"Tired of getting overlooked for jobs? My ATS resume-writing skills are top-notch. I know what keywords and formatting recruiters look for, so you can stand out in the crowd." 🔍✅
Recommendations works better. I know because someone in the company I am currently vying to join recommended my resume to be evaluated. Now I have finished all three iv stages. I did apply the same position several years ago by just clicking the conventional way and it went nothing. I am hoping to get the job but if I fail, now I know networking is the ultimate way.
The problem is that SOME job titles vary, even though the role is almost identical from company to company. For example, QC, QA, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality-Control, Quality-Assurance, Quality Management, Quality Analyst, etc, etc are generally the same position. This absolutely does limit not only one's ability to search but to be found by limiting keywords. It's understandable that some industries aren't particularly large and have massive potential hiring pools, but it's also true that some industries are large but have relatively smaller pools (maybe just in some markets) to choose from. Whether this is due to required skill sets or now keywords, how does this truly benefit employers? Seems to me that it benefits hiring staff most and they may not necessarily be the ones most considerate of the company's BEST interests, just adequate ones... If someone can enlighten me, I'm willing to listen?
@JeffSu - I've just found myself back in the general population looking for work after 16 years and the methods the various agencies and recruiters use really doesn't allow the businesses every opportunity to find not just candidates that have the required skill set but the chemistry that best compliments those who work in them... Sometimes, when a candidate with all the desired skills can't be found, that's when finding a candidate the employer can mold is so important. How are they supposed to know who that really is when they miss 80, 90, 95% of resumes and cover letters? Plus, of the resumes and letters they are seeing, what percentage were 100% AI generated?... What percentage of hiring companies expect and or demand they be AI creates?
Brooooo marry me I love your information can you please tell how to write resume and cover letter for big companies like Google Amazon and some hacks for it
Same here, clicking all filters brings up Sort by, Date posted, From member, From Company, posted by, mentoring member, mentoring company, author industry, author company, Author Keywords, but no location .
@jeffsu thank you for the useful tips, today I learned something new. Unfortunately this search for HR Manager only yielded a long list of posts from fellow unemployed HR. It just goes to show it's a terrible time to be in HR.
How do we message them? They are not in our networks most of the time. And they don't ever respond back on inmails and take forever to accept our connection requests. By the time they do accept and reply back (rarely) the job position is gone.
No worries I used your tip for the keyword tool - word cloud - and it wasn't great for tech jobs - i found a really good hard & soft skills keyword tool, and thought it might make a good video for you - help your community? I'll be honest. If you can't figure out, how to navigate a site that is literally set up, to find job postings, you shouldn't get into any managerial position.
Best looping transition ever lol
Haha thanks!!!

Only 2 minutes but packed with useful advice. Thanks for sharing Jeff
My pleasure!
Please it didn’t work for me .Can you help me
I'm going to start calling you the LinkedIn man.
Sounds like the name of an extremely boring superhero but...i'll take it 🦸🏻

And what do we say to a hiring manager or someone from the company when we find them on LinkedIn?

Be intentional about who you message

Thanks, Jeff, but how do I filter for posts by people based in US?
Use the location filter 😁
Wish LinkedIn had been this helpful back in college!
wow, 厉害!
Thanks 😁
I read so many recruiters posting in LinkedIn that DM as a result from this will be ignored. they only accept recommendations.
Yes recruiters just ignoring DM's.
To be honest these days recruiters just using LinkedIn for increasing followers and connections only 😢😢
Works!!!!

Job tab on LinkedIn and filter by country 😁
