Super Auto Pets is a cute free autobattler (like Teamfight Tactics) that is really cute and has some strategic depth. Give it a try, you may be surprised by how much it mooves you!
NL playing this game has taught me some valuable life lessons. For example, if I failed a test I won't just say I failed, I'll say I "failed with scaling"

I got this game last night, played it for what felt like 20 minutes and looked out of my window to see the sun coming up. Truly a work of art

I didn’t do exactly the same, but I thought only an hour or two passed while playing but it happened to be 5 hours straight. I legitimately felt like I only played three or four runs.

gotta have a hen with some egg related attack that freezes the enemy's next attack or prevent their own mechanic
A macaque that steals opponent’s item before attacking would be nice. Or perhaps a random item from the opposing team at the start of battle rather than the animal it’s directly fighting with, to make it less luck dependent. And it levels up to steal multiple.
And something to counter turkey/ram builds, perhaps a wolf that gets a buff for every unit your opponent summons.

If you have low lives there are a few builds that hard counter butterfly like skunk and leopard, so if you run into that it might be an instant loss.
NL's really gotta start putting a chonky boi up front instead of at the end. He could often go 3:1 with his big minion if his placement was better.

NL absolute refusal to build around the turtle and melon armor until now has been astounding
Nah it’s not. There are a lot of ways to build in this game, and as people we find what works and generally stick with it. NL is genuinely doing great, and if we want to see a lot of SAP we should be supportive accordingly.

Second goat means 6 gold per turn. Keeping swan is just 5. For a -1 attack to gain +1 gold is a win, especially when you can merge later for room

18:30 should've sold something (probably Dragon), bought snail, sold snail, bought snail, then either sold snail and bought T-Rex or kept snail for that turn for scaling purposes. Would've pulled out a draw on that last match. Also, earlier I would've sold the Mammoth for the Dragon; 2 triggers and it's already as good as having a mammoth. Granted, that changed when the Mammoth levelled up and got a 1-up, but there would've been no way to know that at the time.

Honestly pilling a turtle is rarely worth it, *especially* in the expansion pack. You lose badly to bats & snipes. In the base pack, Turtle Whale snake/kangaroo is really good, especially if you buff the whale's HP.
Also, speaking of the whale, here's a fun strategy; work towards a lv3 whale, and then late game you can use it to cheese a lv1 tier 5 or 6 unit into a lv3. My personal favorite is whale/mammoth.

Microbe Turtle is unbeatable
You Know, I Think I Love Super Auto Pets Because It's Like Isaac but it takes less time to get into the Weird and Wild Plays. Plus: Get into zany stuff in like 5 Minuets in Auto Pet's or 25 Minuets in Isaac, It's Unfair but it keeps the Interest High too.
Will someone please tell NL that bone attack works on every attack and not just once. It should go on high hp guys not one hit Marty’s
Sometimes on hit. Like a deer for destruction.
It actually shouldnt ever go on high hp units, due to a couple of reasons. First, the onion is always better on them. Second, if its a high hp unit, usually its also a high dmg unit, or, has enough damage to 1hit all the small units its facing. If its facing a unit that is also huge in stats, the +5 damage wont make a difference most of the time.
So this is actually one of the few things he's doing correct, onion on big units and meat/steak on ones that get one tapped for some hope of a trade. Again, your 1 hit units will die to enemy weak units too, so you want to try and at least get a 1on1 trade with them.
you want protective buffs on high hp units, so they last longer and therefore deal out more total damage. the low hp units are going to die quickly anyway, so it is better to give them some degree of usefulness and get a good hit in before they die
