  • In this video, we will calculate the area of the triangle, but this is not a geometry problem - this is an ALGEBRA problem. We must find a way to utilize the given conditions involving three side lengths of the triangle (a, b, and c). We will use some useful polynomial identities involving terms like a^2+b^2+c^2, (ab)^2+(bc)^2+(ca)^2, or a^4+b^4+c^4. Sounds familiar?
