That's not a bad way to fly cross country. You're spot on - it's been really tough finding decent prices on flights. Thanks for the info + video.

Yea, airfare continues to look quite maddening in 2023. Been relying a lot on award redemptions lately.

You are right that airfare costs have been hard to swallow. At least with Mint you are getting something for the cost.

Thank you for sharing you flight here...Yes, I always let my friends know to use the upgrades to Business/First Class and Premium Economy... The tall friends need the knee room, and it is worth upgrading with the points or by paying.

That was a nice little morning departure gift bag of little eats!!! And those red eyes are hard many times to fly. I know how those are from my former airline myself!!!

That is nice to see the aircraft reflection in the clouds there at about timing 11:32.

Looking forward to my next round trip Mint flights--first time doing the red eye back. It's been kind of a bummer the last two flights missed the parting gift completely. 2022 and 2023. Yours here looks amazing. We didn't even get the promised cashews which I typically take with me to eat later.

I flew mint back in july from SFO to Boston in a throne seat. I enjoyed it. Wouldn't mind trying their new seat given the right fare. Do you have any thoughts on AA'S new flagship suites and premium economy?

I think adding PE to a narrowbody aircraft is a totally logical move. They appear to be the same seat DL is using as domestic F on the A321neo and I think it is pretty solid. AA’s suites on the A321LR look very much like B6’s new suites. Kind of sad for the end of true F with AA but they weren’t very committed to it anyway. On the 787 I’ll reserve judgement for now because the existing super diamond just isn’t a bad seat already and I don’t think doors on their own are a revolution. I like that all the new cabins have a bit more life to them design wise.
