I'm the same way. Went through abuse and neglect as a young Samoan kid. I'm grown now but I'm a quiet person because of the trauma. I have a 4 year and I'm so blessed to say he's nothing like me. He's so outgoing and fearless. Safe to say he'll never go through nothing I did.
What an incredible person Mark is. He had such a hard start in life and got involved with the wrong people. Turned his life around and is a credit to his country, community, family and himself.

Your strength and resilience to manage your past and talk openly about your experiences is the biggest win of your career. There is a parenting crisis in Australia and that shows in youth doing serious crime. This man came out the other side and is a father himself and everyone could learn from this story, the coppers the courts and DHS. We should all take our hats off to our most mumble champion
