I bought one for listening to music, and you are accurate in terms of sound and number of hours used. The bass and mids are good. Been listening to k-pop music and major IV shines in playing them. Thanks for the kind review.
I bought the headphones defective for €15, the holder on the right was broken. fixed it and am really happy with it now! Super sound, great optics and the long battery life!
When wearing them wired as opposed to BT (tbh, I haven't even tried them with BT yet), the brass knob doesn't seem to do anything. Certainly not in terms of volume up or volume down. Sometimes it wont even work to turn them off. I've noticed sometimes when wearing them wired it starts going blue, as if seeking a BT connection. Other people have made similar complaints about this. I got them from Amazon, they seem to check out as genuine so I don't think they're fake. Maybe I just got a duff pair.
Got mine today, same thing, unfortunately the knob doesn’t seem to work in wired mode. A shame as being able to use them wired is a nice feature to have.
Got mine as a birthday gift. Sound is absolutely fantastic, like hell these are the best sounding Bluetooth headphones I’ve had. The bass is so rich yet allows for clarity to perfectly balance the soundstage. I like everything about these headphones. I WILL SAY, I’ve had a few issues with the Bluetooth cutting out after a few days...not sure if it’s going to be a problem. I like to listen wired when I can but the Bluetooth is really nice to just walk around the house or neighborhood etc. I play guitar and like to use headphones as well and these sound great for that as well.
When using these wirelessly, you can also plug in headphones for another person to listen to what you're listening to at tge same time. You might be able to plug in a microphone in to record the action "riffs"?
@@ProductImpressions thank you for the reply. Instead I can use a 3.5mm to usb c cable, to connect to my phone right? I really don't like using headphones wirelessly.
How are these compared with monitor headphones of the likes of sony mdr 7056 and sennheiser HD 280? I know those ones have flat signiture, but would still like to get some comparison, especially on sound clarity, and overall quality. I'd also like to know if these ones fits a smaller than average sized head as mine, for comparison, the ATH m40x were way too big for me.
There is some coloration of the sound with these headphones, but they are better than something that is advertised as 'super bass' or anything like that. If you want straight audio replication, you're better off going with actual monitors. With respect to size, I believe you would be ok. My head is on the larger size and these work but have plenty of room to be smaller.
Hi, is there no latency watching movies on the phone or on the notebook, please? (as I understood, they do not have AptX feature, so I raise this question)
I like Marshall Headphones/Speakers But Little Scary Expose Cable In The Headphones and No Case Protection Included in the box..Very Great Features/Specs..I cannot Decide if I get the Marshall/Bose/Sony Headphones..
I was using the 2nd generation ones and they where the best for gaming and for zoom calls cuz I had online classes and they were impecable, the microphone is like perfect and the audio is the best on the market for that price and for me they are worth the money cuz my marshall's gen 2 I've been using since they've come out so thumbs up on them
I didn't have a problem with it, but I could see it being a weak point after several years. The range of motion isn't very large and it is a heavier wire than is used on the old wired earbuds, which is the only place I've had the wire be an issue.
Honestly I have major 3 for a year now. Never had a 4 all I can say i say about the major 3 is that they're amazing. If you prefer over ear then dont buy major 3's.
No, there isn't an app to go with these. Overall, I prefer not having to have another random app on my phone, but there are definitely headphones that benefit from having extra settings.
I just got the Marshall major iv from Amazon for 150$ and unfortunately I don't recommend it to anyone.. The sound is too superficial, it feels like they're under water, it's like when you try to talk in a small container.. I bought them for gaming and I can't tell where I'm getting shot from, I wish there were a way to adjust that
bruh you got a pair of music headphones to use in game? are you crazy? lol... Get a pair of hyperx cloud 2 or logitech g pro x for gaming and you are all set friend

@@ivory8956 I have been completely blown away by the sound these produce.
@UCtGZoh6CWap5f_WqyRKHQ2g That’s a good question I’m on iPhone so I’m not quite sure. You can probably just contact Marshall
I see so much different options on the sound, some say it's horrible and the others say it's great. IDK WHO TO LISTEN TO.

Yup that should work, I'd like to hear.
It could be a big turn off if it plays a noise every time it skips a track..
Any news on if there are plans to release Marshall V soon? or is it in development?
listening to this through my Marshall Major 1
are these comfortable for long hours
so can I technically use this with just the headphone jack (not depleting the battery like at all)?
yes.
Can the usb c port be used for audio? Like connecting to a phone through a usb c cable?

Before I buy them I'd like to know how easy it is or if there is an issue regarding the BT pairing on a Windows 10 laptop
I'm afraid I can't answer that. I didn't test them with a laptop and actually sold them in favor of the Sony WH-1000XM4.
Just saved 70$ on these, Can't wait to try them!

@@rbmanb I've never tried that particular model, so no, I cannot really compare.
Do you think these would work for the gym? I can’t use earbuds and am looking for some good sounding gym on ear headphones
Sure, I could see using these in the gym. As with any on-ear headphones, be careful about running and such where they may fall off!

How loud are these compared to solo 3s wireless ? The beats solo 3s are just way to low for me.. just in love with the beats bass
