This was quite an early and unfinished version of "Beyond the Sea", but they were so lovely there. It was fun to look back at their first international event after they achieved some major success recently. I really hope them skate well in all the following events, and keep healthy. I just love them SO much.
don't quite like their exhibition numbers nearly as much as their competition numbers but this is one of my favorites for one reason Dash they make it look easy and effortless and fun at the same time! this is one of the very few times that they actually look like they were having fun on the ice with each other. The older they got the more sophisticated their programs got and the more serious their exhibitions got. their exhibition since they have decided to stop skating competitively have gotten to be fun again - if only they could translate the fun they have on the ice it would be an interesting program to see for competitive purposes ... oh well - 2022 anybody ?
A lovely early skate. But, oh, the music is so bad. Thinking that may be Harry Connick Jr. His singing is so cold. Bobby Darin, who had a hit with that song in 1959 was infinitely warmer and just so much better.

You could tell here that Meryl and Charlie were born to be on the ice together!!!!! And what an amazing journey they traveled!!!!
