      These people are not our problem. With a global pandemic, shut the border down, and round up and deport all illegals. We have to take care of our own not the world. It is thievery to expect the American tax payer to take care of these people. Every dollar to them is a dollar stolen from Americans.

    I live near LA. We have SO many homeless here and it's very sad. We should help out our own people first before we help other countries. USA First!

      atleast immigrants want to help themselves. most homeless americans are just lazy and want even more handouts. try giving a homeless guy in america 20 dollars. he will likely thank you and continue to ask for more money.

    I'm all about helping people in need but I live in N.y and were are overflowing with illegal immigrants...there are many who come and want to work and provide for their families...but there are many more who dont and take advantage of the welfare system and abuse the privilege of by being here by committing heinous crimes and cant be tracked... I often see people trashing the U.S physically and verbally which upsets me greatly....If I ran from a country of poverty and violence to a place of opportunity I would forever be grateful, contribute to the economy, show my appreciation in anyway I could and be proud to be in this country...Who ever dosen't feel that way should not be here.

    Why would the US want to import their problems? Poverty, MS-13, these are not US issues and no one wants them here. They could solve their problems with concerted effort to clean up their country but that would require them to take charge of their own destiny. They'd rather try to come here and let us take care of them.

    Asylum seekers are REQUIRED by international law to go to the NEXT CLOSEST bordering country where their life is not in IMMEDIATE danger. Not just a free pass to the USA because it’s obviously better than MEX or other American countries further south.

      Poland's government paints itself as right wing and anti-immigrant, but they have marked themselves out as smarter than Trump by allowing more migrants to enter than any other EU country.
      The idea that immigration hurts the economy is a myth. Look at the stats.

    I can't speak for all German people but most of the people I know think that he isn't fit to be a president.

      Most gang members are between 10 and 20 years old. If someone reaches 25, he’s already a veteran. 9 out of 10 get killed by rival gangs or by cleansing armed groups. More violence is far from being the solution, that will only worsen the situation. The solution is work with the roots of the problem: poverty and massive inequality.

    Why don't they seek asylum elsewhere? Why hop several countries' borders to go to the USA? Also, this is a single case, one of among a minority of cases where asylum is legitimate. How many of the asylum seekers are legitimate?

    A place to stay, food, warmth. And they don’t have citizenship yet we take care of them with tax dollars. I think they’re doing just fine where they’re at. What they shouldn’t be allowed to do is vote until they’re documented citizens.

    It is unfortunate to hear about what happened to these people. Nobody would know the full story except what is shown in the documentary, but the fact that they were taken away from homes to another place by force is just unfortunate. I hope the best for these people.

      Jacie Kelly “cleaning up” is not easy for these countries. If the people had control over corruption and incompetence in their governments, they would have done something already.     Asylum is DISCRETIONARY and to qualify, one must be prove persecution and that the persecution must have been based on at least one of five grounds: race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. Being a business owner or gang victim doesn't meet that.

    Instead of fleeing south of their borders. Flee north of their borders to those wealthy countries instead. One ☝️ country canNOT support and /or support the entire world. The USA 🇺🇸 give those countries Foreign Aid to build up their countries but it’s the fault of those governments that they don’t do it.Those citizens of those countries have to fight for their rights as citizens in those countries.

    According to the UN Refugee Law of 1961, she can only apply for asylum in the first safe country that is neighbouring her home country, which is MEXICO! If she wanted to come to the US, which she is welcome to do so, why did she not apply legally? I know lots of people who came from worse areas and made it to the US LEGALLY. Many of them managed to become US citizen as well!

      @@josephlopez5404 Yes I am pro second amendment! Part of the reason we are free hear in the U.S. is because people are allowed to own guns and defend themselves. Cold hearted is you. You want us to bring all the gangs here and put my family at risk so you can say your a good person. But a good person would help clean up there county so all there people can live in peace. Not just the people who escape. Think of all the children left behind. You don't give a crap about them. The chowards who run have a save them self mentality. So I will as well.
