Ruffa indeed paved the way to a lot of new beauty queens. She is an icon and Ruffa until now maintained her beauty and poise. Such a class act. Love you forever Ruffi!!! ❤
I remember on an interview back in 2009 when Ruffa was asked what was the first thing she did that made the people and media notice her (in Sun City, South Africa, Miss World 1993 host country) is that she ordered milk instead of champagne at the bar. Classy and sophisticated, indeed.
Watching from Vancouver,BC🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 basta ang masasabi Sir Adam si Ms.Ruffa ang kaunaunahang nagpa-shutdown ng Faculty office at Class sa school nmin at pinatahimik niya ang School Compound kasi lahat nanood sa kanya sa laban niya both genders joined to watched that time gandang ganda sila kay Ruffa noon❤❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
During BB Pilipinas 1993 Dindi G won best in Swimwear and best in EG, however she failed miserably in the Q and A, she also won several other sponsor awards. Ruffa on the other hand didn't won a single award, however she's overall the best that time. Many insiders believe Ruffa was the best that night (bb pilipinas '93) however madame stella sent her to Miss World because of two reasons: 1) to promote the Miss World brand , which is a new franchise in BB Pilipinas, 2) she has hopes the if we sent the best in MW, the Philippines has a good chance to win, since we never yet won Miss World that time I really wonder what could have happened if Ruffa was sent in Miss Universe '93, especially the upcoming Miss Universe 1994 would also be held in the Philippines. Could she beat Dayanara Torres and Milka Chulina?

Been wanting to get Theresa licaros here but she couldn’t appear because of the nature of her work as a lawyer that prevents her from appearing on anything on social media. Also, she is based na raw in HK so mahirap talaga to get her. GIONNA Cabrera naman has turned down my request to go for an interview with me: d lang daw niya feel.
I watched Ruffa G. and Cara Subijano’s interviews with you. Both of them were really intelligent and exciting to see and hear. Full of substance. I respect Gionna’s decision, maybe she has some items about her experience that she may feel much better buried than discussed. I hope the likes of Maria Isabel Lopez and Pebbles De Asis appear on your channel. Ms. Lopez is a potential interesting conversationalist, and Pebbles is quite inspiring with her stint, she should have joined the year after (when Thailand won, well, just wishful thinking).
pumunta talaga sila ng Brunei to perform for the prince. Maraming rin kasamang artista. inamin naman ito ni tita Anabel. wala naman silang ginawang masama doon.
@@feiersachiak3 If not then how would you explain Ruffa went to Brunei in late 1992 and two weeks later she returned home to the Philippines and shes 1.2 million dollars richer? This was published in a tabloid back then
Sharmaine Ruffa is a Queen, who really wants to be heard by the world. She has 2 things a lot of Miss Philippines do not have, a view point and an ego devoid of any false humility.
Ang baba ng standards ng Pinas. Walang impact ‘yong Ruffa Gutierrez. ‘’Yong kalaban niya sa Miss World, isa nang high-ranking well loved official in Jamaica. Si Ruffing, ano? Hamonadang aktres pa rin. May advocacy? Waley

Miss Ruffa G made the Miss World popular to the Filipinos

Ruffa G always shines on any platform. In her time, she was also a trailblazer in pageantry, putting Filipinas back in the spotlight.

She did take care of herself and her body. She wouldn’t be as successful right now if she didn’t.

Back then in the 80s and 90s it's a big advantage if you're already an actress before joining
