I heartily recommend Medik8's 'Crystal Retinal' and Verso's 'Super Eye Serum'. Both sensational products if you have genuinely sensitive skin but would love to incorporate retinol into your regime. For hydrating lotion 'top ups' and cleansers, it's Japanese skincare all the way. You have gorgeous skin though and I loved being nosey and hearing about what other people rave about and love.

In U.S and Canada Effederm is known as Stieva Retin A. Only by prescription, and it is also very cheap here too. It's very important to use the highest SPF sunscreen, as it makes your skin extremely sensitive to the sun.

I didn't know the US version so thank you because when I lived in the USA I used to take 2 or 3 tubes with me from Paris. I only use Tetrinoide during winter and I always apply SPF on my skin. Special SPF when going to the beach (the one and only from Avene recommended by my dermatologist this is the ONLY one preventing wrinkles for summer and hard to get even in France!)

I agree with you! I’ve been following a plant based skin care routine for 20 yrs now. I use some of these products and some are DIY.

I loved hearing what skincare products you like to use. Fragrancenet carries Orlane at discounted prices. I shop for perfume there a lot and they are reputable. Cistus is Rock Rose and is grown in the US as an ornamental but I don't think I have seen it in skincare. The same with the immortelle flower. This plant also grows here. I know, being a gardener myself :o) I am going to try some of these products you like. Thank you! I don't read French well so I probably can't order from Aroma Zone, lol. oxJulia

Bonsoir yes Rock rose and immortelle are one of the most effective skincare ingredients. L’occitane the French and beauty brands does carry some skincare products with immortelle but it is in a very low amount… not really effective. Tata Harper uses rock rose and immortelle. Usually mainstream skincare brands don’t put these ingredients because it is too expensive. Immortelle is very expensive but the French one only grow in Corsica. I enjoy a natural skincare routine because I can add whatever essential oil in my cream..

Oh girl, it's not a secret...retin A has been prescribed by dermatologists for decades as well as 50 spf sunscreen. In Canada both are quite affordable.

Love hearing about your skincare routine! Orlane is a beautiful line, I agree it is not as easy to find these days. I also like Lancaster products, also very gentle. The more natural products are definitely better for your skin, especially with sensitive skin but also the more natural products do not clog your pores. I would like to really look into some of these products they sound amazing!!🧖🏻‍♀️🧴💖

I love Orlane and they also smell so good. I use Lancaster when it comes to sunscreen but my dermatologist recommend me the Avene sunscreen.
