  • The Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla long followed a seasonal round to hunt, fish, and gather food. Besides sustaining life, these foods carry great cultural and religious significance and are surrounded by ceremony. Bobbie Conner and Randall Melton of Tamástslikt Cultural Institute talk about traditional foods and practices and the importance of these ongoing traditions.
