It really depends, Sikkim is on the expensive side, the standard of living here depends on an individual. Groceries are expensive, rents also expensive, taxi fare is also pretty expensive. We started living on our own since a year ago and it’s still very hard to adjust, we grew up here not knowing much about the expenses cause our parents were the ones paying but now that we’re the ones paying we’ve come to the conclusion that having a certain lifestyle is actually pretty tough to sustain here. If you’re someone earning a good amount of money per month then this place is beautiful,peaceful, clean, not a lot of people bother you if you remain aloof from the society. It’s pretty chill.
