Thanks Miki. I really enjoyed watching your Kumamoto video series. Your videos are very informative and entertaining.
Thank you John Tanaka🫶
Kumamoto was even better than expected🥰
Looks like a beautiful place to visit and feel the power of the Earth🌏️
But I wouldn't want to live so close to an active volcano🌋️
Thanks for sharing another great travel destination with us MIKI.
Arigato Steve :D🫶
I agree with you🌋🫣
But I would like to camp in Aso🥰
Kyushu is a really nice place🎶
I wish more people abroad knew about it.
Wonderful nature, thank you . Greetings
Nice that you show us a japanese active volcano which isn't the super famous Mount Fuji 😊⛰
Arigato d94joasi🥰🫶
To be honest, I had not expected Mt. Aso to be as spectacular as it is🫣
The crater was of course impressive and wonderful, but I was also impressed by the beauty of the caldera✨
Amazing volcano & caldera!! 🤩 (I'm glad they have those concrete shelters, just in case!) 👍
I've been looking forward to this video since your live stream I was excited to see this notification as a Guy that grew up in the country I love horses and barbecue the scenery looks Kool like staring into surtr's kingdom or the opening of helheim 🤫 secretly the best part of these videos is Miki Chan herself so kawaii and energetic I love her so much she's a sweetheart ❤❤❤❤❤ thanks for the video
Great video it would be great to view the volcano from a helicopter 🚁.
The beef you had for dinner made me instantly feel hungry 😋
Arigato Rob🐻🫶
I have never ridden in a helicopter and would like to try it someday🥳🚁
Very nice video Miki! ☺
Mt. ASO is so interesting! Great view at 9:50!
That was a wonderful video. Thank you Miki chan.
Cool trip Miki! Thanks for taking me!
Really interesting place! I would definitely love to visit. The crater was so fascinating! Thank you Miki 🙂 👏👏👏
Arigato Splcaste🌀🫶
It was a very interesting and very beautiful mountain🥺⛰️✨
Nice channel hope to visit Mt. Kumamoto someday.
Wow wow wow I Love Miki
Really cool Miki, when you were in the middle of the caldera it gives a sense of a crater on the moon.
It must have felt freaky walking past the safety shelters on the way to the volcano 🌋
Awesome 👍👍✌️
Thank you Maia🥳🫶
Indeed😳!!
Lunar calderas and volcanic calderas are similar! I wonder if there is any relationship between the two🧐?
@@miki_japan
🤔 I think there is definitely a relationship if they are both volcanic.
The lunar surface is predominantly impact craters and if you were able to look out from the middle of one as you did with the volcanic caldera, there would be similarities with the landscape.
How did you feel when you were there?
@@Maia_nz That is very interesting✨ We need to go to the moon🌝haha
@@miki_japan
Yeah ok I'll try and arrange a ride
🚀 🌚
@@miki_japan
Hey Miki, Sorry I missed your livestream! I was rearranging my shed 🥵
Thanks for another great video Miki. So interesting to see an active volcano 🌋. I have never seen one myself up close like this before but would love to some day. Watching your videos and your live streams makes me realise how much of Japan I still haven't seen. I would've loved to have seen you ride the horse 🐎 😁
Arigato Steve🍜🫶
I've never ridden a horse so I'd like to try it🐴✨
Does it hurt my butt🫣?
@@miki_japan yes probably😆😆
I LOVE all of your videos. This is just my observation so I do not mean to offend you, but it sounds like you have an Italian accent. I think it’s COOL!!!
Glad you went to Kumamoto to see Mt. Aso, trying out different foods, and to explore the magnificent environment. Hope you had a great time there.
It looks like a great place to visit, but I would be scared to live there.🌋
Arigato Timtim🐣🫶
It's so beautiful, but I'm a little scared to live there too🫣🌋
What a spectacular place of natural beauty. I would love to be Link from the Legend of Zelda and ride a horse 🐎 there all day but it will cost a fortune! :D

How nice! I was there a few years ago and stayed at Takafue Ryokan. It was awesome.
Takefue😳!?
Takefue Ryokan is one of the Ryokan I would like to stay at🥺
It's hard to get reservations, and now it's becoming too popular and the price is so much higher🫠
@@miki_japanI know you will stay at Takefue in the future. I only stayed there one night. But it was so nice. I am jealous because you get to visit so many nice places! Anyways I will be visiting Tohoku next month....tanoshimi!
Thanks for sharing. We went in December 2019. The grassland was definitely not as green 😅
Unfortunately, the bus trip up to the crater was closed. It was still under repair because of the big eruption in 2016. We could only watched the view of the crater on a screen in the souvenir shop 😂. Nevertheless, the trip was worth it!
I'm watching your Kumamoto vlogs since we're going there next week! Very informative and entertaining. 😊
Amazing Aso volcano❤Arigato Miki for giving us a free tour👍🥹🗻⛰️🌋🚎🍦🥩
Hahaha - I'm spotting a theme in these videos. You either miss or nearly miss buses all the time 😂 Too busy eating lunches!
Thank you for the video, really nice and interesting have a great day
One day I will visit Aso and Sakurajima. An interesting bit of kaiju eiga trivia:
In the film Radon: Sora no Daikaiju, both Radons were trapped in Mt. Aso at the end of the movie.
I wonder if the emergency shelters have ever been used? 🤔They would only be needed if there was a surprise eruption while sightseers were present. 🌋It is truly beautiful and awe-inspiring 👀💯Arigato Miki San ❣Another perfect Japan VLog ‼🙇♂👻🎉
Thank you Unjab🐯♡
I asked the staff about the shelter and they said it wasn't being used😎
Because if there is even the slightest chance of an eruption, you can't go to that place🌋
Finally watched itttt! I'm super glad riight now! ^^ 9:43 WOW Amazing!! Thank you ever so much for your effort Miki!!
Great video - loved your energy :-)
😮 สวยมากเลยค่ะ
a bit scary to be in the active volcano area
I’m glad that I stumbled about this video! I’m planning to visit Japan in late April and would like to add this into my itinerary, can I check with you if im required to book any of the bus you shown in the video in advance? Thanks for the video!
There is no need to reserve a seat on the bus in advance on the website🚌
Wonderful Country! Japan is amazing. I have subscribed to your channel now. Greetings from Hemsedal, Norway. I upload videos from beautiful Hemsedal everyday. It is a cozy small town in the moutains.
Hello Miki, amazingly i see ur video today and u visit Aso. Im planning to visit there next year somewhere in March, but i find it hard to reach cause i only have 8 days to visit Kyushu. I bring 2 children, would you recommend me to visit Aso or skip it to visit other places? Any recommendation? Last time i visit tohoku also follow your recommendation. Thnk you
Will you rent a car?
Or will you use public transportation only?
@@miki_japan hi.. this is the main discussion . Personally i just want to use public transportation, but i see mostly rent cars to go to Aso. Thats why i quite surprised you took train and bus to go to Aso. Amazing. I think i only see few people go there by train or bus. But my wife said it will waste too much times .. thats why i confused
@@daddykano5519
If you can drive a car in Japan, you should rent a car🚗
Especially if you have children!!
To be honest, I don't know if children enjoy Mt. Aso.
If I had visited Mt. Aso as a child, I might not have been impressed.😂 haha
I passed, but there are some facilities for children, so I would like to share them with you♪
Zoo
maps.app.goo.gl/aRaWYdd2sjKzzF3Z7
This zoo is located halfway to the top of Mt. Aso, where buses also stop.
Another Zoo

Small zoo but for some reason very well reviewed!!
But probably only accessible by rental car or cab.
Hi Miki! Just curious. Were you comfortable while travelling that time? September is summer time in Japan, right? Then you went to a volcano crater…so just wondering if it was really uncomfortably hot that time? Planning to explore Kyushu this year and I want to add this to my itinerary. Honestly you’re videos are so helpful and fun 😁👍
It was comfortable for me. The temperature in Mt. Aso is lower than in other areas⛰️

Dear Miki . How can I access to Mt.Aso from Kumamoto train station?
How to go to Mount Aso if we from KUMAMOTO City>?
by bus!
