I live in Iowa, but I have spent lots of time in Vancouver since 1971.
Vancouver is the most beautiful city in North America. North Vancouver is the area you want to spend most of your time in
It's definitely beautiful there
I've been watching a lot of videos on Vancouver lately and it just looks like an extraordinary city 😍 Beautifully captured by you my friend 🙌🏻
Thanks! It's a wonderful city.
Thanks for sharing, can't wait to get the chance to visit one day

Great job on the tour of Stanley Park. I have been there quite a few times, but I didn't even know of some of the places you highlighted. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely love the totem poles and your videos!! Great information and narration please keep them coming👍😊❤️
Thank you so much! :)
What a great interactive map. This should make the planning easier. Wow, I like the biking trail along the sea. Great that the bikes path is divided from pedestrian one. The outdoor area of the teahouse restaurant is so cozy! The gun is a great spot, I haven't heard of that tradition. I didn't even know there are 3500 rose specious! Wow, plenty of things to explore! Thanks for a great tour.
The map was so helpful. And I wish I had time to go biking there it was so pretty. Lots of things to see and do there 👌
Excellent tips and information! Enjoyed watching this video 😊
Thanks so much!
What a cool park! I love when there's so much to do in a park that isn't just hikes and natural stuff, which of course, is the highlight, but still! I love the Stanley Park Train, I always go on train rides that allow adults :P my second favorite has to be the lighthouse! So cool that there's one in the park :) thank you so much for sharing! I appreciate all the information yo
u included about every attraction.
It was really nice to have a variety of attractions and things to do. I agree - nature is great, but this park had it all! I was so sad we missed the last train, but glad we saw it pull back in the station.
Awesome video. Thanks
thanks!
So graceful presence .
Mesmerising video......thanks for sharing with us dear!!!
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!
@@TheAverageTourist keep going your nice effort guys, have a wonderful Sunday!!!!
Amazing tips!
Thanks!
Wao 😊❤
So glad you made a full video of Stanley Park. Working on a cruise ship we did a season in Canada/Alaska. Sailing out of Vancouver I always dreamed of walking or cycling on that long pathway next to the water 🥰 but I had no idea there was so much to do! Can definitely spend more than 1 day seeing all the sites and doing all the activities 😌
I've always wanted to try working on a cruise ship! What did you do on the ship? I bet you made it to some pretty cool places. There is a lot to do in the area - not to mention how much you can just do in the park. Hope you get back one day to explore.
@@TheAverageTourist I was a fitness instructor...it was really hard work 😅 but we did about a month in Alaska, 3 months in Mexico and Caribbean and then just over 4 months doing a World Cruise 😁
@@BeingBedingfield That's awesome. My dream is to do a world cruise. But as a guest... I probably could never afford it though, so I might have to retire early and get a job on the cruise ship so I can do one 🤣
@@TheAverageTourist 😂😂 being a guest is definitely much better! It’s so expensive though 😭
So cute! Great video showcasing this place for sure! Love that there is 18 items to feature in this place and I know it will be really helpful to everyone who is planning to visit. We especially love the boat riding and checking out the lighthouse! They are all so different. Hope that the horses are being treated well for the horse drawn tours :(. Views are especially NICE! Thanks for sharing us around!
Yes there are so many activities and things to see there. I hope it's helpful to others, we really had a great time there exploring.
Beautiful park, nice place to explore! 😍❤️👌
It was awesome!
Wow. Really nice! Keep up the good work 🥳
Thanks so much!
We’ve been to Stanley Park many times as Vancouver is just a train ride away. You did a great job covering Stanley Park.
Thanks so much! You're lucky to be so close to this area.
Really very nice 😊
Thanks!
It is a really nice park. Defo a great place to soak in for a day :D
Yes an awesome park to experience
Those totem poles are really cool! Hope they are maintained for many years to come. Looks like so many things to do in Stanley Park and it's really well set up for visitors - good tip on the parking. One day I'll make it over to explore Canada 😀
The totem poles were pretty cool to see. It's a beautiful place to explore - I hope you get here one day!
Great tip on the parking at the park! Stanley park train looks so much fun ;) Nice beaches and many activities to do over there is seems like! Also good tip on the romantic picnic idea ;)
There's so much to see and do there - I really could have spent the whole day there.
Another informative video dear. There are so many interesting places to visit there in your place. The map is really useful to find must-visit spots. Those little colorful flowers are lovely. Thanks for sharing your trip.
Thank you so much! I really liked the map too. Such a beautiful area to explore.
i love their interactive map!!! we need these in every single park in the world! ahihihi
I agree! The map was so helpful
i love Stanley park, we biked the seawall a few years ago. such a beautiful place and love the views. We were in Burnaby and white rock a few weeks ago but never made it to Vancouver
Vancouver was really nice - but we really enjoyed getting out of the city to experience the amazing nature in the area.
Omg this park everything! That was such a great note about paying for parking. I could see how that could be confusing if you are visiting for the first time. And omg they tweet out boom at 9 every night! That’s so cute. And did you say train! I love trains!
I wish we made it in time to ride the train. THe park was incredible and yes, the parking was so confusing!! Glad there was someone to ask.
Very useful video
Thanks!
The Teahouse overlooking English bay, I see what they did there!😄
It looks like you had such perfect weather for this trip.
That’s the most totem poles I’ve ever seen in one place, it’s crazy that the horse can pull that many people, must be super strong!
Haha yeah those English and their tea lol. The weather was actually incredible -we definitely lucked in.
I like this channel Good luck for you the best impression from Indonesia
There are soo many things to do here, the online map would sure be helpful to plan a trip.
I had to go check out that Nine o Clock Gun twitter!
This video will be so helpful to anyone planning a visit 😊
Thanks so much. It's an amazing park to explore
I had no idea Stanley Park was the first park in Vancouver. Their online map does look great for planning trip. I love wildlife and I am sure I would love this park.
The map was awesome and yes - lots of wildlife there
Stanely park looks amazing and I love the variety. The teahouse looks amazing and the Totem poles and horse-drawn tour sound like must do. The app/website looks like it is a must to plan your visit. What you guys did NOT get to the brewery, where you ok that day?😂 Great Video guys.
Haha oh man, I wanted to go to the brewery so badly! But traffic was one way and it was just too challenging to get all the way back around. The map was very helpful to plan our visit for sure.
@@TheAverageTourist that makes sense :)
Check out our Vancouver vlogs from 2019!! We LOVE it there! We didn't do Stanley Park because we were on our way to Seattle for an Alaskan Cruise. We love the Richmond Market, Capilano Suspension Bridge, etc. Awesome!!
I'll definitely take a look. I've always wanted to go on an Alaskan Cruise - so much to see and do in the area.
Cool map feature! Is that a city sponsored thing? Yay, Alan got a video spot with the train! How long is the bike/walk seawall path? The Teahouse Restaurant doesn't sound so much like a Go Travel On The Cheap locale! 😎 It would be fun to hear the cannon go off at 9pm. We think it's so great that many places in Canada take their flower gardens very seriously! 🌹 April loves viewing totem poles! 100 years, wow! What was your favorite attraction/activity? 😀
Yes the map is on the website for the park and the path is about 10km long. The teahouse seemed quite expensive - we probably wouldn't have stopped even if it was open! I think my favourite thing was just all of the water views everywhere.
Gotcha. Yes, water views are so great! We don't have as many here in UT like we did in FL...
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, but its impossible for me to visit that place, because i am too far away from this park.
Oh that's too bad, maybe one day!
come kelowna BC
Would love to one day!
