PLAY THE LAD!!! He’s clearly quality and I’d have faith that he could do a job as a 10, 8 or a 6. He can’t be any worse than Fred or Scott as a 6. And he’s pretty press resistant and can pass.
@@david6178 you know nothing, that’s why he regularly gets selected for Utd and Brazil. But you’re probably just another social media era millennial that just follows what the majority are saying
@@GodmadeTrends bruv I religiously watch man united. Every game without fail and watch highlights on every game. Fred is absolutely shocking. I’ll put a bet on here that he’ll make a mistake that’ll lead to a goal against liverpool like he’s done 5+ times this season.
@@paulconnelly4050 Man said himself he can play DM, he started his career at DM & was moved forward. He has the attributes for it. He's more than capable
@@carringtonndhlovu6145 I'm not saying you can't be a DM if your small but it definitely helps if your not. The more important point is, the way Van De Beek plays he'd be wasted as a DM. Lets see. Solksjaer may well end up playing in that position.
I hate it when people make videos like this. A collection of a player that doesn’t do anything special, receives ball and makes a simple pass on 5 or 6 occasions. If you had just titled the video Donny Van De Beek vs Brentford, no problem, but where did you get “Great Performance” from, or maybe it’s sarcasm that went over my head? DVDB has the makings of a great player. He was good at Ajax. Utd aren’t giving him a decent run and he seems subdued every time he plays, sideways passes, simple 5 yard passes that don’t achieve any penetration or danger. I think he’s worried that if he takes risks or runs with the ball and loses possession, it will work against him. At Ajax he used to run to the edge of the box on the right or into the box and get on the end of crosses, as an addition to the forwards. At United I’ve seen him do that once, on his debut...and he scored. Hope he succeeds, he could be the next Paul Scholes, if given the chance.
Exactly. I feel sad for him. Really heartbroken, When he comes on for 4-5 minutes, he does all he can to impress, constantly asking for the ball and tracking back. I mean I wouldn't have felt so bad unless there was someone better than him, but looking at Fred, I feel sorry for him. VDB must be feeling so bad as Fred starts ahead of him. Same thing happened to me in my football club and I can confirm that you need to demand the coach and never put your confidence behind but Donny is too humble .
@@thirstyjogger I agree. On the humble issue, I think Ole is probably using his own example when he was playing for United. He didn't start games regularly and had the super sub moniker and will be telling VDB that if he's patient and makes the most of his playing time it will eventually happen. Whether it does or not is another matter. Look at players like Dan James, Wilfried Zaha, Matteo Darmian etc. I hope he doesn't follow in that way.
He's great at keeping possession of the ball as long as possible before passing it to someone open like at 0:54 . With him bulking up during injury, maybe he can even be more dominant and steal the ball without always doing sliding tackles like he did against Leicester when we rested our main team for Europa. He's solid defensively and good at making chances in the box. With a little more game time and a better formation (like the rumored 4-3-3) he could be a great addition to the main squad

Agree he is a more class player than fred and Scott this goes to show that ole is a crazy coach to have a quality player on the bench smdh kmt!!!!
I just want to see this boy succeed at United,I'm wishing him a great season ahead.

They should try him as a dm, he looks after the ball well and can put in a tackle
happy this is top comment been saying this for ages
He’s not a DM man, jeez. He’s not big or strong enough. Box to box midfielder is where he would be best.

It’s unbelievable that they don’t play him more often, he deserves better!
We should let this man go. We're wasting his career he has so much potential and loyalty. But instead we keep begging pogba.
Matic seems pretty close to Donny lately. Wondering if he is passing his CDM knowledge to Donny 🤔. Very interesting
Haha Yes!
A far greater captain than Maguire!
Ole out!
Ole out
Donny Van de Bench
This was a memory before , but now he does not play no match
He can be a good cm
Quite rare btw ngl😂😂
Already Better than Maguire
Tell me one Freaking thing that Fred is better than this guy. Clearly he has more physicality
Better? hmmm Fred is better at being worse and Fred is better for other teams.
I rate him above Bruno
God punish ole 💯🤦♂️
