A year later.. I’m here vouching for this recommendation! It’s divine.
I first saw Aurora sing this song at the noble peace prize , which is still what I think was her best performance of it.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2023, and if I don't make it, I've already let it be known I want this song played at my funeral, THANK YOU AURORA FOR WRITING SUCH BEAUTIFUL WORDS FOR MY DEPARTURE 🎶🕊️❤️🕊️🎶

I am 20+ years your senior & have been listening to singers from Edith Piaf & Sarah Vaughn straight through Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks and so on right up to now. I have 40,000 tunes on my computer--and... I have NEVER heard a singer/soul like Aurora. Piaf is the closest for purity, but not for message. Aurora, btw, has a genius iq (tested in highschool); she is incredibly smart and could care less. she is simply boiling with talent and vision--she truly cares about others, from family to fans. it is very rare to get an empath as a singer who also has a real instrument in their voice. as mentioned, the full concert in extraordinary, as is the concert at the end of the HAIK AURORA episode. it is shorter and i think you will particularly like "Seed" at that concert. her music is amazing--she is an authentic genius.
What's amazing is she did this concert at the end of an extensive tour and sounds like she's fighting through a bit of vocal exhaustion. But it's like she's summoning something to give us a gift.
The best way I could put it is that Aurora has an aura about her.
It's a depth of emotion that radiates regardless of the type of emotion being displayed.
Not going to lie, whenever I see Aurora sing, it's like watching a plane taking off. She starts, she's on course, and then boom... She just takes off. It's wild.
THAT'S THE BEST CONCERT EVER CANT WAIT FOR THE FULL REACTION
I'm sure Aurora is one of the purest human beings on this planet...!
I think the key to understanding is that she sings the song much more for herself than the audience. She IS the song, it is her and the real world is not really there. So many times you can see in her face, as the song ends, she is coming back to our world.
You should also watch/react to the HAIK documentary... you will learn so much more about the magic girl, that Aurora is!
She seems so mournful in her quiet moments, she really embodies her sound. She is the music and all that surrounds it.
The whole concert is just perfect I believe her best vocals of any live concert.
OK here's some words for you - enchanting, mesmerizing, ethereal, haunting, magical.
Aurora is absolutely captivating. It's called musical genius, vocal brilliance. Like Angelina Jordan, Aurora is so composed, so present, so completely sure of herself and her performance. She gives the impression of spontaneity, but she is absolutely in control -- she never misses a note. Aurora is controlled chaos, like a rope walker crossing the Grand Canyon. She is just mesmerizing.
Don't worry about trying to describe her, no body else can either. Just join the club, sit back and enjoy.
You should react to a whole album. "Infections of a different kind" and "Different kind of human" are part of the same work and LITERALLY made me stuck in my room for a day just listening to it 🙃 Wonderful.
I have seen this concert..... Over 50 times... But I can't wait to watch it "with you".... It is that mindblowingly fantastic.....
She is a master on big arengments but all she need is a piano or a guitar and some rewerb on here voice.

Aurora is such a wonderful and magic fairy queen, so animated and alive, full of emotions and feelings she is not afraid of portraying openly and freely. She has such freedom, and i admire her for it in this world of fakeness, a world where most are following the stream and aspiring to be like everyone else, afraid of standing out and being unique. She does not. Her songs are a true inspiration and there is a message and deeper meaning behind every word and note, i also second the suggestion for Aurora and Wardruna with Helvegen.

Nice to have you back 👍 What is impressive is that she wrote this song 11 years old and performs it every time with the same amount of emotion. See some artists who are not familiar with songs they had at the beginning of their careers. Ask Rod Stewart if he wants to perform "Do You Think I'm Sexy" Rolling Stones with "She so cold" and there are many more. Do not quite know why, it is part of the career, although it is not songs that go into history books as masterpieces. Anyway ... Aurora wrote "Lucky" when she was 9-10 years old + a couple of bogs and she played them to this day with the same empathy that not many do after her. They started to build Nidarosdomen (the Nidaros dome) in late 1100s and it is the oldest cathretal in norway. And where we crowne our kings and soon or first qeen. Thats after our next king Haakon. His oldest child well be queen after him.

Great reaction. Every time she sings it impacts me. You should not have an issue with her live performances. Many of the videos are recorded for public broadcast so it shouldn't be a problem. Recently there was one issue with another reactor but it seems RUclips mistaken the live concert with the official recording. I have seen a few reactors react to her concerts with no problems. Looking forward to it. I am sure some other Weirdos and Warrio0rs will confirm and add detail.
It feels like when she sings or talks there should be the sound of birds chirping close by. It's magical and soft and serene. Haha idk how to explain it either.

It’s been two years since this reaction. I hope you’ve seen her live version from the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Every version I’ve seen her do, I always go back to that one.

When you see this state you could not describe, it may be when she is inhabiting an interior space... that on some songs it becomes apparent when it ends and she comes back to the moment and the audience and stage. Looking forward to more music as it becomes possible for you!

It is really a fantastic concert. I am watching all your Aurora videos tonight. But I wonder if there is something she has, that we do not...we cannot have it. It is a gift, only she has, and that is why we cannot explain it or describe it...we feel it, we know it is there, but we can't quite describe it to someone else, so we watch her. It never gets old. I have enjoyed your videos because my reactions were similar. I often try to put my finger on what makes her so very unique.
The live concert in Brazil ( I think it is Brazil) is also fantastic. I subbed tonight and would also watch the cathedral concert for the 10th time with you. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

Coming in late, but after seeing a few of your reactions to her and trying to articulate her presence... The only way I've been able to describe her.. She demands attention and invokes complete and utter awe through just being somewhere. Her passion is remarkable. She is truly a modern-day muse, mixed with a touch of say (staying with Greek mythology) a nymph. She inspires utter awe, and has a simple resounding love for nature, while just wanting to make you want more and better for the world. Those are the nearest analogues I could ever think to put her in. The child of a muse and nymph. And has, what seems like, a true humility and love for the world and those around. She makes you want to be better, do better, be more empathetic, and just get back to our basic, loving roots. Break away from the world.
Notice how she is wearing shoes in this, sealing her true powers. It's still an amazing performance but just not the same as her rendition at the 2015 nobel prize.
Warrior live within the Haik Documentary. It's the best version of that song I've seen.
Don't just search and do the song. Do a cropped version from within the Documentary because context is everything. They suprise "two" fans with a private concert of this song.
So, the whole lead in. The picking up of the two fans and the suprise stop at an empty building is magical.
Aurora performs the song with three other artists she only had an hour to practice it with (cello, Chinese harp and keyboard).
She destroyed the fans who were sitting on a couch five feet away.
The whole Haik Documentary is magical, it was produced by NRK which is Norways equivalent to PBS.

If you would like Aurora to really turn you into a blubbering wreck, (you aint heard nuffin yet!) read the stories behind and then listen to "Why did you have to go" and "Little boy in the grass".
If you would like to feel some of her heritage, listen to the live indoor version of Aurora and Wardruna "Helvegen". There's an outdoor version too (in a cave!) but the audio isn't as good.
If you would like to feel that you could conquer the world with her, listen to "Warrior" and "Queendom".
