@@LoneWolfSparty 🤣 well if you watch The Matrix 2 you'll see a lot of Cadillacs and Oldsmobile intrigues get killed... A lot of Northstar and short-star engines got massacred in that film 🤣
Yea had to change my starter on my 08 Titan a few yrs ago. It does keep dirt, débris and oil from getting in and on the starter so it has its benefits. You don’t have to lay on your back getting dirt or rust in your eyes
I worked on one of these nissan product removing starter and my 10mm socket for lost in the back. One day if someone ever need to pull the engine they will find it.
In the lifetime of a Chrysler v6, a couple of times the intake manifold comes off for plugs and an oil cooler. Yet for nonsense like this starter job on an Asian car or a gm? Meh. All in a days work 😂
He better cover them intake ports before he drops something in one of them and doesn't realize it would be bad news for him 😮
Yeah, the early north stars Cadillac had Them under the intake too 👋🏽
North Star and short star weren't as bad of engines as people made them out to be...

Majority of V8 engines have the starter under the intake, along with knock sensors. Some v6 engines aswell
My 1996 Cadillac Seville had it under the intakewith the Northstar engine
😂😂 JT you need to get out more often man!!😂
Lmao, IKR
Cadillac Northstar and the old Toyota V8 engines were like this too.
Thats about as crazy as spark plugs under the intake manifold! 👀👀👀
I believe 1UZ Toyotas also have the starter in there. I could be wrong
I wonder what the price is on that repair?

Under the intake lol. Lexus LS400 had them there as well, I'm not sure about toyotas newer V8s.

You would think for all the labor involved in replacing the starter, they would have purchased an OEM starter.
Still riding other technicians work on your videos JT 😂😂
😅🤣😂
those vk motors are tough as sh1t
Nissan titan the same way
Yeah this is nothing new, but I personally wouldn't wanna do all this work and put a junk, parts store starter in it
