Concerning zeal, a strong passion and desire for the things and the work of God, it's important to maintain balance as ZEAL IS NOT A FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT, but is a disposition of the natural man, the flesh (that is, you can be zealous about anything e.g., sports, travel, fishing, career, etc.). If not prayerfully careful, fiery zeal, even for the things of God, can override the gentle touch and leading of the Holy Ghost. Remember Paul's "...heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved. (2) For I bear them record that THEY HAVE A ZEAL OF GOD, BUT NOT ACCORDING TO KNOWLEDGE. (3) For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." Rom. 10:1-3. They remained ignorant and in error all while having a "zeal of God".

How are the oneness theologians doing with rewriting the gospel of John to remove all the clear distinctions of three persons in the Godhead? How are they doing with their failure to accept both the oneness of God and the threeness of God? Paradoxes are always easier to deal with by denying half the truth.
