ZhiYun have some new LED key lights that compete with Amaran 100d and 60d.. Theyre super small, theyre super bright, and you can power them with USB-C.. Here is my Molus G60 - 60 watt light and X100 - 100 watt light Review.

Really enjoyed this. And I have to say, personally, I always think more of a RUclips creator when they acknowledge that someone else has already covered a particular aspect of a product (as you did here with Gerald Undone). Good overview of these lights with solid demos. I bought the X100 and love it so far. Need to do more with it.
Thanks! And yeah, Ive actually used my x100 as a work light more times than as a video light. But it's VERY handy to have something this powerful be battery powered to just grab to put under the hood of my car, or use to look in a dark corner of the warehouse. But also toss in a camera bag for travel. Im happy with these - even if theyre a little expensive.
You deserve way more subs! Thought you were a big channel. Everything looked really clean, aesthetically and your humor is on point.
thinking that Zhiyun is a low budget alternative is insane. The weebil s is my favorite gimbal ever, even stacked against the DJI ones
No, yeah.. I was just completely wrong. I have no idea what ever gave me that impression previously.
Bought the G60 last week and learned two things I didnt know today from watching this vid. I wont say what to avoid embarrassment but Im grateful lol
Haha, awesome; glad I could help!
Problem with them is being too expensive to what's available in the market. Colbor at least make them too expensive as at the price of the X100 you can get a 220W light, or with less than G60 price you can get a 110W that is also powered through USB-C PD100. Might end up buying them as well for special use cases, especially that tiny softbox would be great for dark product/food photography.
I agree theyre quite expensive for the power output. But like you said, the super special use cases - as far as Ive seen, with their tiny size combined with battery power, theyre literally in a category of their own. Theyre probably not meant for the budget conscious - but for someone like me who wants the 'just in case' items of all kinds.
I got them to be a minimally viable lighting kit for a lot of plane travel video work I’ve been doing. They’re not a replacement for more permanent fixtures, but when weight and luggage size count these are killer awesome.
@@brandonwilson3507 exactly my sentiment. In fact, Im on a trip right now and theyre in my camera bag just in case.
Good video, but PLEASE get that boom mic out of the scene! 🤦🏽♂️
OMG, I thought I was the only one being bothered by that boom 🤦🏻♂️
