I've always sorely regretted selling my Gibson ES-335. This could be the affordable replacement. Plus, the ebony board is a huge incentive. Ebony plays so smooth.
Rick- I bought my T59V after a previous video you did of this guitar and a Heritage & a 347. You gushed about this guitar and you were right. It’s amazing! Thank you for the great review.
I have one and I also have a Gibson custom shop 335. They are both great instruments. The Gibson is a pound lighter, and feels slightly smaller in the hands - I think the bout on the Eastman is ever so slightly wider and deeper, and the fretboard is wider too. So the Eastman feels like a bigger beast and is less comfortable to play on your knee than the Gibson. I use a strap to take the weight of the Eastman even when I'm sitting down and like that it's very playable - neck is a really nice depth. Both guitars have fantastic tone - the Gibson custombuckers just a touch more aggressive and dynamic, and the Eastman a bit more mellow but still with bite when you need it. And the red antique finish on mine looks absolutely killer.

Ran into one of these today hanging USED at my local GC for 1549 with case...seriously thinking about it! Good review sir!
I just got a T59/v. I thought it would be good. It’s actually better than I expected.
Love this guitar. Think I want a red one
I have been dreaming of an eastman hollow body. You make that one sing so effortlessly.
That sounds fabulous and you're playing sounds fabulous.
Thanks!
You sir are a real guitar player!

Just grabbed one for $1500 cash. Saved about $400 after taxes. A wonderful 335 sub for less than half the price.
That is a good buy!! Nice job, Aaron! Let me know how you like it!
