"SURELY TISSOT " don't supply watches in this box straight from a Chinese dropshipper ??

Shame they don't use the AD route to show off their wares locally, but their returns policy is excellent. Not the end for the PRX as it is at a different price point to the 12 & that difference will mean a lot of of people will still go for the Tissot. Basically there is room for both at their different price points & both are quality for their potential customers.

    I have this same piece. I was able to see it in the CW gallery in early May. James hosted us and he was so helpful. It was a no brainer after handling and seeing it. I have two PRX chronographs which I love but the Twelve is just different. I walked into a watch and jewelry boutique in Dubai recently and the store assistant said-“wow is that a Czapek?” I can’t wait to see what other colours CW bring out for the steel version.

    This is a great piece. For this one I decided to sell my integrated bracelet watches (a Maurice Lacroix Aikon 39, a Tissot PRX 40 quartz and a Citizen Tsuyosa) because in my humble opinion this one has the best characters from them. I already own a CW (a C60 sapphire blue) and every time I wear it I am blown away thinking about the value for money of that watch. Definitely this is one of my favorite brands in the current watch industry.

    • @oliverkuno8679
      @oliverkuno8679 Год назад

      IMHO when it comes for best value for money, the Tsuyosa is unbeateable, considering you get them on the second market for 180-220 Euros. Also I think the CW is quite comparable to the Tissot PRX PM80 and again, looking at the second market you can even get the Iceblue now for 550-570 Euro. There is no second market prices yet in the EU, so that will determine something in the bear future. However I personally would choose the PRX over the CW purely it being half the price or less as both have mass production clockworks.

    The 12 is way better quality. It is Tudor level. But it is much more expensive. My only criticism of Ward watches is the metal they use seems to scratch very easily, as bad as a Rolex. Maybe they use 914L. Scratches are easily polished out though. If you get a twelve you will stare at it for hours 🤣 The dial is amazing. But pay a bit extra and go for the Titanium one. Not sure I’d consider The 12 a PRX “killer”, but certainly a beautiful watch with superb finishing. My PRX Ice Blue just arrived today and I can tell already why it cost just $700…set it just 9.5 hrs ago and it’s lost 3 seconds already, bracelet is comfortable but sharp, L2L is WAY too big for it’s case size etc… So many say that the PRX punches above its price point, but I beg to differ. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautifully done watch for the price that it is…$700. The CW is unequivocally far more refined than the PRX, which is why it costs double the price. However, there is room for both in the watch industry. Basically Tissot owns the sub $1k space when it comes to Integrated Sports watches, and CW owns the $1k - $2k space. And let’s remember here that CW is not a new company. They have been around since 2005, almost 20 years now, so not sure with the quality of their watches and 20 years of history, that they are considered a micro brand anymore.

    unfortunately i can't consider anything with a 38hr power reserve a killer of anything

      I think for the price it should have a larger power reserve. Especially when the PRX is half the price and also has a mass produced ETA movement.

    It's a good looking watch but both too big and too expesive for me. There's not a lot of love being shown in the comments so far. Hmmm.

      Won't help with the price much, but they are launching a 36 mm version later this year.

    Everything is great with this watch but that power reserve is laughable. Need at least 50 hours in this price range in my opinion

    Killer this, killer that... there's enough market out there for individual tastes and preferences
    . Doesn't have to be either/or. Otherwise we'd be eating 1 kind of food, 1 brand clothing, 1 brand car, 1 brand shoes and so on.

    Not a competitor for the PRX it’s literally double the price.
    Also it’s not better looking than a royal oak or the VC. You can’t hype this up more and make people think it’s better looking that a fucking royal oak 😂
