I love that the son took in his Dad's dog when he passed. So many families bring deceased relative's animals to the shelter. I cannot understand how they can do that. That animal was a part of their relative's lives. Thank you for saving a life and giving him so much love. He is gorgeous!
I rescued a 17 year old kitty. Her forever mom had her 10 years, then passed away. The daughter lived with the mom, but had to move out of the house. The house was being sold to split the inheritance with her brother. She asked the brother to watch the cat for a few days while she physically moved to her new place. After a few weeks, the brother asked about her taking the cat back, and she said she would not be taking the cat back. The brother had a grandson that was allergic to cats, so the little old lady kitten had to be kept in his basement. But she is ultra snuggly, so that was awful for her. He reached out to the members of his church, noone could take her. He reached out to multiple no kill shelters, but they were all at max capacity. Then the shelter I used to volunteer for, sent out a cutesy email about grandma kitty, Gnarly, needing a home desperately. It was heart melting love at 1st sight. Of course I took her and she is now living a life of love, cuddles, and tons of cozy spots to nap. Not sure if I am allowed to post accolades to the rescue, but they are solid: Protectors of Animals in East Hartford, CT.
@@KrinchiD I appreciate your non-judgmental story about rescuing a cat after its owner passes away. Sometimes people just can’t be the caretaker of a loved ones’ pet

For anyone thinking of getting a beautiful husky, please, properly look into it and inform yourself thoroughly. Too many huskies are being given to the shelters, because their owners didn't realize how much energy it takes to raise these dogs. They require an enormous amount of exercises and that may not fit into the owners' lifestyles.
spot on. I live in finland. Here the huskies are in their natural environment - and can pull a sled and be comfortable outside. Theyre no herding dogs, theyre no "farm dogs" - in fact they have a strong hunting drive - and it is hard to get under control. They wil be friendly to humans, but that does not mean they will be easy to manage. It just means it is hard to make them bite you. Huskies are no handbag-dogs fulfilling some fashion dreams. And they certainly dont belong to california or hawaii. Huskies are energy packs and not ment to be kept in an appartment all day.
I agree, but would like to add that you should always research any breed that you are thinking of bringing into your home. And carefully consider whether you & your family are truly ready for the responsibilities that come with pet ownership.
Wish this could get pinned! So many people don't look into the requirements of lifestyle for many dog breeds. They want whatever dog they pick to mold into their lifestyle without even ensuring the breed's and specific dog's energy and training needs. Huskies are hilarious and adorable but require constant training and exercise to meet their instinctual need to work. They need mental and physical stimulation to feel fulfilled and content. Definitely not an apartment dog or a lazy bachelor dog.
That's an amen to that. I have a neighbor that has a husky, and see how she talks I can hear her almost everyday. I don't think they realize what they got themselves into adopting her. These beautiful animals require so much time and attention. And if you're not ready for them, is best to leave them to those who can really care for them
My late husband gave me a Siberian husky that looks identical to yours two weeks before he passed away. My babies name is Aries and his personality is full of life and super dramatic as well, his full of life soul has saved mine. Huskies are truly magical :)
NO! Don't fall for that trick... we got a pitbull (female) and I haven't gone to the bathroom by myself since. So we were told about a three-legged kitten that needed a home so we got him for the dog to entertain. One year later, I now have two animals watching me in the bathroom. Currently I'm looking for a goat, for the cat. Someday I'm going to go to the bathroom by myself.
Yes!! Huskys are escape artists who are easily bored and destructive when bored. Mine laid on the floor and effortlessly made a hole in the wall with his lower teeth RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! Isnt that fricking ADORABLE!!!?
I have a pomsky but turns out he’s not 50/50 he’s mostly husky. And at 6 months old he’s extremely overdramatic. If I say no, he cries yes. If I’m cleaning or something and he wants attention, and I don’t give it to him, he’ll purposely do something he’s not supposed to do. Like grab a piece of paper out the trash then instantly drop it on the floor and run away. He’s such a drama Queen
Its a work dog. And you didnt offer it enough exercise. Because youre another dumb ass buying a work dog for a casual pet owner. The reason it was acting "crazy" is because you didnt provide it with enough exercise. These dogs were bred to run long distances day after day. No shit its going to go crazy if it has to sit inside for 22 hours every day. 3 hours of running DAILY is NOT enough for a husky or a malamute. Think about that for a second. Can you exercise your dog for 3 hours daily, minimum? If not, do not even think about a husky or a malamute or a belgian shepherd etc
@@jamesdoakes4956 I had this problem with my parents Husky. After they went on vaccation, I bought a shock collar. Not one of the inhumane ones, but just one that buzzes and plays a very annoying sound around their ears. After the 3rd day, the family dog was almost perfectly obedient to a fault. He stopped barking at everything, stopped shitting in the house (yes he was trained to go outside but when he didn't get his way he pooped inside to protest) and stopped screaming when he didn't get his way. Parents have no idea to this day how I did it. I stand by the idea of discipling your dogs. Dogs aren't humans. They aren't children. They need to be told NO, what their boundaries are and punished when they repeatedly go over those boundaries. Any dog can be trained, it is usually 100% on the owners being push overs or bad people or just lazy for why they have shitty behaved dogs,
Yeah it’s pretty standard, there are some more docile ones out there, usually the bigger fluffier ones, but the skinnier ones are always rambunctious and overly talkative.
Oooooohhhh, yeah they do, but on a spectrum. Had a family of Huskies, the "dad" would not go on any car trip without his Meowmix cat toy - sheer yowling panic until it was found. The "mom" was very chill, the 8 puppies were a balance between them.
At our house we don't call them tantrums. We say "who's being silly".? They seem to know what we're saying because they get even more " silly". It's so cute.
because they are TALKING.. lol tantrum my ASS.... the headline was made for clickbait.. and they clearly didnt research what they were gewtting, after owning a Sibe for 12 years now.. probably the only dog ill ever want to own agian. best personalitys.
@@joedoe999 lol ikr! why does everyone seem to instantly assume a dog is trying to be "bad?" Never do people seem to say, *_"I don't speak dog, wtf is it trying to tell me? lmao, I'm such a ditz!"_* Dogs are universally polite, with few but reasonable and expected, exceptions.
I didn’t share my hamburger with my husky once, I always share everything, and he didn’t look at me for a whole week. He just ignored me. Like I was invisible. I hugged another dog during a pizza delivery and when I got home he smelled the dog on me. Same thing. He didn’t talk to me for a week. My 10 year old and him get along super great 😀 they’re best friends.
This video did something that very few youtube videos can do: it brought a tear or two to my eyes. From 1984 to 1997, I shared my life with a Siberian and during that time, I got really sick. Your dog... every single thing in this video, I lived through with Rebel. And during the three years that I was sick, that dog saved my life. I have hundreds of photos but no video. Your video is him.... he was red and silver but that's ok..... Thank you for this.
I understand! I'm so glad to know about your Rebel. Mine were Shepherd-Husky mixes, at different times of my life. They were the best, most unconditionally loving friends, and got me through very hard times. How I miss them. I dearly hope your health improved, that you are well. We carry their love, their intrepid spirits and the joy of their "antics" with us.❤
What you can't forget about huskies: they need so much exercise and stimulation. If they get it, it fixes their temper quite a bit usually. But really giving them a workout takes large amounts of time. There are sleds on wheels you can use for them to pull you around on. That satisfies them "faster", but tiring them out on a daily basis is quite the task
Which this family is lacking with, the lack of exercise gives attitude problems which this family calls “tantrums”… it’s really sad to see. That dog would have a much better life on a actual farm or somewhere they put him to work so he can get the workout needed daily.
@@NaeniaNightingaleno. We live on 43 acres, our husky gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation and she still has the husky attitude. It's just part of the breed.
The reason I got myself a pure husky is so I can run with it (my aunt’s Pomeranian huskies sound like their lungs are about to explode when I tried it with them). But right now in the puppy phase I can’t yet, so I’m really looking forward to when he turns a year so I can run with him. For now training for mental stimulation and exercise (short runs in the length of our fence) is enough to tire him out. Never get a husky for the aesthetics, it’s not gonna be aesthetic if they chew on everything in sight.
I love how talkative Huskies are. They can always bring a smile to your face even on the worst day of your life . I think they act even more silly if they can sense you are having a bad day. Thank you for being awesome Peace and love to you and your family 💙💚💙💚💙💚
Try living with one. The talking never ever ends. My Beau is two years old he goes everywhere I go and he love making noise. He talks nonstop and he very demanding.
I'm so happy that you decided to keep him after your dad passed. What a gift you both have. He seems like quite a character that will bring so much joy, LOVE and laughter to your lives.
What a great story! I love the fact that his new parents said they would never let him go because he was family- even after his dad passed. I hear way too many stories about pets being dumped at the shelter after the relatives pass…Jackson is certainly blessed!
Siberian huskies are work dogs breed to live in colder climates and not kept as family lap dogs, I wish people did their research before getting them but noooo. It’s as much abuse as anything else.
This fills my heart with joy to see a dog so well-loved. Jackson is super smart and a great communicator. I am thrilled to see his owners appreciate him and give him so much time and attention. Jackson ----- you're a keeper. (Sorry to hear about the Minpin's passing. It's so hard to lose a beloved companion.)
As far as I’m concerned they are using him as a family lap dog and that is completely wrong, they are work dogs. They love to work, they love snow so keeping them in warm climates is cruel beyond belief. I would like you to try walk around in a fur cot during summertime and we will see how long it takes for you to get a heatstroke.
@@NaeniaNightingaleactually we have lots of huskies here in the Nevada desert and they adapt very well. I call huskies the Marine Corp of dogs as they always Adapt and Overcome.
I have had two Siberian Huskies and can attest to the fact that they "talk" a lot. My first was a female and I had her for 12 years. I was her human and when I first met my wife, the husky would talk back and give her serious attitude. I would "translate" and say things like "you're not my real mom", and "you're not the boss of me". My second was a boy and looked so much like the one in this video. We adopted him from a shelter and they had named him Sky. We new we had to pick a new name because I didn't want to look crazy calling out "Sky" if he got out of the yard. We came home a few days after adopting him and he had destroyed seat cushions. I said it looked like the Tazmanian devil cartoon character had done it, and so Taz became his name.He taught my baby boy to share and was so good with him. I miss them both because they were the most fun dogs I had ever had.
Thank You for contributing your story 💜. That's the magic of a sled dog. Put plainly Siberian Husky • Samoyed • Japanese Akita • Nothing compares! 😉 Nothing 🐺
*@J.P* 🐺💜😺💜 My Husky is great with our housecats, too. His name's Vanilla 'cause he's solid tan (no Husky pattern, just all tan with matching tan eyes, instead of ice blue or dark mahogany) from being part Yellow Lab. Plus he has the straight tail of a Lab instead of the classic Husky "question mark." I've never met a Husky that didn't love cats & get along really well with them. They want to be everyone's playmate, or else their friend. A heart of gold; It's just that simple. One of our kittens has adopted Vanilla for her dad- - sleeps with him everytime he lies down! There are other dogs with these same qualities, & sharp minds, too. I'm just partial to sled breeds, that's all. Any member of the collies: collie, miniature collie/ "sheltie;" border collie, australian cattle dog, australian shepherd; finally: doberman; german shepherd; giant schnauzer
That last sentence: I love him and I’ll protect him always. I wish all human beings would do this for their dogs. (Not abandoning them or letting them go to another place or family if it means a better life for them).
I have a dog and I name her Cherry. I can’t see myself traveling anywhere as that would mean I have to place her at boarding while I am away. People said dog tends to get separation anxiety but I guess, I will be the one who will get separation anxiety instead. Hahaha!
Or maybe with people first. I dunno what it is about these channels that seem to bring out these nutbars who have more compassion and empathy for canines than they do their fellow man. Weird.
@@shogun0810 Oftentimes the way a person treats animals reveals a lot about how they feel about other people too. Someone who treats animals badly might put on a facade of politeness but actually not be compassionate towards people at all either.
I had a husky-German Shepard mix with the gorgeous blue eyes. He was a talker and tantrum thrower. I miss him alot. I wanted to say that we got an undercoat brush and my God, all the hair! I brushed him outside and I could of made another whole dog from the hair. He was the best dog ever!
Could have made another dog from all the hair 🤣🤣🤣😭 He sounds gorgeous and with such a huge personality! Bless you for loving him and I'm sure he misses you too ❤️
Thank you for adopting this sweet dog after your dad died. No doubt he would have grieved a lot longer if he would have been sent to a shelter and/or a new family. Animals grieve and become attached to us and want to be part of our families, and they bring so much to our lives. What a great story.
I’m convinced dogs can smell the DNA. Jackson knew from the beginning that this man was a relative of his former owner and that gave him comfort and stability.
Thank you for saving the husky!!! I am in my 60’s and we rescued ours. She was very abused as a pup. After a year and a half, she is really coming out of her Shell . At my age , she is a hand full. We wouldn’t give her up for the world!!!! Thank’s again for sharing him with us!!!
We lost our 13 year old husky February 2022. It’s been 3 months today actually. Husky’s are very intelligent but can be stubborn. She knew sign language so I could tell her to come and eat. Tala figured that out too quickly. Huskies need a lot of exercise or they get bored and will tear up things, have the zoomies, temper tantrum’s, etc. Thank you for sharing!
@@barbaracreel2777 They need to be kept outdoors more than indoors, need to have lots of space to run in and they were breed to be used as work dogs so you need to keep them stimulated or they will start tearing down everything out of boredom. Huskies are not lap dogs, if that’s what you are after then don’t ever get a huskie and do proper research or become one of many abusers which we all hates.
Thank you for the rescue! The behavior is typical for huskies! Major tantrums (constant). I had one for years. Whenever I combed her out, a lady asked for the fur. (?) She told me she was going to spin it into yarn! Then knit it into scarves, sweaters and toys! Find your local crafts people and ask. She was also great in the winter, we’d put her harness on, get on a sled and she knew instinctively to pull. She’d prefer to sleep outside (in the winter) I’d find her in the backyard with a snow drift over her back- she LOVED it. Hope you have many years with yours! The have one of the best personalities ever! 🐾♥️🐾
Thank you to Scott and his wife, for not abandoning/being able to take Jackson into your home, after Scott’s father died. I hope you all have many more years with Jackson. ❤️
Hey! Any Husky owner must possess, patience, humor, fairness, devotion, and often putting oneself last - like walking the dog in rain. We have talents too💕
We LOVED our huskies. They lived for over 15 years. My male husky howled an cried when his sister had to spend the night at the vet. As you said, the connection with them was much greater than any dog I've ever had!
I have 2 huskies. Why I got huskies was their potential to have long life spans. Had an American Eskimo 14 years before I got a husky. I wanted a dog who could live 14+ years again
As a Siberian husky owner, I can totally relate in terms of their mannerisms. The talking, the whining, the playing, but it's a lot of fun at the same time 😂
My husky had what I called a divo personality 😂 😂 He was just sassy and would sit and stretch out his neck looking at the sky when someone would noticed him and told me he was a gorgeous dog as if he knew they were talking about him. I would shower him, blush him, and he knew he looked good so when anyone came that day, he would stand in front of them and do his divo pose so they could start telling him how handsome he was. I must say me and my mom got him used to that 😂 I miss him so much 😔 🌈
They are a talkative breed with a HUGE personality! Lovely dog if you like to interact with your pet! My son has a Siberian Husky and she's quite a talker. That being said, I had a shepherd/lab cross who was a "talker", too and, I swear, smarter than most of my friends! LOL She also liked to stand on the console between the front seats and ride with her head out of the sunroof - we got a lot of smiles from other vehicle occupants over that!
@SUSAN CRAWFORD I know it's fun, but goodness, that's surely a death sentence if you were to get rear-ended or T-boned. She'll catapult through the windshield or get thrown through the sunroof right into traffic. I'm begging you to get her a doggy seat-belt and belt her in. I know, it isn't as fun, but imagine the guilt you'd feel if something were to happen to her.
My Belgium loved riding in the back of the pickup. Paws on the roof, barking at any one that looked at him. He used to hug me when I came home. He liked playing how high can I make girls jump. I would back the truck into the parking spaces. He would wait for them to pass like a good boy. Then give them his ferocious bark sequence. If they jumped and squeaked. He had fun. Dog humor. I told a few girls to go over and say "Stubby you are good boy" and put out your hand and then he will lick it. He liked girls. I guess the hands taste good.
You are just the best of people to adopt Jackson after such a sad loss, your dad would be proud, we all have our distinct personalities and Jackson definitely loves sharing his 😁, what a gorgeous boy. 🥰🏴🇬🇧
Reminds me of a Samoyed we had when I was a kid. She didn't really bark. She just "talked" a lot and occasionally she would throw her head up like a wolf and howl. Such a smart dog.
My partner and I just love Husky personality and energy. We adopted one that was treated badly, and we along with our older Husky had to encourage and teach that it was okay too howl and talk, and he won't get in trouble. He is now coming out of his shell and just a big baby!
I have a Siberian husky and she is exactly the same, she's so funny and i love her to bits. had her since she was 8 weeks old, she is now 9. she has to have a pillow and be wrapped up in a blanket, but most of the time when she's tired, she just goes into the bedroom gets under the duvet and head on the pillows. she has a fit of the zoomies, and dashes around like a lunatic. She's very vocal and we have lots of conversations. I cannot imagine my life without her, she's my best friend. Loved watching your video. x
We've had huskies (usually three at a time) for over forty years now. To us, there could be no other dog breed that brings us such joy. But they do in fact need a lot of exercise, attention, grooming and most of all patience. They are extremely strong willed, and only mind when it benefits them. So if you can't handle all of these things, consider a different breed. But if you have huskies and are delighted with them, then you are very lucky indeed!
People shouldn't own them if they don't have have an acreage without 'seasons'. These dogs thrive in the cold, obviously as they are work dogs that were bred for such an environment. They don't need grooming if they are treated as they were bred. The internet has done the worst to every animal breed, and people have a difficult time not being stupid when it comes to animals.
I feel like you have to have multiple huskies to keep them occupied with each other in order to not have the husky sound like they need to speak to the manager
We recently had to say a sudden goodbye to our much loved white German Shepherd rescue (who we always believed might also have some Husky in her). She shared a lot of these mannerisms, and watching this just made me miss her and love her even more than I already did! 🕊🐾🐾🕊
What a beautiful story, and a great story teller . I'm sorry for anyone who has never experienced this type of special amazing bond with an animal. Imagine what the world would be if everyone had .
No! Not everyone deserves a dog! I quit working for Fed Ex because of all the neglected & abused dogs. The sheriff wouldn't listen to me about two felony abuse cases. I couldn't take it anymore & had to quit! Haven't you seen where people chain up their dogs in their back yards & starve them to death? Not everyone should be allowed to have pets!
It is truly beautiful when you see a home where a pet feels truly settled and loved to be themselves and have their own personality. My nephew has two cats and honestly I never knew cats can interact with humans just like dogs do, they always look so happy. They are brother and sister from the same litter, I’ve never seen them hiss or fight with one another, unless playfully and when one leave the room, they will actually meow the other to come. I’m not a cat person, but I can watch my nephew’s cats for hours, they are so lovely and like dogs in their behaviour. The husky is a character for sure but a happy chappy. I ❤️ this video
Oh yes. Cats do interact with their family. They are given a reputation of being aloof but not so. Our cat Puss would hang with my husband like a dog and would obey on command. Someone thought that we trained him. No, Puss was just a family member.
I teared up when you said he misses his sister. I also didn’t want a dog either because of the amount of work involved in caring for a dog. My husband convinced me to go to a shelter to ‘check out’ the dogs. We came home with said dog (shepherd/akita mix) after visiting him again on 2nd day because he was going to be put down. He was returned 2x. We have had him now for 7+years and he’s also very food motivated (we are too) so he came to the right home. He also sheds all the time. But, more than anything, he’s our blessing. He’s helped us through some difficult moments.
He sure has an attitude but these kind of dogs do, naturally. He had me laughing. He’s so comical. Glad u kept him. He didn’t need to go to someone that he didn’t know. He knew u 2 .
Jackson is so adorable. So sorry you lost your miniature baby at 16. You both seem to love and take care of both of your fur babies and it made me so happy you adopted Jackson after your dad passed (sorry for your loss of your dad). What a great bond you have, keep sharing!
Oh my, Jackson is an absolutely beautiful and intelligent critter. You're very lucky to have him and he's very lucky to have you. Much love and God's blessings!
I swear that dog said "I'm not being dramatic!" 😃 Really, such a good boy and what a hard life he's lived having lost two family members already. So glad he's got a Mom and Dad that love him so much!
Aw, Jackson is so adorable, and he's so full of life. I'm so happy that you took him in after your dad passed away. His personality and facial expressions remind me of my sweet boy, Jack, a beautiful black shepherd. He passed away last December at age 12, and I miss him so much because he was so talkative and demanding, just like Jackson. And he was always right by my side, my shadow. God bless you and Jackson. Wishing you many happy, healthy years together. But enjoy every minute with him because time flies.
Jackson is too hilarious and adorable! I am sad to hear that he lost his sister. I know all too well that the worst part of having a dog is having to say goodbye to them. My husband and I lost our beloved poodle in 2014. Loki was almost 15. It about killed me when he passed away because for over 13 years, he was our "baby". Hubby was online looking for adoptable dogs. I didn't know if I was ready for another one so soon. But I found out just how sad it was to come home to NO dog to greet you and say "I love you and am so happy you are home!" So less than two weeks later, we brought home a basenji/Siberian husky mix we named Freyja because she's so sweet and so beautiful!
Thank you for you story. I have lost my dog after 7 years and I was a total mess but I am starting to get better. Someday I too will get a new dog friend, but not for a while.
Very sad for your loss. When a beloved animal crosses the Rainbow Bridge, they take a little piece of your heart with them. But just know that they will be waiting for you when it's your time to go.
@Stormblast729...So sorry for your loss. I am 70, been through it many times, some hit harder like my favourite feral cat who was killed by a snake 8 years ago.My heart felt like a boulder, blasted apart by an avalanche of grief. Those who say it was only a pet or time heals, don't get it. Your beloved dog was family, like my little tabby cat. And time just dulls the pain that is always under the surface. Blessings from another animal lover in Australia.(Watch Doggy Daycare Farm Trips on RUclips for lots of doggy smiles).
A Husky is what we got for my father who said, "No dog, ever again," after his 'best ever' dog died. It was funny to listen to them talk to each other. When we finally had to take the Husky, aged 14, to be euthanized she was quite ill and had to ride in the back of the pickup truck so the interior of the car would not be ruined. My father rode to the vets in the bed of the truck with the dog.
OOOOH! I love this so much. I just nearly cried. I love you both for loving him and I'm sorry for your loss of the little one. Sending huge love and thank you for sharing. This has brought joy to my heart xx

I love huskies and I am not getting one because I love them.
True husky owners will understand that.
I'm sorry for your loss! I am glad your husband was able to give you a last gift... a friend. x
They are the best. Simply the best.🐾🐾
My deepest condolences go out to you, Mrs. Tanya.
I hope your new gift from your late husband makes you happy everyday. 🙏❤️🌻🌷⚘️

Jackson is going to need a friend but it's clear he's got loving parents. May you have many more yars with him

What a great personality Jackson has. I agree, he needs a new friend or sibling. I have a boxer and really need to get her a sibling too!
I'm so sad about them losing their little Min Pin !! 😢😿
Jackson has a HUGE personality. I also believe he needs a fur-friend. 🐾🐾💕
a small fur-friend😊
Huskies are always throwing tantrums. Huskies are drama QUEENS.
Yes!! Huskys are escape artists who are easily bored and destructive when bored. Mine laid on the floor and effortlessly made a hole in the wall with his lower teeth RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!
Isnt that fricking ADORABLE!!!?
Agree ♡
As a former owner of a Siberian husky I completely relate to your every day crazy routine tantrums & conversations...they are unique breeds!
His relationship with their ancient minpin was so cute...I bet he has plenty of friends.
Huskies are drama queens!!!
Any dog can be trained, it is usually 100% on the owners being push overs or bad people or just lazy for why they have shitty behaved dogs,
"I love him and I will protect him always." Beautifully said. Every dog parent's core responsibility. 🥰
Im under the impression every husky has a tantrum problem
They do to lessor or greater degree, but at the same time they are very loving and endearing so you can't be mad
Its not a bug, its a feature
Yeah it’s pretty standard, there are some more docile ones out there, usually the bigger fluffier ones, but the skinnier ones are always rambunctious and overly talkative.
@@lemerdtool I don’t think OP meant any negativity towards their statement and mentioned their tantrums in a loving way :)
My dad says "talk to me goose" like he's in the movie top gun and his dog is his wingman!

My cats Matthew and Firefly saved my life while I was sick. 🤗🐈🐈💕❤
That brought tears to my eyes! 😢
I understand! I'm so glad to know about your Rebel. Mine were Shepherd-Husky mixes, at different times of my life. They were the best, most unconditionally loving friends, and got me through very hard times. How I miss them. I dearly hope your health improved, that you are well. We carry their love, their intrepid spirits and the joy of their "antics" with us.❤
❤️🙏
What a beautiful story, it sounded like you had an amazing dog. So happy that this video could bring memories back for you.
Jackson is absolutely precious. He sure is a talker. Happy you kept him after your dad's passing.
Hi Beatrix how are you doing
@@kimberleyslauenwhite9004 It is definitely part of the breed. No matter how much exercise you give them.
Very right ❤ I spend every free minute outside with my baby and he is very well behaved..
I love how talkative Huskies are. They can always bring a smile to your face even on the worst day of your life . I think they act even more silly if they can sense you are having a bad day. Thank you for being awesome Peace and love to you and your family 💙💚💙💚💙💚
Yes l agree. They appear to be more intelligent and interactive with humans.
It always puzzle me how you get them to talk? Kind of like what time do you wake babies in the morning.
;-)
Wow! It's completely off-topic, but I just can't help myself: when was the last time a stranger told you you look like Margot Kidder?
Try living with one. The talking never ever ends. My Beau is two years old he goes everywhere I go and he love making noise. He talks nonstop and he very demanding.

What a great story! I love the fact that his new parents said they would never let him go because he was family- even after his dad passed. I hear way too many stories about pets being dumped at the shelter after the relatives pass…Jackson is certainly blessed!

@@sunshineb7006 Oh, you’d be surprised. Depending on which part of the U.S.,you live. However, it’s not common… I don’t believe.

Siberian huskies are work dogs breed to live in colder climates and not kept as family lap dogs, I wish people did their research before getting them but noooo. It’s as much abuse as anything else.
He is so precious and part of your dad which makes him even more special. So sorry for both of your losses.
I've never met a Husky that didn't love cats & get along really well with them.

I have a dog and I name her Cherry. I can’t see myself traveling anywhere as that would mean I have to place her at boarding while I am away. People said dog tends to get separation anxiety but I guess, I will be the one who will get separation anxiety instead. Hahaha!

My Belgium loved riding in the back of the pickup. Paws on the roof, barking at any one that looked at him. He used to hug me when I came home.

Dude, I never seen a dog with a more similar personality that fits my boxer. Thanks man, and to many good years with yours.
As a husky owner myself, I think they are absolutely aware that their shenanigans are hilarious and they just love being comedians.
@@Stormblast729 hey Storm, how ya doing? one question, is The Rainbow Bridge next to
The Big Kennel In The Sky Bridge?
He’s absolutely adorable ❤️🐕❤️
Hello Hilarie how are you doing
he's a gem. love him
Jackson is not having tantrums. He is like all other husky’s, he likes to talk and express himself. He’s beautiful
How adorable he is
Hello Mary how are you doing today
He seems like a very happy, secure dog❣️
OOOOH! I love this so much. I just nearly cried. I love you both for loving him and I'm sorry for your loss of the little one. Sending huge love and thank you for sharing. This has brought joy to my heart xx
Huskies are so smart, and they crack me up with their sass. ♡
He said, “I Love You”! He said it several times! He’s awesome and just loves you both soooo much. Awesome and thanks for sharing! 🥰
Oh hes so cute that husky with a temper and his temper tantrums are so cute ! Love your channel !
Thank you so much!
I’ve had 2 pure bred huskies (Tika & Sonic),and watching Jackson brings back fond memories. Jackson is pure husky! They are the best dogs❤️
I think his tantrums are amazing.
He’s so cute and vocal.
My goodness, all he needs is a pants and a shirt, then he becomes a full human. Lol. So adorable 🥰, very animated and knows how he feels. What a precious human
:DDDD Nahhhh... Luckily not a human, he a preciousssss doggo
Hmmm!
He's got more personality than a lot of humans out there! 😃
So glad they took him when the Father passed away. He's clearly in the best place for him. Love that this family take care of thier dog so well inc filling the pool with ice so he can be a true husky for abit if they live somewhere that gets no snow.
My condolences on the passing of your Father. That must be so difficult for him to have passed so suddenly and unexpectedly. 💔
God bless you and your wonderful family. ❤
I am also so amazed with huskys. I have a 6 year old female. Since she was a tiny baby we have loved her more deeply than anything in our lives. She's sassy, full of energy. I love her. My baby girl
❤️ huskies. We had 3 pure breeds, 2 passed away due to old age and health complications . We now have one boy who is nearly 14.
They are beautiful souls, each one with their own awesome personalities.
Jackson is delightful ! Every Siberian Husky I have ever known is just full of personality, they really engage in a deep way with the people in their lives 💞💘💗💘💞
So glad this lovely man (and his wife!) adopted his late Dad's dog! I can never understand people who just kick family member's pets to the curb (unless they REALLY can't care for them for some good reason). Anyway, Jackson is hilarious. Huskies seem like dogs with huge personalities! ❤️
Some aren't equipped to care for a houseplant much less a more complex living being such as an animal.
"I can never understand people who just kick family member's pets to the curb" *I wouldn't allow family members to remain in my family who did this*
@@thetruthchannel349 I like your attitude! Same!! I have kicked family members (a brother) to the curb for their crazy political views - but we won't go there. He also was a jerk anyway.
@@moralityisnotsubjective5 AGREED!!
@I_love_rescue_animals I can ALMOST understand that assuming your brother is one of those wacked out democrats! 🤤🤡
Beautiful music to help my beautiful puppy sleep and relax!
Loved this story. I'm convinced that all Huskies act just alike, because mine is the exact same way! I'm surprised he didn't talk about the escape artistry, but he definitely showed it. Lol.
