Haha all part of the boot sale way! The more you go, the more confident you get with haggling, I don’t do it all the time, but it adds up to be a lot of extra money at the end of the day.
Gotta haggle and I agree, feels a bit cheeky at first but you get used to it plus it also depends how good the item is. If it's a steal and a nice chunk of certain profit, just pay for it and get it. But if the condition is questionable or needs cleaning etc... definitely haggle.
Exactly! It’s hard on here to show the condition of an item sometimes. So I may be haggling as it’s got something wrong with it I’ve seen but the camera hasn’t picked up. Always a reason, and only do it if it’s a fair haggle 👍🏼

I know you said the oxfords are not as profitable as they cost £20 and after fees there is not as much profit as a reseller would like, which is understandable, but its good that you still have them on your site as it just adds to the huge variety of items you might sell which will hopefully help to keep people coming back to look at your site. I like your try and learn approach, that is what I am trying to do too. Some nice items as always. I really enjoy your format, the mix of buys and sold and a bit of info on them as well as prices you expect. Thanks for that.😁

If you go on your settings in the listing and tap on require immediate payment if someone makes you an offer it comes straight from their payment method then you don’t get the unpaid offers witch is very annoying 👍🏼
Recently came across your page, its pretty interesting and your seem like a great guy. Do you get many people ask about your camera? Do you boot mostly weekends then sort the sales during the week? Assume you have some clips to maybe do a blooper/arguments/funny/story vid from the boots?
Not many people even notice the camera, but when they do they’re usually interested in the channel more than anything. Boot sale every weekend, sometimes mid week too! Tbh I don’t have many blooper clips 😂 maybe I’ll start saving them up
I had a similar problem with my car window not going back up,until i realized with the window down i had mistakenly activated the child lock,turn it off and the window worked fine!
All the resale prices ya putting up are shop prices, this is what I see on a lot of shows they buy things cheap then put prices yhey ate from new in shop when not gonna get no where near that

Correct me if I'm wrong but you're British not a foreigner. Personally I think it's quite rude that you would knock someone down from £5. And also they're just putting things out. Lot of us have anxiety, and people like you make it worse. I did a car boot a few a years ago, trying to raise funds for a grave stone and people like you made it so difficult, I only made £80 instead of the £200 (all new unused stuff that had been in my home 5+ years) that I wanted because people want stuff for nothing and like to put people on the spot. Rude. I get it some things are overpriced for second-hand stuff . But I find people like you, are quite intimidating at times 😢.

Haggling is pretty normal at car boot sales, I just catch it on camera. Also you don’t have to be a foreigner to do so. Also on the Anxiety front, many suffer from this, including me, car boots and RUclips have helped massively. Getting out in the morning, talking to people, all good for your health.
The people you meet is a big part of what makes these entertaining I think!
