Hey everyone ! It’s boarding day, vlogs obviously aren’t in order but I’m happy to finally post boarding the magic. Spoiler alert, it’s my 2nd favorite Disney cruise. I’ve only been on 3 so far but this ship was surprising for being built 26 years ago.

The Disney Magic is my favorite ship! In 2017, I planned a repeat trip for my mom and I on the Disney Magic. She had metastatic breast cancer that had spread to her bones and skull. During her treatments, she told every doctor that she had to keep going because she had a Disney Cruise to go on. We made it on the cruise and she had a wonderful time. She passed away less than a month after the cruise. She truly lived for that cruise.

Yes, I’ll admit that the Disney Magic will always hold a very special place in my heart. I was tasked with creating a very special launch for the ship helping tp have Tinkerbell “christen” the ship as Bette Midler sang. I sailed on her years later and will never forget my part in bringing this amazing ship to life!

That room is so cool...I love balcony rooms but the portholes would be a hit with the kids for sure and the fact that they have covers is so fun! I love this room...the divider curtain is so nice if one of you is up earlier than the other or staying up later...it's a cozy, beautiful room! Disney has the BEST music!! Rapunzel's dinner was AMAZING! I am SO impressed with this little ship! I think this is going to be our first Disney Cruise ship experience! SO IMPRESSED!

Your usb charger is a power strip with a surge protector. Be careful I have one that looks like it has a surge protector but it isn’t. I had it confiscated.
It’s nice they acknowledge content creators. They bring cruise lines a lot of business. Most my research before going on a cruise was creators content
The magic was our first Disney cruise and I am dying to go back on her. Rapunzels table was awesome. Their animators palette is great too

On Royal Caribbean, there is a junior suite on Odyssey of the seas that has the toilet separate from the shower area

I have POTS also so I totally understand where Casey is coming from. I have EDS (a lot of people with EDS suffer from POTS) so the stairs would be difficult for me as well. I hope you don’t push yourself too much and know that taking the elevator is OK especially if it means you will feel better because of it. Love your videos 💗

Aww, our first cruise was on the Magic on the first floor. We were in room right next door 1074. We absolutely loved it. It was very quiet. Quick add, the braided apple dessert is my favorite DCL dessert out of all the ships!
I had no clue Casey had POTS. I am a fellow POTSie (along with a billion other co-morbidities). As a person who lives in the Midwest, I can't imagine dealing with the Florida heat constantly and my service dog would hate it!
One more reason why it would be great if he didn't shame her for wanting to use the elevators...

The music and the choreography for the Sail A Wave are the same as the Disney Wonder from when I was on the ship when it was in Australia 🇦🇺

Definitely take on all the Disney Cruise ships I want to see how different they are! Also here's a question...where do you find the Captain Minnie plush? Is it on ANY of the Disney cruise ships or something you need to order? And besides the obvious Disney autograph books...what are the best items to have Disney Characters sign? Going on the Dream in December for Merrytime! Second Disney one for me I was on the Wish for the Halloween cruise last year! :)

My personal favorite ship in the Disney fleet is the Fantasy. Just felt like as a Teen it had more to offer then the magic and wonder. The dream was also nice but on my last cruise on the dream it fell short of what we were expecting.

Currently watching :) Can’t wait to cross the pond from Australia. First ship for us from the US is the Magic. Was on the wonder for Aus season & will be again for next season. We are currently booked on all ships so very excited to see Castaway, Lookout, Nassau, Falmouth, Cozumel, Grand Caymans. Your videos are amazing & very grateful for them. Hope to cruise with you both :)
That’s actually just a normal hair dyer. They didn’t give out handheld ones because they were worried about it causing electrical issues so the built it in so it wouldn’t cause any!

The thing in the bathroom that you thought was for shaving is a hair dryer. It's the old style hair dryers that used to be in older ships.
Mmmmmm is smells so good! Did you know Scentsy sells Disney scents , including The Wish, and warmers including Winnie the Pooh and a Stormtrooper! Of course they are the ones providing the Smelephants smells at WDW, but they have been providing Disney and customers with delicious Disney themed smells for years. Imma go turn on my warmer. 😊

Hey Kyle! Love your content, I just have one tidbit that might be helpful? I would just be wary saying "Disney's Private Island" since Disney doesn't own the island and shares it with locals (also Princess Cruises). I noticed Disney has been saying "Private Destination" so that might work better to avoid confusion with potential cruisers! Anyhoo, definitely go on all of the ships this year! I'll be sailing the Mediterranean on the Dream Monday, and that would be such a cool vlog for you and Casey to do someday! 🎉

We cruised on the Magic in 1999, it was a wonderful cruise. Since then we were on the Dream and we will be on The Wish in November, and I cannot wait! So excited!

Hi Kyle and Casey! Can you please speak on the "scent" of the ship and the Disney hotels you always speak of? I am highly sensitive to perfumes (especially hotels that "pump in" fragrances in their lobbies). I always have to specifically request "fragrance free rooms" at the hotels and resorts I stay in. Thanks :)

I don’t like the older ship vlogs. The island also looks so boring compared to Royals. Are there no pools on the island? I looked up prices and it’s ridiculous what they charge for this old ship just so you can visit the island that is sub par.
Honestly, it's just expensive because it's the Disney name. Royal beats it 100%.

We love the split bathroom on DCL BUT it’s not like that in every room. You have to pay more for the rooms with split bathroom. They have standard tub/ toilet rooms that are the “ standard “ rooms. DCL has the best rooms cause they are all much larger than other cruise line rooms in my opinion.
Dang.....I didn't even know that all of em don't offer this....thats something that needs to be talked about more! Just seems like the "norm" in all vloggers I watch
Most of the staterooms offered on the Disney Cruise Line have split bathrooms but not all. My husband and I booked an inside cabin our first DCL and we had just one bathroom with shower and toilet. Our 2nd DCL we upgraded to a porthole room and we had the split bathroom. We just booked our third DCL and got an inside cabin but had to book a higher inside cabin category to get the split bathroom. Always good to check when you book just in case you’re looking for one over the other. 😊
