Wilson's homemade camera

Wilson's homemade camera. The simplest Wilson chamber, in which nitrogen is used as a cooler. There is a sponge soaked in alcohol at the top of the chamber. Alcohol vapors condense upon cooling to form a mist when passing a high-energy particle, alcohol droplets condense to form tracks of charged particles. This is the basis for the principle of operation of the Wilson camera.
