    I don't know why but the setting sun in your video flashed me back hard like 20 years to when I was installing 3in dp and exhaust on my Eclipse. Thanks for the video. I just bought a redline and I needed to see what the stock dp looked like. Great vid thanks again!

      @@Fisherman1827 What do you think of the noise level? Solo's racing exhaust (with no muffler) is about $200 cheaper but probably also significantly louder. Do you think you'd start getting in trouble if you had the racing exhaust instead of the mach shorty that you got?

    • @Fisherman1827
      @Fisherman1827  4 года назад

      @@kaceymoncur9308 I was tempted to get the racing exhaust, but I had a talk with one of the guys from solo performance and he talked me into getting the mach shorty. I live in Miami so I was a little worried about being too loud in the sense I wanted to be able to get on it with out cops "3 blocks down" being able to hear me. Of course there are mustangs and other cars around that have really loud exhausts but with the mach shorty its loud enough to know its not stock but you can keep it quite when you want it to be, the race exhuast is full loud all the time so I've been told. Hope that helps :)

    Hey andrew, I'm curious, I already have a high flow catted down pipe from rpm motorsports. I'm assuing the new exhaust will bolt right up to that one? It would sure make it easier to not have to remove that cat. It's a good one. I guess my question is: was the connection from the new cat to the rest of the exhaust the same as the old one? If so, I should have a problem with that. Thanks!

    Hey Andrew, great video.. thanks. So I just purchased my '07 Sky Redline 2 weeks ago and I'm ready to tune. I bought it with some bolt-ons already on it : DDM intake, fuel filter line, silicone hoses.. I also just bought a Solo high flow cat, it's on the way. I was on the fence about HP tuners and a guy in my town and Trifecta. Well it turns out the tuner situation went south (many reasons) so I'm gonna do Trifecta. I contacted support and they told me the Advantage + would be best for my set up. Your video made me less nervous about my 1st attempt at this, thanks again. Any advice ? Also, how many lbs. boost are you making ? Have you dynoed the car ? Did you get the advantage or the advantage + or elite ? Thanks in advance for your time, R.C.

    • @Fisherman1827
      @Fisherman1827  3 года назад +2

      Congrats on your purchase:) Your'e gonna love it! I think Trifecta may have change their packages, because advantage and elite things dont ring a bell. I bought a custom tune that they are able to adjust if i need them to for free. They have even looked at some of my data logs and helped me identify that I had a cracked intercooler before. They have great customer service! I make 23lbs of boost with my mods and tune, I could push for more but for right not I'm choosing to play it safe. I have not dynoed my car but they said I should be around 320HP and 340TQ at the crank. I felt a significant difference in power after the tune with my high flow cat and exhaust. Hope this helped you!

      @@Fisherman1827 thank yeah I think they renamed stuff a bit but you definitely don't have the base tune You have to have at least advantage + to go back and forth like you're describing.. You may have gotten what they now call the elite. The "base tune" they offer is like $350, the Advantage + is $450ish whereas the Elite is closer to $680. Just curious what did you pay for yours and how long ago was that ? Also after some research I've decided to go with GM stage 1 map sensors (3 bar).. did you purchase/install those or just go with your stock OEM ones ?
