I like the point made about Ozzy Osbourne merit for one of the greatest frontman in music. Haters might doubt his musical habilities but he knew how to move crowds.

It was definitely Bill who told Ozzy he was fired, he's mentioned it in a few interviews. Ozzy sort of was like Dennis Wilson and Keith Moon. Manic energy, very friendly but impossible to contain. No discipline. So you have to keep this talent captive. Back in that era, it meant throwing punches, flushing pills, forcing a team of teenage chicks out of the room so this little dude could do his job. But Tony also knew that Ozzy had an irreplaceable voice, incredible soul, beautiful composition. So you are basically fighting your right arm to do it’s job. Tough situation. With Elvis, he had no one to keep in check. With Keith, Roger could sort of keep him in check. With Dennis, we’re going to have to fight this bastard every time he goes on a bender. With Ozzy… he was too good and had no understanding of his talent. How do you reign people in? I think Tony probably overdid it, but it was crazy.

Ozzy knew Geezer, and Tony and Bill were like you know Geezer, ok he's cool, let's do it. If Ozzy hadn't known Geezer it probably wouldn't have happened since Tony obviously disliked Ozzy from the get go

What is Truly Funny to me is that I did not know Ozzy Osbourne, I only knew of Black Sabbath! And had their Albums! But Get this, My Highschool Shop Teacher's Name, was Mr. Osbourne!!! YES MR. OZZY OSBOURNE!!! My Best Friend was laughing and I didn't know why!?!?!?! But Now I know, In 1980 My Shop Teacher, the nicest man I have ever met! Was named Oswald Osbourne at birth!!! Some times we called him Ozzy, but most of the time out of respect we called him Mr, Osbourne!!! :D Highlands High Sac CA.
Back in the pre 80's , record stores were great for checking to see who was into the same music as I was. Not always though. I liked the record store environment, always music being played in the background.
Any member of Black Sabbath being interviewed by someone in a suit just seems wrong to me

i always notice tony takes credit for ozzy a lot. to what extent it’s true i’ll imagine 40% but tony will never give ozzy the 60% he deserves meanwhile ozzy talks up tony till the day is done. give me a break.
Tony is 100% > Ozzie. So Ozzie got a better deal than he deserved.
Yeah coz the guy that wrote all the songs n music is generally worth more than the singer.
I would pay a billion dollars for that original Ozzy Zig requires gig ad
Sometimes all you need is an opportunity and someone that believes in you.
Look at Tony.. he is the Devil of Guitar..... Bad ass Gentleman.... luv im....
"didn't really associate with him at school" (Scratches head, nervous look hidden by glasses) yeah, That's codeword for He kicked the shit out of ozzy at school. They both don't like talking about eachother during their school days. I wonder how bad of a bully iommi was to him.
Yeah, but I defiantly understand it. They both seem to, since they know they were both just kids. Iommi is a bully, He had to be where he grew up, otherwise he wouldn't have made it this far.
In another interview Tony Iommi admits they went to a tough school and the older kids picked on the younger ones.
I've been seeing/reading interviews from Tony for 30 years, and he has *never* owned up to how viciously he bullied Oz. And boy, did he ever beat the tar out of him.
It says a lot about Ozzy that he still perused being in a band controlled by his old school bully. The guy has balls.
Calebe Priester its possible that he did
JBadAss98Gameing That doesn't mean that he's bullying him.
This interview looks like it was done in a funeral parlor.

Ozzy doesn’t know how talented he actually is.
Sure he does. Ozzy hasn’t been particularly talented for a number of years. Should be retired.
Talk to the crowd.....50 yes of Let's go f..king crazy🤣🤣
I love Ozzy
I was shocked how good Ozzie's voice sounded.
Why is it funny that someone would post an ad in a music store?
They laugh because now it's weird but at that time it was normal.
It's simply called CHEMISTRY. It is magic when it happens.
I like the point made about Ozzy Osbourne merit for one of the greatest frontman in music. Haters might doubt his musical habilities but he knew how to move crowds.

Despite all the the problems Sabbath would never have been Sabbath without these four people. Like them or not.

Tony is putting it very mildly here. In an interview decades ago, he said he not just didn't associate with Ozzie but knew him from school and (quote) "Couldn't stand the sight of him." LOL
I've seen also that Tony used to bully Ozzie.
Very Cool.
First time I listen to Tony speak😙😊 it's beautifull ❤🎸
Hes a creep who thinks his shit doesn't stink.. zI didn't like him then and don't like him now..
So, do I understand correctly that Bill is the only guy whom Ozzy should always salute about his whole career? And we all know what was the pay back from Ozzy to Bill. That's how much a friendship costs in a show business.
Andrej Istomin so true man
Sharon's fault.
That bitch fucks everything.
I think it was also Bill who had to tell Ozzy that he was out of the band. I think he always felt a little betrayed by Bill over that.
It was definitely Bill who told Ozzy he was fired, he's mentioned it in a few interviews.
So far as Bill not rejoining Sabbath on their last album & tours it does seem like it's probably unrelated to Ozzy, as Bill gave the same reason (an unsignable contract) when he dropped out of the reunion with Dio, which Ozzy (& his management) obviously had nothing to do with
Agustin, Ozzy Osbourne would be dead without Sharon. There would've never been a black sabbath reunion without her. And bill Ward shouldn't have been such a fucking pussy, He should've went out there with them and played for the fans, NOT THE MONEY. Fuck William Ward on this one. But....hey, maybe they needed a little controversy to get the album going....it did top the charts in 50 countries. Black sabbaths my favorite band, but you cant forget, THEYVE ALWAYS HAD SOME FAKE BULLSHIT GOING ON IN THE BACKGROUND TO ENDORSE THEM IN THE PUBLIC NEWS. dumbasses
lol, "organize a raffle". great advise.
Black Sabbath are Black Sabbath, there is no-one else, no other musician, artist, vocalist or band to replace these 4 original men who formed the greatest heavy rock band in the world with a blues twist of harmony, echoes of enchantment and real ROCK!
You guys who are slagging off any of these Greats need your heads tested, they are the best, they were the Best and they always will be.
When I first heard the original album, I was completely blown away and for anyone to highlight any faults in these guys, can we understand to make anything GREAT, we need GREAT characters, these gents were all of their own making and together they gelled like no other.
Black Sabbath no1.

In the beginning.. There was Ozzy 😁😂

Funny thing is Tony used to bully Ozzy in school , that’s probably why he said never mind when he took one look at Ozzy coming to the door. Funny how life works huh?
Some bullies mean well overall even if they go overboard. Some bullies are down right just animals. Tony must have been the good type of bully.
@@stevenjackson2967 bully just means you like to fight. Roger Daltrey is another "bully " (self admitted). Ozzy was a wannabe skinhead in his youth. May be why Iommi would smash his face in
