW-nee, Ab-sah-ROW-kah and Hah-JIGH-rah , a soft j, like jam. Hejira is another word for an Exodus. Thanks again Richie, beautiful work!

Your narrative, such a hauntingly sad story of people (Native Americans!) running away through such difficult terrain, the sinister determination of the "bandits" pursuing them, the music in the background and these beautiful areas, all of it touched me very much. Richie, you illustrated this tragic story in a masterful way! I really liked this beautiful hidden waterfall and the fact that thanks to the music you added, you led us to another world filled with peace. The areas you showed are so vast that they take my breath away. God gave you the desire to travel for a reason. He knew that during your travels you would reach the top of EVERY mountain and the bottom of EVERY valley and EVERY cave your eyes caught, creating unique experiences for millions of people that they would not even touch without your videos. To say "thank you" is not enough...but that's all I can do. THANK YOU!❤

Very beautiful autumn colours and landscape, Richie- the views are incredible. Sad story about the Perce Nez, but a typical one. We have been used to kill off tribal peoples around the world by the same Devils who are now erasing our own peoples from the face of the earth. And William 'Tecumseh' Sherman. Named after an Indian warrior who was killed by American soldiers who had invaded Canada. And so it goes... Thanks for the show.

I believe that's the real goal of our existence, giving thanks to The Most High for every day, meal, and blessing, of each moment and trusting Him prayerfully to make a path unto death. Finishing our race as Paul said so to speak. The road continues and gets much worse and will eventually climb over the top to "top of the world" area on highway 212. There is a little hill off of the paved road going in...before the turn for Clark...and before you turn into the canyon- it is on private land... but that little hill is where General Miles met up with some of the warriors from Chief Joseph's tribe and there was a battle there. "2 Thumbs Up" for this video. My daughter-in-law is ½ Nez Perce. Her father is full. Maybe next summer, 2021, we will drive up there from Colorado & take that trail. And I know what you meant by the smoke from the fires this past summer/fall 2020. We got that smoke here in Greeley, Colo. Thanks for this video

Great video Richie! I live in Idaho just 45 minutes from White Bird but on the opposite side of the Clearwater River. Lewis, Clark and Sacajawea walked the ridge across the road from my house. The History of the Nez Perce is all over this valley. I live within the borders of the Reservation. After you are done tracing the Tribe's steps up to Canada, you should turn West and come to Missoula then over Lolo pass and down the hwy 12 valley. You can trace Lewis and Clark's steps all the way to Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Wa which are at the confluence of the Clearwater and Snake Rivers. The Nez Perce have a museum you should visit on the way to Lapwai, pronounced Lap Way. It's a little town where a lot of the Tribe lives.

You've become quite a filmmaker, bro! Like it? That's not the word... I loved every minute of this. You
must continue! No way around it. Think of POSTERITY in light of these films. Don't denigrate yourself any longer. No sirree Richie. Not another second of your self-deprecating utterances.
Trust me. You have the talent do go forward into the fine art of film. Amen. Full Stop.

Great job. At 3:01- 3:15 the aerial footage does any body else see a face with flowing hair. All the facial features and hair seem to be green mountains. Nice change up Richie. Such a peaceful place.epic footage.
