We were not separated during the interview. 😊 The lady officer was very nice and sweet!! She only asked us basic questions and some yes/no questions from the I-485 form. She didn't ask me for a new medical examination form.
Our interview went very easy and smooth, but everyone will have a different experience - it's a case by case basis. Just stay positive and come prepared.

It was super useful to see this video before my interview. We dressed up so formal, like if we had a job interview. Although my experience was so different than the ones I’ve heard about. First, I am the applicant and they didn’t interview my husband. Even though I was so nervous about it, I just breathed and took the control by acting just like I am: 100% RELAX 😎 It was only the Officer and I. She only asked me about my contact information and I don’t know how we ended up talking about trips recommendation and that was it! We prepared tons of documents, pictures and videos about us but she didn’t ask for them in the interview. At the end she told me: See you in three years for your citizenship test. That made me feel so happy!
Since we sent the i485 until the interview (in Covid-19 season) the whole process took eight months. But I do give the credit to this video. Thank you 🙏

Nov 14- interview scheduled.
Dec 13- appeared for interview and officer asked 2 or 3 basic questions and approved.

We both wore t-shirt and it only took 10 minutes for our interview together. We are blessed to have a Filipina co nice lady to interviewed us. We filed our petition by ourselves. I will do my first time vlog next year on how me and my husband's papers started since we filed for my spouse visa. We got married in the Philippines.

Ma'am Good Afternoon/Good Evening
Ma'am What if there was a typographical error on the address of my husband how do i start. for example they ask me about my name? and i tell my fullname . you think ma'am its better to correct/insert right away the address even if they didn't asked about the address of my husband ma'am? Need advice ma'am
Based on my experience, the officer asked us for our current address during the interview and she made sure she got it right. You can wait til your officer asks you for your address and from there you can correct it. You can also try calling them.

To tell the truth right before we walked to USCIS office I watched your video and left our phone in the car.
The interview went so perfect luckily the person was fantastic so honest; very clear, no drama, no complicated questions ;all about the reality questions I loved the person who make us interview or who give us interview He is really fantastic; fabulous man! The result was so good and I received my green card 10 days later which is miracle🙏 so I would love to say thank you more and more again it's really helpful video you guys make.

Hi Celesty, Big Shout to you, i came across your video before my interview & it did helped me so thank you for that.
i would like to share my experience for others here.
i had to wait wait for 2 long years as my interview was schedule in 2020 & took place in 2022 (thanks to pandemic), so our interview was very smooth it hardly lasted for 15-20 minutes, the immigration officer was very nice, she just asked for the documents which has not been submitted before, so we had our Mortgage statements, Bank Credit Card statements, 401k beneficiary, medical insurance & Income tax returns i always have a habit to labialized each document with a sticky note so it makes easier for officer to pull up the information they want to verify & ask ( i recommend everyone to labialized your documentation). She only asked few questions to us which was Marriage date ? Current address ? how long we were married ? where we met ? how many people attended wedding ? how long we were in relation ? And do we any question for her ? Officer did not even separated us during the interview, it depends on case to case. And in last she just mentioned everything seems to be good on your file & you shall be receiving you permeant Green card in 2-4 weeks we just need to run you background check before we issue green card. And that's it, it was way smooth then me & my wife expected did not even ask for any pictures although we had it ready for her. we did not even had attorney because we did not thought it was necessary for us, We had everything ready for the officer & we had nothing to hide.. only tip is don't get nervous during your interview, dress well, appreciate their time, don't cook up unnecessary stories for no reason, they can easily figure out that, & if by mistake you give them a wrong answer or anything like that go ahead & tell them its a mistake from your end & explain them what you actually meant rather then adding up a fake stories..
And yes i received my permeant Green Card in a week.

@@xvstudio490 i got approaved!! Thank you for asking; it was about 15 mins interview, and they didnt even ask anything to my husband! She( the officer) was satisfied i guess with the photos and letter from my pastor I submitted...

I’m also under c9 category from B1 visa. My interview is very soon. Just want you to know that I had a very bad headache for overthinking, after getting the letter. It was a mixed emotions. I appreciate you guys making a video about your interview journey. It’s a relief. My husband is not as good as me when it comes to memorising all the dates and name of people. So that’s a worry for me. But I trust my husband. Pls wish me luck, it ain’t easy tho. Congratulations to both of you!

I had my interview last Feb 4 and that day they approved my removal of condition- 10year GC. Like you guys, we stress ourselves so much before the interview and my actual interview last only 3-5 mins. We brought all our financial- documents with our names on it- 2 income tax (2018,2019) life insurance policy beneficiary, IRA beneficiary, Bank account beneficiary, Deed, timber logging contract, etc.

Weird thing for us - the bank adamantly would not allow my wife to open an account or be added to my account unless she had a valid US ID of some sort. We escalated this from the bank officer up to corporate on the phone. Her Malaysian passport and identity card were useless. I do not understand how this couple could have had joint accounts. This young lady must have had some special kind of visa.

We were notified exactly a week after the interview and I received my green card a week after I received that notification. Best of luck to you!

I brought copies of the evidences that I initially submitted with my application just to make sure plus the most recent evidences as well. 💕

It’s two month now that I did my interview I’m still waiting for the answer I don’t know why it’s taking so long
Good video. You should mention the green card journey is not over yet. This is only 2 year GC. In 2 years, you still need to do I-751 which you will have to prove your marriage all over again. and they can revoke your green card if they find something they don't like. so always continue to collect evidence.
