One of the best bikes I had did over 96.000 miles on mine and thrashed it a lot .only items I changed were cam chain primary chain and rings.change oil and let it warm up from cold it will go forever.
+itsjussjerry Thank you, but I now have a red version of this bike (I ride it and do motovlogs on it). Though I would love to have another, I need to save up for a new modern bike. :-)
I had the identical bike bought new in 1977. Bought at Ralphs Honda in South Orange new jersey. It can be identified by chromed gas cap cover and toggle switch on top of headlight. I would love to find that bike. I sold it in 1986 for $800 in perfect condition.
There was a K-Model and this F2-Model. The K had the 4-4 and the F2 „Super Sport“ hat the 4-1. Other paintings also. The F2 was made in this blue and in winered with golden stripes in this years...
yes you are so right. Always warm your motor at idle until its hot to the touch before taking out on the road. Get that oil thinned out and flowing good!
Chris Szakacs There is one in the Sioux City, Iowa craigslist right now . Looks like it could use some tlc but it's only priced at $400. siouxcity.craigslist.org/mcy/5167736701.html
I had a 1978 model. God this brings back memories.
My God - i hope that bike was warmed up before you started it and revved it so hard

This was my first motobike. I bought such a Honda new in 1979. Was just the „rest“ of this series.....
I wish I had a time machine and could go back to 2012! I would have bought it as soon as the ad was put on craigslist.
I have one for sale. Comment if interested

ホンダ4気筒バイクはエンジンの始動が良いですね、私は小柄なので😅350、4気筒の4本マフラーから出る音が魅力的ですね
Nice bike, what is the difference between this one and the regular 550 four, not the super sport?

"the original super bike"
I think the 76 is the first "super bike". The 77 has slightly different decals on the tank and side covers.
If you're starting it from cold, I wouldn't rev the engine until its warmed up or you'l damage it!!
