  • December Exhibition
    10 - 15 December 2021
Open to public from 10am - 4pm each day
The Learning Connexion School of Creativity and Art - 182 Eastern Hutt Road, Taita, Hutt City
The Learning Connexion School of Creativity and Art’s end-of-year student exhibition is an opportunity to come together to experience artwork. Sharing work performs a central and generative role within the creative process, and is also a chance for students to sell their works to the wider public. Running until 15 December, the exhibition is held at The Learning Connexion (TLC) campus based in Lower Hutt.
In art, you work with what’s at hand and respond to the environment that you’re in. The exhibition will showcase our students' reflections and responses to this current time and place. The technique and dexterity of Learning Connexion students comes through in what is on offer - which ranges from jewellery skillfully soldered and filed, to ephemeral figurative watercolours.
    Our Distance Learning Programme.
The Learning Connexion offers a flexible and supportive study from home option for students anywhere in New Zealand.
Distance delivery means you will learn to draw, paint, sculpt, design and create from the comfort of your own home and receive one-on-one tutoring from one of our skilled mentors, all of whom are practicing artists.
Studying from home gives you the flexibility to maintain your current lifestyle without the pressure of travel and the conformity of traditional class structure. Communication with your mentor can be through Skype, phone, email, social media or written feedback - whatever suits your needs.
We have students and graduates across New Zealand, many of whom have developed their art into a sustainable practice.
