i believe that she did not cheat but she was already interested in nathan while being with jai. she was confused and didnt really know who to go for. but in the end she chose who she really wanted and was not afraid to tell everyone about it anymore.people should just forget about this now and not throw hate at either one of them because at the end of the day no fan knows what really happened.

See this matches up exactly with what Ariana DM'd a fan!! She said when she was with Jai she told him her and Nathan had a connection but NOT romantic! Just close friends! Then he got annoyed/took it the wrong and broke it off entirely! And then Nathan was there to pick her up when she was down... and things progressed from there! Basically matching up with this! Which is why I personally believe Ariana! And i'm glad her and Nath are very happy together :)

I used to love Ariana for her and her music but now just her music. I know everyones moved on and its been a while since all this but I still can't bring myself to like her personality. She's so sweet but she uses that to her advantage. Yes people move on but not that quick. I've been in a similar situation and god I know how hurt jai must have been. Here is my *THEORY*
Ariana had gotten interest in Nathan back in March 2013.
But she probably just thought he was cute, you know, it wasn't like love at first sight.
Nathan probably thought the same.
In-between April and July things were going fine between Jai and Ariana she was maybe even in love with him.
August is where Ariana's life started to go downhill.
She records the music video with Nathan and then after that she started to tweet about how happy she was, Nathan did the same.
After this had happened Nathan started to send Ariana flowers every single day.
At this point Ariana was having choices. Jai OR Nathan.
I guess Jai didn't feel too good about this because he started to tweet that he couldn't sleep.
I believe Jai broke up with her on August 6th by txt msg (Can I say fucked up!?!)
Ariana was on tour with Justin Bieber and on August 16(Ik bc i went to the concert in philly for my bday) she cried during Honeymoon Ave. Because this song is about a breakup and I guess she thought about Jai.
Nathan tried cheering her up by taking her on dates and nice things like that.
It obviously grew her feelings for Nathan because she started to be happy again.
Ariana became best friends with Nathan.
Jai regretted braking up with her and started tweeting about love and that he wanted her back.
Since Ariana loves love, she takes him back but as "supportive friends' as spoken by Jai.
Nathan was upset and deleted tweets about her, avoided her, and unfollowed the only person he followed on instagram, Ariana Grande.
Ariana was still in the middle and wanted Nathan back.
Something makes Ariana, Jai, and Nathan in a weird mood. (this is unknown and this is my theory for that)
I think Jai did something wrong and Ariana is feeling sad again, causing her to want to go back to Nathan. At this point Jai tries to get Ariana back by saying

Then Ariana finally makes her decision and decides to be with Nathan.
A month later Jai tries to make Ariana look bad for being with Nathan.
This was supposed to be "JARIANA'S" 1 year anniversary.
He claimed that Ariana cheated on him and alot of his fangirls believed him and started to hate Ariana. (WHAT HAPPENED TO "SUPPORTIVE FRIENDS")
EVEN Arianators thought this was true.
But some of his own fans got on Ariana's side because he was trying to make a publicity stunt?

I personally love Ariana and I am a true Arianator and I think Jai was a bit of a... dick and only judged by his looks.
And Nathan had the feelings. He was nice, considerate, and actually cared.
Alot of people tell Ariana that she should be with Jai because he's so "hot" and not with Nathan because hes ugly.
But the way I look at it, is personality. And I'm very happy with the choice Ariana made.
no hate to ariana i'm a big fan of her, but it was too soon for a new relationship.
I LOVE JAI BROOKS, and he loved Ariana so much
Ariana was friends with Nathan when jai broke up with her. She needed support and Nathan helped her. She was starting to date him, but then jai wanted her back. The truth is I think, Ariana loved jai and Nathan and her were just a fling.
No PROOF of cheating. I see hanging out and being friends. I didnt see ariana and nathan "hooking up" in any of this. People stop reading so much into what isn't there.
It's clear if she chose a guy over the other, there must be some qualities or attraction about the guy that the other guy do not have and is closer to her ideal type. I didn't even know any 3 of them(except ever listening to the wanted songs) until the duet. Jai, hmmm sorry to his fans but he and his friends all looking very immature like gangsters, i don't find him attractive at all and i swear it's not bias at all cause i came across the Almost is never enough music video first and paused first to see the comments, I didn't even see nathan's face and saw some bad comments about ariana cheating with Jai's name in the comments. So i search Jai in youtube first before seeing Nathan. Then i saw the music video and searched Nathan's videos and see that Nathan's a full package: he has a very very very cute face, nicest eyes, charming, sweet, gentleman, simple, shockingly respectful(rare to find nowadays lol), when he talks he always uses good english, has swag on stage and one biggest plus point: his voice, very gifted like ariana. I think she had that impression about nathan as well, and eventually admiring him, figuring out what she wants in a guy. Coincidentally it's Ariana's mom's dream come true when she chose Nathan haha. Cheating or not depends on what's your definition on cheating, it's different for everybody. But Jai is the one who broke up with her, which we don't know what's the reason, either something happened or could just be his harsh actions and jealousy. I think he should learn to be patient and mature, deal with the problem or only end things if he really want to, instead of always thinking that they can always patch up after solving them like their previous break up. He make it looks like he's threatening her by mentioning break up and after that wants her to realise her wrongdoings or such and then be back together like there's no consequences. I mean he can break up but at least don't go 'can't sleep', hurt, want her back after that. You lost it yourself, you can't blame anyone if you can't get it back. Although i think Nathan really is 'interested' in, attracted to Ariana when he saw her at the event but did not do anything as she has a boyfriend. Even performing on stage when she is still with Jai, Nathan's body language shows nothing beyond good friends, very platonic. Thanks to Jai's harsh break up though, because if he did not break up with Ariana, Nathan will never go after her. It's all fate. Nathan suits Ariana so well, it's like they were made for each other and just waiting for each other to appear.

I think what I gather from this is:
Ariana knows her worth and knows what she deserves. If one man wasn't going to give it to her, another man will, and if that one won't, another one will. I admire her for knowing her worth, and being strong enough to press on.
I can't possibly know if she cheated or not but if I have to pick a side, I will defend Ariana for sure. I do believe she might have fallen for Nathan while she was with Jai but that is not cheating as long as she didn't didn't act on her feelings. And she had enough respect for Jai to only start her relationship with Nathan some time after the break up. Clearly, Jai was desperate for publicity and he claimed she cheated and she reacted to that vicious insult like a classy lady. But these are all suppositions. We can't possibly know.

i honestly believe that Ariana did cheat on jai. look at the facts, jai adored her. She was his beyonce. She was a dream to him. and its sort of obvious ariana didn't have her story together. Basically i'm just sharing my opinion:
The TWFanmily knows Scooter is terrible at promoting The Wanted, even though he manages, Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande etc, he rarely promotes them, he basically promotes the like once a week.
When AINE was out i absolutely adore the song, i thought for a moment that Nariana was cute, then a friend of mine was a Janoskianator, she loved Ariana bacause Ari was dating Jai, as Nariana approved their relationship via twitter, i read Janoskianator's tweets about the whole thing, about Jariana breaking up and getting back together, and when i read about the whole thing i thought that Jariana was true love, Jai would come see Ariana during her tour, he would promote her music often, etc. I read the DM's with Ariana and fans, one said that she didn't broke up with Jai, she said Nathan and her had a connection then Jai just broke up with her.
After i read Jai's Twitlonger to Ariana and Nathan i literally burst into tears, if you can read it properly you can tell Jai is extremely heartbroken, he said in the Twitlonger "Nathan, if you hold her hand better hold it tight because you're holding my world" you could tell Jai was truly, madly, deeply in love with Ariana.
The fanmily knows Scooter is a Nathaner, when the boys performed I Found You at the GMA's Scooter said
"I FOUND YOU!! and yes @NathanTheWanted you killed the solo!@thewanted biggest ever crowd ever for GMA!"
So, there's a chance that Scooter set up this whole romance to promote TW.
So, even though i'm not a big fan of The Janoskians i could tell that Jai couldn't just break up with Ariana that easily, call me 'jealous' of Nathan all you want, i'm defending Jai because IF it's true that Ariana cheated on Jai (which i'm still not sure) I woudn't want her to date Nathan because there's still a chance that Ariana will cheat on Nathan too.

Okay this is what I got off from it all, Jai and Ariana had a rough split maybe because Ariana was a lot more busy than Jai, he overthought things and wrongfully accused her of being unloyal or cheating. Or she could have been too busy to be as attentive to the relationship which made him sad. He broke up with her and both were extremely distraught. At this time Nathan started with the whole duet thing and Ariana still being extremely sad over the breakup didn't cheat, but Nathan was nice and probably there for her especially since they were together often they became really close friends, that's why her dad was friendly to him. I can imagine Ariana complimenting Nathan's maturity and how he's been so sweet and nice to her. I bet the flowers were also to cheer her up. He probably liked her, but Ariana having been dumped recently would not be ready for that kind of relationship for a while, and he maturely accepted that therefore they were just close friends. Also why her dad clarifies that they were never dating. I'm pretty sure Nathan was trying to pursue Ariana though. Then afterwards Jai and her tried to rekindle their romance and it wasn't going so well. Which is where she tweeted about the seahorse ring, probably wishing she had the support and happiness that Nathan showed to her. She probably realized Nathan makes her happier than Jai is currently. Which is why at the end Nathan refollowed her and all that.

Every-time I watch this, I get so ANGRY at Ariana. It's a struggle, because I adore her, but I also adore Jai. I am constantly torn between wanting them to stay together (since they're currently together) and wanting someone better for Jai. Ariana does not deserve Jai. In my opinion, I think it was a way for scooter to promote and give publicity to both Ariana and Nathan, if they're both being managed by him, why wouldn't he want both of them to get the fame? The wanted have hardly gotten any publicity, and don't you think Nathan is the harry styles of The Wanted (not talent wise) but in the way he get's talked about more? I don't think she cheated but it was planned, that she'd break-up with Jai then move onto Nathan. not to offend anyone whether its ariana fans or jai fans but i really dont think its any of our business to decide who some of our favorite celebs can date. they said that jai didnt support ariana when her grandfather died but jai was busy on tour and things were going very well for him and his fellow members of the janoskians. so ariana being a celeb herself should understand why he wasnt that supportive, im pretty sure if it was the other way around ariana wouldve done the same thing.especially because of how well her career is going as well. this is just my opinion u can agree to disagree. thank you.
